It's not a very complex game, mostly in line with the Arcade formula, the only variety comes from the new guns and the actual levels. There are some small additional…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you enjoyed the demo during the Steam Next Fest but are still on the fence about whether you should buy the full game or not... I STRONGLY urge you to give it a shot. This game is really unique and has a lot of charm. Don't even get me started on how polished it is as well. This may sound stupid, but I was genuinely impressed the first time I played it just by how intuitive and clean the GUI is. But a good GUI isn't the only thing this game offers! Every single boss feels extremely unique…

unlabelledView post →An incredibly unique and fun to play action twin stick shooter. The aesthetics, colors, and sprite work are all good and the story while short has nice and witty dialogue. The game makes up for its relatively short campaign with multiple difficulties and boss rushes each with their own in game challenges to work towards.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →cool game kinda reminds me of that one gameboy game, but with more circles and less green
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Video Review: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E6KhTs3G6xo I played the demo on the tail-end of Next Fest and thought it was really unique. Fast forward some weeks later and I've played this for about 3.5 hours. About half of that was on my Steam Deck. Short version of this review: This game is fast-paced, the rotating arena feels very unique and sets it apart from similar run and gun shooters, great soundtrack and art. The story isn't too serious and feels pretty tongue-in-cheek, and the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →tight gameplay with a banger soundtrack! I love this gem of a game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The idea is awesome. the execution less so. I beat the fastest melee action games so it's not my reaction speed or ability to recognize patterns. It feels like RNG brings about situations that are un-reactable, that are purely random whether you get hit or manage to DPS your way through the stage. The random combining of patterns which each one separately is very doable but some of them together are not. I beat 5 stages and 3/4ths of a 6th. This doesn't feel like the "easy" difficulty that the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Unique, certainly, but random difficulty spikes make it hard to recommend. I also didn't find any of the weapons to be better than the first one, no matter how much I switched it up, which seemed odd and disappointing. I liked the visual style but ultimately found it too uneven to be enjoyable.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Polished, clever, addictive, great gameplay and chiptune soundtrack. If you're looking for a quick pickup arcade action game OR something longer to sink your teeth into and master, this is what you've been searching for!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game is good. Breaks a lot of the habits of bullet-hell games in interesting ways and is cute as heck. Very well produced.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is your new Downwell fix. Game is good.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this is like the best game of all time
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is a short fun game that tests your reflexes. However, it is weird that you can unlock the very rare achievements by selecting the invincible mode and beating the levels easily.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Totally worth it, especially for the Austrian translation. The levels are super-inventive, the base mechanics are something that hasn't really been done before and all the bosses are (more or less) fair and very interesting to beat. It's tough as nails though and sometimes you feel like it's almost random how you made it through some encounter.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Excellent twin stick shooter gameplay with a banger soundtrack. Austrian translation is top notch as well 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game manages to pack more content into its 4 hour runtime than some games manage in 20 hours. The controls are very fluid and the variety of enemies and bosses are very high. Also, each level introduces an interesting new mechanic and a new unique weapon for you to experiment with. If you are a fan of arcade/shmup games with a decent level of challenge, I'd say you definitely have to give this one a spin (pun intended) It's more than well worth its price!

I'm impressed with the creativity & variety on display & really love the use of environment. Tons of challenging bosses & mini-bosses too! Roto Force is a brilliant arcade shooter. Aside from the fresh rotating level design, it's bursting with creativity - uses the environment surprisingly well & tons of weapon, enemy, and boss variety. For more niche curation, follow me…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →At the time of reviewing I have only played the intern (normal) mode, so I can't speak for the other gamemode(s). But this works as a quick overview for what you can expect out of this game. It's a great game! The Art and style work really well, and the mid-game pallete changes work incredibly well. The music is great and the sound design is superb. I do have a few gripes with the game though, for example: I think the game would benefit from having a few more invincibility frames after taking…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a fun little game. Though I think it would benefit from the roguelike treatment. Not that all games do. This one feels like it would shine in that format.

unlabelledView post →pretty good twin stick shmup, the game is challenging and getting thru it is a good source of fun on its own. 1ccing however, i dont know if im good for. diving into specifics, only 3 weapons were good enough to be used from what i felt. the default shot is the most useful overall, the flamethrower has pitiful range but deals the most damage to bosses, and the ricochet shot is fully accurate when fully charged. only those 3 weapons felt good to use in my opinion. the game is incredibly…

