When you can save your run and start a new run from that save point its not a rogue-lite anymore. It is very casual with almost no difficulty so far. The only difficult option I have seen is to make it even easier. There is a mechanic where time passes as you move making enemies stronger. On the surface, it looks like the standard deckbuilder roguelite with the lane based combat, but the Big Idea is that many of the cards in your deck will give a permanent buff that will last until the end of the run. So every encounter you're balancing winning with self-buffing to make yourself strong enough to handle the next one. It's a novel gimmick that I've not seen elsewhere and it adds a lot of fun.

Stat buff are capped, cards don't shuffle back into deck and you have game damage to get cards to play after running out.
