I would say that the title of the game is a bit missleading, since it really isn't as much of an automization as it is a puzzle game. You don't get to automate any process. All this game is: You get a task of products to produce in a specific timespan. This you have to accomplish with a set amount of generating resources. But, you also have to cram it all into a tight space. And it also has…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Factorio/Satisfactory as a Zachtronics, without retreading Infinifactory. If that sentence made any sense to you, just buy this game — it's exactly what you think, and extremely polished. And like the aforementioned games, you don't even need to finish it to get your money's worth, hence this early review.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun game. Don't expect Factorio levels of automation - as advertised it's more of a puzzle game than anything else (focusing on using the least machines, conveyors and space), but it's ideal for those people like me who want to make something that works but are slightly intimidated by the sheer scale of the likes of Factorio. I'd probably compare it more to the likes of Opus Magnum.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is quite literally if Factorio was a puzzle game. ...That's it. That's my entire description. If you like Factorio's logistical elements, you'll like this. If you didn't, you won't. And if you haven't played Factorio, play that first. There's nothing else you need to know. Anyway, as for me personally? This game was basically made for me. So yeah, 10/10, possibly my GOTY.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's very late minute, but I'm making it to the purple TV this week! Going to be playing a couple small games, starting with Automate It! A combination of Factorio-like automation gameplay with the Zachtronics optimisation puzzling? See you at 8.30 PM GMT+2 / 2.30 EDT! twitch.tv/jaybirbgames
unlabelledView post →Linear optimization: the video game. Very fun, certainly challenging. It's clear that a lot of thought went into the 3D building system, something that’s not easy to pull off, especially when working across all three axes. I know how tough it can be to make such a system intuitive and responsive, and the developers did a fantastic job here. Other devs (maybe even the VR/AR industry which also faces this issue frequently) could honestly learn from how well this was handled. Controls are…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It tickles the tism
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is perhaps one of the most challenging factory/puzzle games I've ever played. You will lose hours upon hours, and every epiphany moment will make it more than worth it. For those wondering, I did receive this product for free because I was part of the playtests leading up to release. Before that, I had already put in hundreds of hours. This is the best factory game I've ever played.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Factories are satisfactory-esque, but self-contained as optimization puzzles. Histograms, global leaderboards, gallery. Nice environments. Full recommend for fans of optimization puzzlers.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a puzzle game with a factory theme. It's pretty close in feel to Zachtronics games. Space is cramped, and you have a limited budget for machinery. Your machine also needs to complete within a set time limit. The problem is that the restrictions are too tight. I got totally fed up with getting a solution that worked, but which was still a failure because I used too many parts or didn't complete the solution on time. Instead of enjoying myself, I was frustrated and angry with the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is my favourite automation game so far. I love building factories but I hate how every game devolves into "deliver 25,000 duralinum hyper widgets". Automate It solves that problem for me by focusing on building smaller factories with a focus on speed and efficiency. I know it won't be for everyone, but I really reccomend giving it a shot if you enjoy automation or puzzle games.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Factory builder but in puzzle levels works so well here. Instead of gigantic megaprojects that feel daunting to even take on in other factory games, this one breaks the experience into tightly scoped levels with focused production goals. There's new mechanics to learn as you progress (both explicit and hidden ones), which also gives you reason to go back to old levels with new tricks and optimization in mind. Each level also has the usual histograms and metrics leaderboard, and it works great…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Automate It combines the gameplay characteristics of Polybridge and a factory game. You play short to medium length levels to convert given resources into other resources via a factory. You are constrained by building space, 'energy' for your factory, and time limits (though these requirements may be disabled). After completing a level, you can compete on leaderboards in various categories and gain points on an overall global board. You may also create your own levels and play others levels.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I can see i'm going to love this. I like the challenge of a factory game but not the time investment that most require. A few challenges in and I can see i'm really going to like trying to perfect things in this game. I normally wouldn't review with so little game time but the EULA is amazingly short and reasonable. Guess what happens if you decline it? Your scores don't go online and you still play the game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There's no way to learn, if your solution doesn't work I have no idea how to get it smaller or use less power, not a single one of my solutions have been under the power requirement. It needs the Polly Bridge feature of loading in other peoples solutions because the screenshots alone don't educate me. Sometimes the machines don't work and I have no idea if it's a bug or something I've done wrong. World 2 level 5 I can't even physically complete let alone get 5 starts. Call it a skill issue all…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Highly recommended factory game experience. Creating stand-alone puzzles (with clear goals and ranking) instead of a big factory helps to create a fun, rewarding experience with every puzzle completion, leaving the spaghetti mess behind 😄