unlabelledView post →Saw it on the Austrian info-screen while driving with the tram today, and thought to give it a shot (bada-bum-tss). Threw 5 minutes at it, which doesn't do it justice, so more is to come. Absolutely love the art style already! 👌 Cheers from Innsbruck
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fast-paced, fun and straight to the core gameplay with a slight addiction factor. While I felt it's pretty hard in the beginning I quickly caught myself easily playing through parts I had trouble with only one or two trys prior, seems like there's definitely a player skill improvement happening and you get used to the playstyle rather fast. I could watch the devs working on this pretty much from the early beginnings to now, and they not only pushed it to the point where I was thinking to…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is really fast-paced and fun to play. With the rotating world, it adds very distinctive flavor or let's say.. interesting twist to this genre. The soundtrack and art style are really special and stand out. The fights are certainly a challenge. With completing stages, you unlock new weapons and can try to break your previous records. I really enjoyed playing this game and would summarize that it really adds interesting twists to arcade/twin-stick shooters.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a fun distraction.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →aw come on man you know I'm no good with shapes
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a crime this game isn't more popular. Buy it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its good, but the weapon selection is really hit or miss. On smaller maps, the flamethrower is great (high rate-of-fire, good damage), but everywhere else I either used the quick shot, twin shot, or boomerang shot - as they all had decent range. The remaining weapons just aren't very good as they suffer from both low rate-of-fire and short range - you just can't use them unless you're right next to the enemy. Still a fun shmup, though.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very fun game. I played it first on mobile but it didn't grew on me until I got the game on PC. Having a real physical controller does wonder, even if you're only playing on mouse + keyboard.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I actually played the crap out of this game on Android and I just found out that it was also on PC, so I had to get it. There really isn't anything quite like it and it scratches an itch I didn't even know I had. I can say that using a controller is obviously going to make this game easier than using a touchscreen, but it is still not easy by any means. If you like crazy, frantic shooters that have a handheld game system aesthetic to them, look no further... this is the best!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Roto force, a linear and simplistic bullet hell game that adds a unique concept of a rotational arena, easy to understand but can be quite challenging at times. Roto force yet simplistic in nature, graphically and mechanically, offers quite a short experience in the campaign taking around 4-6 hours to beat on normal mode however, it has a hard mode as well as bosh rush mode for added content. It has good weapon variety that fits all styles of play and has a good amount of enemy variety. The…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very cool bullet hell
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very unique take on the bullet hell genre but good lord am I being skill issue'd by it something terrible. I love my bullet hell games and I'd like to think I'm decent at them but this takes the difficulty to a whole other level to the point that I'm eyeing those accessibility options just so I can see half the stages. It's both forgiving and unforgiving, frequent checkpoints thru a stage and 5 hit points mean you can mess up several times and yet some of these stages are so brutal from all the…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I played the game, the concept is cool not something that other people alredy didn't try to do. What stands out is that the level design and boss design are incredible. I just beat the game and i generally try to get all achievements for the games i play and that's what i'm gonna do but i felt like in this time it will be freaking cool to do it. On all boss fights i made there was only 1 boss fight that i saw as "meh" and 1 boss phase that i didn't like the last last boxx phase where is an…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Join the roto force , its good! Fun game with creative level´s, bosses and a couple of funky weapons.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very enjoyable game, glad I took a chance on it. Cross between a twin stick shooter and a bullet hell - you control a slime that moves around the edge of the stage, shooting in. There's a pretty broad selection of weapons and each stage feels really unique thanks to having its own enemies, bosses and shape. Gradually the complexity increases and the challenge gets really steep. You have a dodge move that flings you across the arena, which you can target to land at specific points, pass through…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →simple yet effective. awesome gameplay, graphics and sounds/music. 10/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As it is an arcade game, I think I can already write a review after 15 minutes of playtime and the first stage done. It is a really cool game that oozes frenetic fun. The whole screen moves with you, the colors depend on both your health and special moments. There's a ton of enemy variety, and it makes you use the movement and combat abilities that the game gives you at its fullest. You have to pay attention in order to check where enemies are, what they're doing and where they're shooting. I…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really enjoyed my first playthough of this game. It has good humor (especially with the austrian language setting), exciting pacing, and refreshing enemy attacks/mechanics. I'll be trying out the harder difficulty and house rules after a break as well
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's fun if your into this kinda stuff
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Such a sweet game. It works perfectly on the Deck. It's very well optimized a d gets 8-9+hrs on battery.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've only played the first level or so but... what an absolute blast this game is!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is crazy under rated its just such a fun boss fight game if you are into bullet hell boss fight type things then you will love this game sure its kinda short with only 9 bosses and sure I only ever use the default gun since its way more consistently good then every other gun but its still fun for those 9 bosses and so what if I only use 1 gun? Point is buy this game its fun and not that expensive
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A Game Boy Color looking shump where you play as a slug that can rotate around the room that each level takes place in. Tough as nails, cute AF, and overall pretty fun. Lots of charm, but definitely not an easy game. A full play through took me nearly 5 hours, and then you unlock an even harder mode which I promptly said 'thanks but no thanks' out loud to. Soundtrack, graphics, and writing are great. Shooting feels good, but I found in most situations the starter weapon was the best choice…
