60 of 86 · most liked first118 minutes to clear, grinded a bit wow that was short... but very good on the other hand. To be fair it has some replay value with the other char so its maybe 4 hours to clear both. Good game a bit pricey to me.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ash Warden is another game with awful, nonsensical user tags, so part of this review is going to be me ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about them again. Having played this game to completion, I can tell you Ash Warden is: - NOT a clicker - NOT an idler - NOT survival - NOT story rich. what game was the person who tagged that playing? it wasn't this one. - NOT Roguelite oh my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ god, stop. Not everything is 'rogue'. Its gotten worse than the 'omg this is the dark souls of (insert blank)!' retarded casuals and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Even when you "do everything right" certain enemies wander outside the target zone and you watch your towers slowly die while your character whifs at thin air. Don't get wowed by the pretty pixel graphics, this game is mid and the bugs destroy any sense of mediocre fun that could be had.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have a lot of reasons to dislike this game. Which is a shame, because it's genuinely a cool idea for a game, it's just poorly executed. Firstly, I got it in a bundle with a bunch of incremental games, which this is not. Actually, the user tags for this game are way off. Tower Defense? Well... not really, you have to defend the towers actually. Incremental? Again, not really, I don't know how I would explain what this game is, kinda like a top down ARPG(Think Diablo, but without the gearing),…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →genuinely - I'm 90% certain this is AI slop. First of, how the attack range is coded is super weird. Certain towers have lower attack range than others simply because sprites attack other sprites and not because an enemy is at position xy. That means in practice that certain towers (seems to be always be the lower right one for enemy spawn reasons) are outranged by enemies because their sprite goes _upwards_ like creatures standing on 2 legs usually do. Means the upper towers have an advantage,…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Currently, as of 12/03/2026, i don't think this game is worth a buy even though it has some potential. The artwork, environments, atmosphere and feel of the game is great... but the depth and content is just not there. I played this game during the open demo period that had 3 levels and 1 character, it was really short, lasting only 10-15minutes but it was really fun. It was then that i put it on my wishlist and decided that i would play it once it was released. Upon release, the content…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A fun little incremental game, I'm enjoying it a lot :) Devs have put a lot of heart into it
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its not good at all. Feels unbalanced and the enemies can out range the swordsman, so if you don't choose a counter or active skill, well, enjoy the softlock.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's definitely on the short side, but the positive reviews are there for a reason. There's a good base here for a longer game, so the devs should definitely look into expanding it for a potential sequel.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I enjoyed it! A bit short, but I like that I could finish it without exorbitant amount of grinding and move on!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There are upgrades that will softlock you if you don't take them fast enough, there is no respeccing from what I can see, the 80 minutes I have played ended up in a softlock (the last 10 minutes of which was trying to luck my way out of it to no avail.) I saw the negative reviews and specifically picked a range upgrade but I should've picked one with more range apparently
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I can't recommend this game. The progression isn't so appealing, You only have 1 active skill button and it doesn't even function half the time because the click prioritizes picking targets and teleporting over actually using the skill. The upgrades are few and the meaningful ones are far between. There are only 8 stages that are just different configurations of about 3 unique looking ones. currencies are split into small / elite / bosses, but you only get 1 boss currency total per stage of…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ranged enemies on day 3 are un killable. I think the dev should have tested a bit more or made it possible to respec... Currently blocked and can't play any longer
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Played the demo and really liked it. Purchased the game für 6€ in sale, because the low price. Finished the game basicly in 90 minutes with one character and games over. I like the music, the artstyle and gameplay but its not enough to warrant more then 3€ at most compared to other games. 10€ is a ripoff.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a tower defense game with a large upgrade tree that never has you feeling powerful. It usually feels like I'm targeting and shooting into mud somehow, despite all the effects. Art style is the biggest positive. Sound effects are mid and defeating enemies lacks impact. The levels being different waves on the same map with slight variations in tower placement means it's tedious. The gameplay is mostly fine except that charge shots often don't register because you're clicking on an enemy…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →+ 20 minutes before I ran into a 'must grind to proceed past this boss' situation. To advance, I need to grind 5 more minutes and buy the node that deals +50% dmg to boss, duh. + Aesthetically pleasant, but no way to disable all those tiny animations and otherwise speed things up. It's not really readable. + Rounds start at 90s, I think, much longer than the usual 20-30s for similar genres. And so much of that initial time is just waiting for the SLOW enemies to approach. Overall after 20…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The artwork, atmosphere and feel of the game is really cool, even the gameplay is fun, but the depth of the game is really lacking. There are 8 levels and 2 characters (not swappable). Aproximatelly 1 hour per character and it's not really a big difference on them or the levels, it feels really grindy and repetitive (you get something different 7 times), I do not recommend it if this is everything in the game. It even would be more enjoyable as an idle game, because there is no strategy on…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As of right now this game is too short and too limiting. The concept is good tho.