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →lack of creative freedom, game enforces min maxing and doesnt allow for flexibilty of ways to solve problems
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is a little gem. A fantastic blend of small-scale optimisation, puzzle-solving and automation. Love it!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Needs settings to increase font size, change font color and/or background color. The current color scheme is quite bad in my eyes, and the tiny font size makes it very hard to read.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The Factory must Grow! but with leaderboards!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is pretty awesome, so far I need to learn more but very cool
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Automate It: Factory Puzzle by South Blue Moon and published by Forklift Interactive presents a compelling blend of puzzle-solving and factory-building mechanics that both challenge and reward players’ creativity. At its core, the game revolves around designing efficient automated production lines using conveyor belts, machinery, and various logistical tools. This focus on industrial automation tasks players with carefully planning and optimizing their layouts to meet specific objectives, all…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →HMMMM yes. Me like funny belt game about not only building but building efficient layout. Going for 5 stars has been reasonablely difficult on the first 10 levels. There is also different leader board for each level with power, time, space taken into account so you can play to your favorite style.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →YAWN. First section poses it as a fun, casual puzzle game. Then the alt recipes come in and you realize this game consists only of all the least fun aspects of Satisfactory. If you're the sort of person who played Satisfactory with a spreadsheet up on your second monitor, you will enjoy this game - though I could point you to a number of data entry and logistics jobs which would scratch the same itch. For everyone else, the enjoyment is short-lived past the first section. Also, for me this…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm losing way too much sleep because of this game. But it feels so good every time I find some little change that can make my build slightly more efficient. And how am I supposed to sleep knowing that just a few more adjustments will push me up to #1 on the rankings?
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →great puzzle game!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Well. I take it all back. Reinstall with updated graphics drivers. Removed all winetricks and protontricks. Hosed my old .winecfg. Now ti works!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is an excellent logic puzzle game. Experimenting and implementing to then refine your methods to get that extra bit efficiency out of it. Different solutions to try and learn from. Very addictive game. A lot of replay value. I recommend this game if you enjoy thinking and problem solving.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I think it's a good game, but it's full on puzzle oriented experience and I'm a little too stupid for this. I'm still very early into the game and I'm already struggling in getting 5 stars (1-8 level really got me stuck). It is still somewhat fun so I will play it more, but I can see me facing a wall in world 2 (out of 5) where I can't progress anymore, unless I look up a solution.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is the game I never knew I needed. This game scratches the optimization itch I have when playing any game that includes automation. Here, it’s taken to the next level as the puzzles are so simple to understand, yet they really make you think hard to get a good solution. Even after you beat a level, you are encouraged to go back and continue finding ways to make your solution faster or more efficient. At the end of it, once you optimize as far as you possibly can, there’s an immense sense…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you enjoy Factorio, Mindustry, or Satisfactory, but wanted puzzle solving instead of combat or survival, then this is the game for you. Be prepared to get creative with your min-maxing of resource efficiency, because it will be needed to get full marks!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really love the puzzle+logistic concept, also the leaderboard and the screenshoot from solved level are a perfect idea so you can try to optimize more or find help from other user if you are stuck on a level
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I picked up Automate It, thinking it would be a simple puzzle game, but it turned out to be much more complex. Each level presents new challenges, and instead of just solving easy riddles, you're building intricate automation setups to meet specific goals. Finding the right flow and timing get's my brain woking!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The levels are harder than I expected, but it's sooo satisfying when you finish one with a good score!

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Te fact that I can't see how many items a machine processes from the buying screen was completely infuriating so I refunded the game
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun puzzle/automation game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great little factory puzzler, though the music gets repeditive and could do with dark mode
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice looking puzzle game for $10-$13. It's not a Factorio/Satisfactory replacement by any means, but it's a nice little math puzzle.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of the best games I've played in a long time. Its a bit like Factorio but is shorter puzzles so you dont end up with a spaghetti mess a few hours in. I also love the rankings and being able to spend time on the same puzzle to get the most efficient solution and quickest time. Even better is that you dont have to do that and if a level annoys you, you can just complete and move onto the next.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Level 1 Tutorial: Build a Splitter <Builds splitter and nothing happens> .... Game also crashed twice within my 20 minutes of playtime. I would love to play this game as I really enjoyed Infinifactory but it seems to need more time to cook. I may try it again in the future if it gets additional patches.
