When we had a successful boarding action roll in BFG, we switched to Zone Mortalis to play out the result. If the boarders won, they inflicted the crit without rolling. #WarhammerCommunity #Nerdlings #HorusHeresy

The game itself is very good so if you are in W10 buy it =) and if you are on W11 you can follow what .Dracomir wrote in his review: [quote=.Dracomir]Right click the game in your steam library, general and put the following into launch options: "YOURDRIVELETTER:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Battlefleet Gothic Armada II\BattlefleetGothic2\Binaries\Win64\BattlefleetGothic2-Win64-Shipping.exe" -NoEAC %COMMAND% Modify…

We had a great time, and I got to see these incredible T'au merchant fleet models. We'll be starting a campaign soon! #Nerdlings #BattlefleetGothic

unlabelledView post →For those suffering under Win 11 due to easy anti cheat the following method worked for me on at least making single player work. Right click the game in your steam library, general and put the following into launch options: "YOURDRIVELETTER:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Battlefleet Gothic Armada II\BattlefleetGothic2\Binaries\Win64\BattlefleetGothic2-Win64-Shipping.exe" -NoEAC %COMMAND% Modify the path as needed and obviously replace YOURDRIVELETTER: with, well, your drive letter eg.: C:…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Would love to recommend this game, but I can't get it to boot because I have Hardware-enforced Stack Protection on my computer which prevents its Easy Anti-Cheat drivers from embedding in my system's kernel (which no piece of third party software should ever have to do!). Games with newer versions of the EAC drivers (like Space Marine 2 and Fortnite) have figured out a way to allow the software to run while Stack Protection is still turned on, but the developers of BG:A2 haven't updated the…

unlabelledView post →Last night saw a return to our regular Battlefleet Gothic nights. Here the Invasion of Lavinia was played out - after systematically clearing out all the Tau ships, the Imperium make a coordinated rush on the powerful space station defending the planet, let by the Battleship St. Gaven.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game, loved it when I played it a few years ago. That being said, I cannot run it without EasyAntiCheat even for single player ( -NoEAC in the launch options does not seem to work anymore ), so I cannot recommend it. I just want to play the game by myself, offline. Hell, idk if anyone is even playing multiplayer of a niche, single-player focused, 7 year old game at this point. Why the hell do I need a kernel-level anticheat for that??
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Brace for impact! Great game of Battlefleet Gothic down at the club tonight. I demo'd the game for one of my mates using my new fleets - they enjoyed it enough to want to play it again so that's a definite win!
unlabelledView post →By way of example, the controls and responsiveness of, say, Battlefleet Gothic: Armada would feel *horrible* in a flight-sim (ask EVE players...) but BFG:A is a tactics game with a tactical-semi-pause, so it feels fine. It's not absolute speed and precision, but S&P relative to the game's demands.
unlabelledView post →Beware if you have a gaming computer, this game is incompatible with the newer graphics cards. I've tried it on 2 different machines and it simply crashes and closes shortly after boot up on both of them. I Googled the issue and it is apparently well known. Probably why it's currently on sale so cheap. It's been like this since it's release so I guess there are no plans to fix it. Too bad, looks like a fun game. Update: I found a fix on Google: OpenSSL Fix (Most Common): Right-click the game…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game, good follow-up from the 1st title. The reason why i'm giving it a negative review is because the game has been abandoned and current game-breaking/crashing bugs have been a major problem and have been for many years. Abandoned, dead game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Super cinematic game of Battlefleet Gothic last night. A Chaos fleet carrying Hell-Dog reinforcements launched a surprise attack on the planet of Scia. However, Imperial Navy and Iron Angel defenders were quick to respond, defeated chaos and in doing so secured the planet. #warhammercommunity
unlabelledView post →I really liked this game back in the day, tried to replay it but it just freezes over and over and none of the fixes worked. Utterly disapointed with Focus for not keeping this game alive.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Don't buy this if you have a newer computer. It doesn't appear to work. There are some fan made "fixes" posted in the forums that potentially modify Windows, and as someone who doesn't know enough to even be dangerous, I'm unwilling to trust random fixes on the internet when the developers can't be bothered. I enjoyed the game when I purchased it new 7 years ago. I would buy the DLC if it worked.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I don't usually give bad reviews for bugs because they get fixed eventually.. except for this one. A uniquely low standard of dev support, refusing to fix game breaking bugs. Tindalos and Focus.. you are blacklisted.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The negative reviews lately were of the game crashing on newer PCs, which was indeed disheartening. But do not fret, it's time to rejoice and praise the Omnissiah, because the fix had been found. - either by adjusting launch parameters: https://steamcommunity.com/app/573100/discussions/0/4291439538014270743/ - or changing the registry keys: https://steamcommunity.com/app/573100/discussions/0/3196993316877456645/ I tried the latter and it worked.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game can't be played anymore 5 crash even before being able to reach the launch button of a game on the main screen. The game used to work, not anymore. 6 years ago i played it on a simple laptop, so it's not a question of hardwar performance but something that is broken or outdated Game dead until any patch + Ultra instrusive anti cheat for a mostly solo game, whit half the achievement made for multiplayer, while the game is the most unbalanced mess you will ever meet, where i can't…

unlabelledView post →Cant recommend it, a recent issue makes this unplayanble on newer CPUs even tho its not even that old of a game, and is unlikly to be patched, your gonna be buying a game that wont even be playable unless you do a spicific patch on your system which is unacceptable
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I can't even play a game that I bought with my own money because I have Windows 11 and the developers are too lazy to update their anti-cheat. I literally can't get passed the main menu screen without the game crashing and the multitude of game fixes for working around the anti-cheat do not work. Do not buy if you got windows 11 0/10 game, I want my money back
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Evokes fond memories of when Lexicanum claimed Nurgle came first, which was something someone just Made Up years and years earlier, and it became such an ingrained assumption that even the official Battlefleet Gothic game assumed it was true.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have been completely unable to even boot up the game due to the anticheat clashing with the stack protection, i spent hours trying to fix this issue without disabling it without any success. As much as i liked this game from what i saw about it in other places i cant recommend it unless you want to disable security features for this one game Edit: So after a few months i decided to try to make it work again, and i found a command that made me able to run the game, but i now have an issue…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Played a game of Battlefleet Gothic today. A battle between the Imperium and Orks. The orks tore through my fleet, but the Emperor-Class Battleship came through in the end, then we switched to Kill Team to play out the battle within the ships. #warhammercommunity #killteam #miniaturepainting

