positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →That thing was too big to be called a sword. Too big, too thick, too heavy, and too rough, it was more like a large hunk of iron.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you’re stepping into Berserk and the Band of the Hawk, just know this isn’t some casual hack and slash you play and forget… this is you carrying the weight of Guts’ rage on your shoulders. From the moment you pick up the Dragon Slayer, the game throws you straight into that brutal Berserk atmosphere war, betrayal, blood, and that constant feeling that the world is completely against you. And somehow, you’re still pushing forward. That’s the real magic here. It feels like Berserk. Yeah,…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I didn't care much for Dynasty Warriors gameplay, but this game lets me use Dragonslayer and somehow get almost up-to-date with the manga. Ended up thoroughly enjoying it, absolutely one of my favorite games, I just wish there was more content.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As a massive fan of the berserk series, I do recommend this. But I would wait like I did for it to go on sale because it isn't worth the worth price. solid game overall and of course this doesn't touch a few sensitive subjects from the manga. I did enjoy running around as Guts hatching and slashing through all my enemies. Also a berserk style dark souls or elden ring game would be perfect.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →God, I want more Berserk games.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you like the anime/manga, you'll like this. Feel like the unstoppable force that is Guts. Definitely worth it on discount. You can also play as a number of other characters as well. Quite enjoying it. I have a few gripes, but none I think really matter in the grand scheme of things so none worth noting.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Dynasty Warriors but you play as and fight Berserk characters. Liking this is a no brainer and those who do not like it do not have a brain.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Holy god this game is boring , playing it just because am a berserk fan
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you just mindlessly like slashing through hordes as guts this is for you, but the game just lacks passion. You're better off emulating the ps2 game I think that's the best Berserk game to play that makes you actually feel like Guts. Other than that if you just wanna play this to turn your brain off and do whatever go for it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →no one seems to understand what a musou game is, of course it is repetitive, but that's the point, get the highest kill count you can get, which I think is great for a Berserk game, I can't think about any other genre for a game about Guts and his power (no, a soulslike game wouldn't work) so I recommend to watch a few gameplays before getting it, and if you're a Berserk fan, I 100% recommend to get it, even at full price
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So, in a strange twist of fate, this game is actually kind of fun. I love Berserk more than most of my family members, and hate Dynasty Warriors about as much as I hate those same family members. "Dynasty Warriors, but Berserk" sounds like it would not be my thing at all but the animations and swings of most characters are a lot more weighty/purposeful than most DW games usually are and make the game feel a lot less mindless. Being able to play as so many different characters was an…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is pretty basic, just mobs of enemys, use your 3-4 combos, and keep running. The game's story mode tries to tell Kentaro Miura's masterpiece, but its like a toddler trying to say the alphabet, you got a few things right, but you mostly butchered it. But its the Berserk IP, so I'll recommend it if its $25 AUD or lower.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love that we got a Berserk game like this. I juts wish we had a few better playable character options. Skull Knight seems too goated not to have playable. I also wish we could play as better apostles than ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Wyald.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →How could I not recommend Berserk?? I can however point out the flaws in this game: 1. It is just a hack and slash. Using an Xbox controller, 95% of the buttons I use are mashing X and Y. 2. If you have not read the manga, you shouldn't play this. They left quite a bit out. I understand not including the Lost Children Arc, but why missing characters? Vargas, Azan, Luca and her girls, Sonia, Roderick, The Count's Human form, his daughter Theresia, and others. While you could say these…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What a horrible, horrible game. I asked for a Berserk game, a simple hack and slash as my favorite characters from my favorite manga. What I got was a slap in the face with a hand full of ♥♥♥♥. This game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ HORRIBLE. Don't let the first couple hours deceive you! Let me write out every single grievance I have for this pile of expired ♥♥♥ and piss that these BASTARDS at Koei Tecmo call at game. Pros: Berk :) Get to be Griffith and Femto Cons: 1) BOSS DESIGN Words cannot express just how…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →the only main issue i have with this game, is that its a pretty solid adaption of the manga with the excpetion of the lost childrens chapters. not being able to play through the lost childrens chapters was lame