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Boring. Not for me.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is fun and has a lot of potential, but way too short for its price! You have 8 days or levels to play through, thats it. Took me 2 hours of actual game time to get there. After that... well, you do it again with a different set of skills since you can´t use all of them in one run. But thats not really interesting since there are no challenges or changes in the waves. Even the second character just has a few different skills, but the waves stay the same. Played the demo and had…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bugged, booring, too short and never really reaching the point of OPnes I'd like to get on these kind of games. Enemies standing next to my tower killing it and me not beeing able to reach them with my sword was the last straw for me to write this review. I mean wtf is this sh*t!?!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wtf game full of bugs, I couldn't even finish the first day, everything just stopped working when wave8 came, please fix the game
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Update 9/5/2026: With the announcement of their next game, I redownloaded the game to see if my issue was resolved. It is not. I still cannot play the game I paid for and the dev's have not responded. Update 7/25/2026: Downloaded a patch today, but issue not resolved. Still cannot play game. Update 7/19/2026: Game will still not launch It is nice for an incremental activity. My issue is I had a power outage mid-run with the archer after having completed it with the swordsman. When the power…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →bit boring, all you do is jump from tower to tower to have your character auto battle the spawning enemies. that's it. that's all. Rinse and repeat with a second character as replay value
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →- love the gameplay - no bugs for me but the enemies do sometimes stand outside of the area and they won't come closer unless i move elsewhere and come back. not sure if that's a bug or part of the gameplay - love the art. the music on that upgrades menu is amazing - love how the skill/upgrade tree looks like as well. reminds me of some really wonderful rpg games
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →nice game to have in the background... i'd mark him as a 3-4 dollar game tho.. abit overpriced atm
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very good game, but also very short. Idk if i did it very fast but 60 minutes seems a bit lackluster for its price. I didn't play with the 2nd character yet but im hoping for updates for more lore, new characters etc. All in all a short but fun game, keep it up
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is very good and enjoyable; I liked the last two levels the most. It’s definitely worth the price, although I’ve only finished it with the first character so far—though thanks to the demo I already had some experience with it :D. A downside is that it might be a bit short; it could be expanded further.🙄
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun but super short
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a very well put together Tower Defense game. I enjoy how each upgrade makes you feel very powerful. I don't like how each stage cannot be completed without a lot of grinding, which means no amount of skillful playing will allow you to succeed earlier than intended.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There isn't, really, much to this game. 2 heroes, 8 boss arenas. For the first 5 arenas there is pattern to monster movement, the last 3 they move at random and you have to plug the holes, understaffed. Also, you will have to repeat the levels a lot, as you are always far too weak to complete the level 1st time. And the 8th boss has so much health.... I am not really sure, if it's possible to beat it with Mele hero + normal attack + lightning. At full upgrades I didn't see it's hp bar…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →In the middle of the game the attacker just stands there and doesn't move. Of course you can't reach him. Even using special abilities doesn't help because it0s health just stays there.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very meh. No one likes the right side of the skill tree. If you really really really want it get this on sale i guess? Its not horrible but very very skippable and THERE IS NOTHING IDLE ABOUT THIS GAME so not sure why theres an "idler" tag here.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun game, however is lacking in content
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pros: Gameplay loop is very satisfying and the leveling up system is fun to use. Animations and art are gorgeous. I had a fun time playing, which I think should be the goal of any video game. Cons: This game desperately needs an upgrade to the sound design during the actual combat phase. Not to say that there are no sound effects, there certainly are, but they're lacking a certain crunch to them that would make the attacks feel so satisfying. I'm not really an expert so I can't really explain…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Too short, once you're done with your uprgades, it's already over. Interesting concept though.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is fun and challenging though I think it needs some polishing. My only complaint that sticks with me would be the animation of your mouse where when you are collecting crystals it changes to a hand instead of a crosshair. This interrupts the ability to charge attack. not if you are already charging an attack, but the ability to start a charge attack. on the later stages this lead to many of my failures. yes there are skill issues on my side but, if the developers change this i would be…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is a really funny game which gives back the memory of trial and error times in old games back... when I was young. Damn I am old. But this game is young... and makes a lot of fun. You can play very relaxed and... I seriously do not know what the story is besides I kill demons and shoot them to bits and rince and repeat it until I easily finish them off to just go to the next day and become obliterated, well my towers are, and then getting stronger, researching stuff and improving my mass…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Took me 2 hours to beat the game, I bought this game because it was listed under idler, so I was expecting a long ass grind. My mistake for not actually checking if it's really an idler. Game is somewhat fun tho, but way too short!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice game. Polish art and good soundtrack. A bit short but enough for my weekend. Hope dev releases more characters and contents in the next update
