It's just so funny for a movie about I Love Lucy to claim Desi Arnaz fled Cuba's Communist revolution, which didn't happen until after I Love Lucy ended. I don't mean to go all CinemaSins here, but that seems like a MAJOR error.

Sorkin was exactly the wrong person to make it because he knows how to explain a joke, not how to tell it. You'd never know I LOVE LUCY was funny by watching Sorkin's film.

Especially since they had the perfect casting right there with Nina Arianda as Vivian Vance. Still. My mistake. This thing is one of Sorkin’s best.

As ever, it has Sorkin's trademark dialogue - quickly paced, pithy at times; but somehow the performances just didn't catch fire.