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a fun game with a surprising amount of depth. It covers a lot of the Berserk story, far beyond the TV show and movies. So it's a cool way to get into the world of Berserk and learn alot of the story. There's a lot of depth to the gameplay too with RPG like mechanics, leveling, and even customizable builds by way of configuring items with various buffs and attributes. Outside of the main story, theres the Endless Eclipse mode, which offers additional battles and scenarios allowing you to…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game is what it is, Got it on a Steam Sale. Be careful Streaming this on Youtube, Make sure to Skip Cut scenes as they will get your video/Stream blocked.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →After 100 hours, I finished this game 100%. The game was really fun for a hack and slash. Usually, I don’t play Musou games, but I’m a huge Berserk fan, so I went for the 100% completion. Toward the end, it got a bit grindy, especially having to clear the 100 floors of Endless Eclipse with each character, but other than that, it was a lot of fun. The story covers the entire Berserk anime, from season one all the way to season three, and this might be a crazy take, but I think it tells the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →No, the game crashes too much on both my desktop and laptop. Good game but bad optimization
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →PEAK!!! I'm a huge fan of the Berserk franchise and the warrior-style games so this really tickles my brain in such a good way. It's an amazing way to kill some time if you have a few free hours in the day especially with the endless eclipse mode and the collectable Behelits in almost every stage. This game could've stopped at the end of the golden age arc but it truly went above and beyond to tell this story in a new and refreshing way (I should state however that this shouldn't be a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game itself is really cool but you also need to get the mod BerserkFix on Nexus to improve the graphics, thank me later ;)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Musou is boring, gore isn't on point, but its Berserk so it's okay.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →not what i expected but still what i expected. fun slashy game that reminds me of simpler times.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you love Berserk, and you love the idea of slaying thousands of enemies with your favorite characters from the manga, then this game is for you.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →GRIFFIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITH
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i just finished the game today, if your a berserk fan its a must play game fr, the combat system is repetitive but every few couple missions you get more weapons and sup-weapon to try and enjoy, and dont even get me started with the berserker armor, i played the whole 100 layers of the endless eclipse so i can get it and it was 100% WORTH IT, over all the game is very good and im omw to 100% it 9/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →GRRIIFFIITTTHHH!!! In all seriousness though, this game is just another hack in slash. Worth it on sale, not full price. Definitely worth it for all you Berserk fans out there though.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its a mindless hack and slash. But it's berserk so I have to recommend it

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun hack and slash. Youtube the upgrading system. Little confusing but over great. I hope they make a part two for this game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Musou type games will never be my favorite. That aside, I really appreciated this game as someone who just can't get into manga books or anime tv series (sorry, no offense meant to fans) this game gave me an opportunity to finally get a taste of the series that so heavily inspired my favorite games of all time, FromSoft games. I quite enjoyed myself and remember having many literal jaw-dropping experiences thoughout the story!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →worth the money for the griffith and guts yaoi
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The gameplay is simple and mindless, but the story is Berserk. If you are a Berserk fan you will enjoy it
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Griffith fake af
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game includes so much depth to the anime and it is the best adaptation we have seen yet.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Sorta wish there's a middle review option. I do recommend this game if your a fan of berserk and warrior games... however I would say it's lacking in both departments. The animated cutscenes were neat but i'm assuming they are taken off the anime remake as they stop existing half way. if you want the story... literally just go watch that or the OG berserk, it's probably a better telling of it. And the warriors part? It's good at the beginning, but sorta dies down and the scenarios just…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →cant play without a controller
