Controlling jets is easy but finishing the game is a challenge because there should be a whole other level of difficulty when you get through the stages over stages like rogue-like. A fusion system provides a strategical move and it is a fun part of mixing great old arcade + new interpretation. I will keep playing it time to time.

If your ship takes damage, you can switch it out for another ship you find during gameplay, BUT you'll have to level it up again if you switch. Awesome risk vs reward system going on. It also feels really modern while staying true to the old school roots of the genre. The controls are super smooth and they really couldn't be more responsive. Also, the leaderboard system really gets me on to get better record since I can compare with other players. It is really hard to resist from not playing it once it is started.

The player can choose the difficulty and when I tried normal, it was pretty easy for the first few stages but it gets harder and challenging. I would recommend this game for players who would enjoy for short breaks.

I would definitely recommend the game to my friends. There is a leaderboard at the end, the scores from other countries can be viewed and that was one thing that made me play over and over again.

Beautiful bullet patterns, and the fusion system for changing your ship out is unique and strategic: Do you hang onto your powered up ship with only one point of shield left, or do you dump it in favor of a level one ship at full health...