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Interesting game, but might need more content
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Hey man, I really like the art direction and the way you present the visuals and effects in the game — they look really cool and feel very effective. Respect for that. The gameplay is simple but still quite fun. That said, I think it could be even more engaging if players had more things to do during gameplay instead of mainly moving between towers and performing basic attacks. You might want to consider expanding that a bit. I also especially like your skill tree system. The way you designed…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →hit game breaking bug twice within first 10 minutes, literaly unplayable
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Right now I haven't 100% this game just yet but so far it seems that basically half of the game is unplayable. Let me explain... There are two classes. Archer and some kind of knight or whatever. Archer is aight but the knight is where all the problems are. Hitboxes in this game are made very poorly and considering that that the knight has much lower range than archer there are so many instances of enemies just standing outside of your range hitting tower outside of their range.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pick it up when on discount, worth the side tangent. I didnt finish it bcs it did not catch me, but it was a interesting experience and new idea for once :3
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good but shortish. Hopefully dev will add more levels / more classes / a randomizer or endless mode at some point in the future, but I'm happy with what I got for $7.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ash Warden a fairly new concept of tower defense, where your focus is upgrading the hero who will stand on the tower you are protecting. There currently two heroes to choose from a melee sword who slash and a single heavy damage archer. There total of 8 levels and each level have a numbers of wave you have to defeat before the level boss appeared. There are no death penalty in this game, you are free to farm the resources to upgrade your skills path. The pixel art is what draw me to try out…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice game, a bit short. There would be much to add on top of this, hope they do.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A nicely thought out tower defense game! The skill tree works well to facilitate your climb through the levels, the movement mechanics are neat and tidy, what's not to love? What a cozy weekend game to pick up, this one is well worth your time if you're into tower defenses. Also, the pixel graphics + music are great.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i love the game a loot but there one thing that bother me is the grind i was tring to buy all the skill after i finish the main game but man the time i see will cost me for that maybe 20+ hour if you cost the other chracter but anyway if i just talk about the main game i love ot and i love to give the game a chanse <3
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its an okay game, I recommend getting it on discount. It feels rather slow but the progression is good. The limited resources and good progression does allow different strats. I found the second character/class easier. It is limited to 8 waves/worlds and then you go on a leader board. It does have endless mode.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →At the start, you are locked in a grinding loop which is slow and tedious. Beside that, cool pixels art. I liked the visual a lot. Would recommend as a slight incremental but not as an Idler.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →worth for the money a small game with very nice concept if the developer can add on it with some more interesting attacks and mechanics an some balancing to not be so spamy in endless mode will be a very very good game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Extremely dull and uninteresting gameplay. Wave spawns aren't even randomised so each run is identical and you're grinding for +1% stat increases from the very start. Feels very lazy and uninspired. Everything about this game also has that generative AI stink on it. The art appears pretty decent at first glance but you start to notice all those weird illogical inconsistencies you always get with AI. The story and text lore is also just vague generic fantasy prose that has no real substance and…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really find this game to be a hidden gem. At first I wasn't impressed, the tower switching was clunky, until I figured out it was something you needed to upgrade and use strategically. Then the meta-currency system kicked in, and it is something fresh and fun. Each time you clear a wave you get a token that unlocks one of eight special power upgrades. These each unlock their own tree that not only has upgrades for the specific power, but general upgrades that apply to all skills. When…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bug won't let me complete the round. I guess ♥♥♥♥ this game til it's fixed. I'll come back and change review.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really liked the look and gameplay of the game! Hope more content will be added
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like this game. The lore is interesting, the art is neat, and the abilities feel helpful. Enemy stats jump quite a bit from day to day, but as long as you're keeping up with the damage and ward upgrades you will be ok. Base game isn't very long, but there are two characters to play as and once you've beaten the game you unlock endless mode. There's probably 5 or 6 hours of content, more if you really get into the endless mode. Even at full price the game is worth it. However, I really wish…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I enjoyed this quite a bit more than I thought. The game isn't that long, and it's all about exponentially increasing the power of your hero as you defend towers from endless enemy spawns. Pretty simple, no story, but very satisfying progression. There is a really solid base here for a larger game overall, but it only took me around 7 hours to 100% it, and that is with idle time. Well worth the cost on sale.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →didn't expect this game to be good enough to complete it 3 times. Really nice