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is actually really fun if you like Berserk, but the constant crashing is starting to get on my nerves. Its a hack and slash game at the end of the day but some fights are actually so stupid. Certain bosses can corner trap you and melt your health bar by spamming attack that stun you and keep you in the corner and they just rinse and repeat the same move. The camera can also work against you in these scenarios so just try and stay away from corners or places you can get blocked in.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's an okay game, depends on your style of gaming, if you like feeling like you are a 1 man army, then its perfect for you. I recommend at least have some background knowledge of Berserk, because having this as your primary source is not wise, besides that, if you like Berserk, you will most likely like this manly because of the IP being Berserk.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →GUTS!!! Nuff said!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For a Berserk-fan it's probably a good purchase, you get to experience the story - especially after getting uncensor patch for it. But as a game, it's boring, repetitive and full of stupid gameplay choises. My favorite thing to hate is when your ally "retreats" and you lose the mission after whacking +2000 boring enemies and repeatedly dealing with a boss who doesn't stay dead. Lack of mouse support doesn't help either, I had to play with a controller, which I pretty much hate.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →if you like Berserk franchise, buy it. it's a simple musou with 8 playable characters, an endless mode and Gatsu (Guts for English speakers), who obliterates everything that moves. there're not so many combo moves you can perform and the enemy variety is poor but in my view it's very enjoyable (especially if you love Berserk and take down big apostles). regarding achievements: if you want to obtain them all, you need some grinding sessions, but it's not so annoying (I like grinding in general…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →English Version (french below) : A cool game, beautiful and the satisfying gameplay you'd expect from a Musou. The music did not particularly hit me but it is the only game that covers most of the manga's arcs. But I do have some problems with the game. Firstly, you control guts for 90% of the game and when you don't, you can clearly see that they are way less satisfying to play because the game was designed in Guts in mind. That makes the gameplay loop kind of repetitive, especially if…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The combat is not enjoyable. You cannot use the mouse. You need to rotate the camera manually. Fightin waves of copy pasted enemies feels liek a chore, like a waste of time, as does this game in general. It looks kinda good, the characters at least, but the level design is poor. I love Berserk, but this game is not worth my time, I have plenty of other better games to play. At least that's how I feel now. Maybe in the future I will give it another chance with the controller. But no where on…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As a Musou lover, this is easily my least favorite Musou game. Story: Good. Follows the golden arc and quite a bit after. If you love the manga you will love the story. Gameplay: While it plays like a classic Musou, its the only Musou that also has gore. Your attacks will dismember and shred enemies and you will feel their bones crunch. It is very satisfying. The main issues: Character selection. 95% of the story mode is all playing as a single character with the same moveset, only changed…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Literally unplayable. Wtf. Keyboard controls don't work and every controller I've plugged in to try won't work either.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →yes game good but the copyright situation is a ♥♥♥♥♥ to enjoy the game to stream or upload so i guess we cant enjoy the game only for youtubers.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →*A LAZY GAME* I gave the game a chance until the end, but unfortunately it fell short. It's definitely not the game that Berserk deserves. Honestly, it has some positive points, such as good character modeling with acceptable graphics, and cool music. But everything else is generic and extremely simplistic. Having read the manga, I was shocked at times by cuts in the story that simply passed by at the speed of a sigh, showing zero depth. The original work is magnificent, so the merit of the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you are a berserk fan its worth a purchase on a steep steam sale, 50% or more... If you are just looking for a good game there are better out there. Gameplay loop is repetitive, it's sweet at first to mow down hordes of enemies with Guts, but on normal difficulty pretty much nothing poses a threat to you and it's just a frantic mashing of attack buttons and dash canceling. I am going to play the crap out of this game because I love berserk and I want to mess around with all the characters…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm pretty sure if you're familiar with how anime games handle the pacing of their stories and the concept of "warriors" games, then you know what you're getting into here. It's decently fun, can get somewhat repetitive. My biggest gripe is how the "120 minutes of animated cutscenes" are actually 60 mins from the 90's berserk anime, and the other 60 are in-game model cutscenes. The whole game does have voice acting however which is something I didn't expect but am pleasantly surprised with.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →if you play on STEAM DECK USE Protron experimental works Great 30 FPS but later missions dont play the videos cutscenes
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Upon watching the show Berserk a while back, I grew very attached to it. It was cool, it had depth and the idea of a single man fighting 100 men with a sword that's larger than himself (I believe) was downright awesome. See, once I had seen this game, I knew I had to eventually play it. It was without a doubt, exactly what I hoped for. A battle simulator where you can play as 4/5 of my favourite characters, notably one being Guts. I would highly recommend this game to anyone and it goes without…