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The cover of White Dwarf 139 had the box art for 'Space Fleet' - which would turn out to be a forrunner of Battlefleet Gothic. In terms of the core Warhammer 40,000 Game - 1991 would see the release of ‘Warhammer 40,000: Compilation’ which was a collection of articles from White Dwarf.
unlabelledView post →Great game RUINED by silly anti cheat software that cause no end of issues. Crashes my PC regularly. Won't start if you disable it. EAC is an appalling choice and Il probably avoid any releases that use it in the future. The game itself is great fun but feels like rushed it out. ALOT of janky interfaces poor fed back lazy campaign writing and bizarre difficulty spikes in odd places. So much potential but poor execution. Stinks of a crunch rush to pack it out the door. I don't feel the love…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game crashes almost immediately after launching. I tried to check if all the game files are good. I reinstalled the game and the video card drivers. Nothing helped. I see many comments similar to mine. So we can conclude that this is a massive problem, not just mine.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I went through the effort of fixing what the dev won't only to find that I have absolutely no idea wtf is going on in this game; it's a sluggish and unresponsive experience piled onto by micromanagement that seems both necessary and entirely unimpactful. The game explains next to nothing about the roughly 12 thousand systems involved and a couple hours in now, I still have absolutely no idea what I'm doing or meant to be doing. A pretty game, but imo that's where the value starts and stops.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Regularly crashes and fails to work. Not impressed! This game has gotten progressively worse over its lifespan. At least there is now a fix for one of the issues, I am waiting to see if the other one I faced turns up again! But so far, so good! However. No game should be like that, how it was for me closer to its original time. Yeah, with my new system there's other reasons for some of the crashes but. It's. Not. Good. that a game has had issues like this for so long. Not impressed.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game doesn't work, crashes constantly a few minutes in. This is apparently a problem for everyone with modern CPUs (despite the game only being 9 years old, and the problem popping up only a couple years after release), and the solution seems to involve entering command lines to change my PC's system variables. Kind of a big ask for me to alter OS variables in order to play I game I paid for instead of just *fixing the bug that popped up a couple years after release*. Either release a patch or…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nothing but crashes, completely unplayable
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Hey...The game's mid and will never leave 5 out of 10 because the devs abandoned it after releasing the chaos dlc. They LITERALLY could've milked to hell and back with campaign dlcs for all the races but nope. 1 dlc and jumped ship. The core problem IS the AI itself. Its either really good or piss poor.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Played some Battlefleet Gothic for the first time yesterday. Fun game! LOTS of dice rolling though, the ordinance phase is just rolls on rolls lol
unlabelledView post →Game keeps crashing within 5 minutes of starting it. Tried the standard fixes like updating drivers and starting the game as administrator. Didnt work. Cant be bothered to try the more complex fixes, since it shouldnt be my job to get the game into a playable state.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game didn't even load for me, I tried about 6 fixes for this game for my issues but I never got past the main menu
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game keeps crashing. Sometimes I can get through a battle, sometimes it'll crash and freeze my whole computer. It's very frustrating & it's clearly affecting a lot of people. I'm playing on a fairly new PC with AMD hardware and Windows 11. It used to work fine on my old Windows 10 PC. My PC is running other games just fine. I'll change this review to positive if the developers fix it because I like the game, I just can't play it anymore!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bought it on sale to play it on steam deck because a friend wanted to play it coop and i was like «why not» So you need to finish some missions to be abel to start the coop. However ghen we realized that EAC is blocking me from playing the coop. But i had allready too much play time to get a refund. So thank you for nothing It is an ok game. But my intention was to play with a friend and for me the game is not that great. Please fix that! Tl;dr Game okayish Multiplayer not working on…

But for me the game ran smooth as water. 0 Issues / 0 crashes / 0 lag ___________________ Glory for the Emperor. I just finished the IMperium campaign and there are 3 more!!!!!! unlabelledView post →Coming back to this game many years later after getting frustrated and quitting the first time around, and have run into exactly the same issues again. The single player campaign is badly balanced. It assumes you are going to try and cheese every fight through kiting and abusing the (very bad) AI. So it throws ridiculous numbers of enemy ships at you to compensate for the lack of intelligent play from the computer. This makes every fight a horrendous slog at best. The boarding system also…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Literally just bought this game and have loaded it up 3 times now for it to crash within 30 seconds each time. Can't even load the tutorial/prologue mission
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Crash to Desktop. Editing the files may work for some, but you shouldnt have to do the devs job for them, and pay them for the game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Look, they made that series of intro games for straight people back in thr early 90s. Not a massive success. Although you could argue that Spacefleet helped to develop ideas for GWs most intensely homoerotic game: Battlefleet Gothic.
unlabelledView post →Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2 is a strange sequel because it improves several things from the first game while making the overall experience more frustrating the longer I played it. I gave the first game a 5/10, mainly because of its slow pacing and impractical interface, and I expected the sequel to take those problems and build something better around them. In some areas it does, but after finishing the Imperial campaign and trying another faction, I came away feeling that the game expanded…
