There's something satisfying about the crunch, and then the magic flavour dust assaults your tastebuds. This game, my friends, is junkfood. I'm not saying it's bad, but it's best to have just every now and again. It's not really a deep game, it's deeply silly, and it's kind of basic. You're not going to impress the in-laws. But it's *fun* in short doses and that's the whole point. This thing basically plays like a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Abandoned or you need to be on discord... It has the potential to be great but sadly left in a bit of a mess. Also some of the weapons and chars make no sense. A lot of weapons makes you jump around with some weird animations making them uncontrollable. Though the game has some great innovating ideas like you can upgrade weapons by scrapping others and you can merge/fuse heroes to take advantaged of both of their abilities. Sadly very few abilities are any good. There is no real meta upgrades…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Had a quick play of this since the video looks amazing. But there is one glaring weakness that makes playing this game not enjoyable. Let's start with the good: + This is a Bullet Heaven game, the concept is nice, there is a story (only started it, but it looks ok) + There are objectives aside from survival (which is good) + I played one character so far and the weapon variety and its tooltips are nice to see. Now for the glaring weakness: - The damn auto aim, this is not an FPS,…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Apocalypse Party is a 3D top-down roguelike/twin-stick shooter. It blends chaotic bullet-hell combat with absurd character builds and light multiplayer (up to 3 players). Over 500 talents, 60+ weapons, and 20+ ultimates allow wild combos—from riding a cop car to wielding a “sphincter shotgun”. Easy to pick up: choose a character, grab weapons and talents, wipe hordes, repeat. Many enjoy its simplicity and ridiculous premise. The main character sets out to travel through the medieval world,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →it has some potential but the game is more broken the more you want to enjoy it, or if you think your getting any better. The screen splash makes you wonder what to do next at the big moments? ya another impulse buy. Have fun!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Was finally able to play Apocalypse Party and i had a blast! Such a fun, seemingly simple game, that, on second look, has so much stuff to unlock! Check out my video of the Prologue: youtu.be/MyVDbeTuUvA More coming soon! #survivorlike #indiegame #zombiegame

Leader boards being hacked? sure, does it affect me? no, I'm not trying to get on the leader boards nor do I care for it. So its not a reason for me to be negative about the game. - Good: - Tons of anime and movie references which make this game fun. - Ability to push…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Apocalypse Party is a bullet heaven that does what every other bullet heaven does: you pick a class with special buffs, you pick some weapons, you level up and look for synergistic talents, and you hope RNG favors you in the run you're doing. It stands out from the crowd by having a number of different game modes and challenges that keep the gameplay interesting beyond just trying out every class's special skills and then quitting. You can also combine any two class passives you've unlocked to…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A few negative points to people thinking this is a lot like Vampire Survivors: 1. It runs *very* poorly. Near the end of a run your fps will suffer dramatically with all of the additional mobs and onscreen effects. 2. Descriptions of effects aren't great, and tend to be very wordy. 3. A lot of characters have active abilities instead of passively scaling bonuses, which means they're generally not good. 4. This is a game where positioning matters a lot, but weapons often either slow you down or…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fix the game so it actually uses my pc and stops running like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Weak summons, low health and armor replacement vs average creature damage. Interesting selection of weapons, but no real time to examine differences. Probably screenshot and pause would be necessary, though not useful for multi. Trying to confirm if game caps leveling, which would be annoying as no real tree to upgrades, elaboration is minimal. Almost feels like a mobile game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its fun, but I wish it didn't use the same assets that like 7 other games on steam do. West Hunt being the big one I can think of. would just be so much better if it had its own style and look.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →With a saturated market this game ♥♥♥♥♥. Has a lot more depth than expected. Has a story to it which is kinda dope. Multitude of characters along with being able to subclass with other characters HAS 3 PLAYER COOP????? Scaling of powers and talents seems fair, has A LOT of ways to build for a run. A LOT of these talents are whimsical yet they can work in your favor. I had a talent where anytme i revived a homie we became ONE where he controlled me and himself while i could use all my…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →High gpu usage in the main menu. I have an rtx 3060, i know its not a super good card in 2025 but for a game of this quality it shouldn't be using 90% of my gpu in the main menu, makes me think its a crypto miner.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I don't really recommend it. The upgrades are sometimes creative and interesting and merging characters is a good idea, but the weapons... let's just say you will have like 3-4 favorites and never use other ones. Many weapons are just garbage anyway. Some are just not viable, especially on higher difficulties. Not fond of how you get them too. The maps are handcrafted, so runs become samey quickly. I liked the infinite dungeons, though. They offer different experience than the standard…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I feel like an idiot for buying this.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is almost the best of the new groups of survivors likes. Auto-targerting and optimization would be welcome additions, along with some new content 😊.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →🧟♂️💥 Me: “Just one quick run.” Also me at 4AM: Riding a dragon, dual-wielding bazookas, summoning a toaster army, screaming at Satan. Friend: “What game is this!?” Me: 👉 Apocalypse Party. It’s not a game. It’s a build-your-own-apocalypse buffet. 🔥💀 Buy it. Regret nothing.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of the most fun games I've ever played. There's a LOT of content, story mode, endless mode, challenges mode, dungeon mode.... multiplayer option, fantastic weapons with a lot of niche and cursed memes, a ton of passives and talents, a incredible big amount of characters, and, what most surprised me, is that you can FUSE passive to even make better pasives. You can EVEN DRINK in the main menu to be even more OP. And no, game is NOT easy, some challenges actually made me use my brain to play…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Picked it up on a sale on a whim, but holy crap this game is tons of fun. Great mix of silly and incredibly powerful weapons, many choices for talents and multiple build ideas you can craft. Translations seem to be done well from what I've experienced. All in all, it's more than worth the sale price and definitely worth full price imo. Get ready to fight Satan with a sphincter gun.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Having fun. There are many games like this that should be multiplayer. This is the only one i have found and it is great with friends. Why though is the prologue harder than the chapters?
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really like to play this and just zone out. There are a ton of different characters and levels and the progression moves along pretty quickly...especially if you keep trying new things.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →if you like soulstone survivors you'll love this game

unlabelledView post →Instead of this, go play Brotato, Yet Another Zombie Survivor, or Soulstone Survivors if you haven't already. I like the story, cartoon story screens and the setting of this game, but everything else is pretty dismal. The graphics could be glossed over, the sound mix is bad, but the controls are simply attrocious. I'm not even sure what exactly is yanking the character around constantly, but movement is uneven and jerky. I know some guns have recoil but that doesn't explain it all. There's…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Apocalypse Party, developed by Breaker Games and published by Breaker Games together with Kepler Ghost, is a chaotic blend of roguelike survival mechanics and irreverent humor that leans heavily into excess and unpredictability. While it clearly draws inspiration from the now-familiar wave-based survival formula popularized by games in the genre, it distinguishes itself through its almost anarchic approach to design. Rather than refining a single cohesive identity, it throws together a wide…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There are better games for this price. This is not a good game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really nice roguelike, with interesting basic mechanics. Overally, I really like the mix of charachters and equips: they are both interesting from storytelling perpsecitve, and create plenty of variety in terms of play styles. I do feel like the play loop is kind of limited -- I don't think there is a complex enough (think Deep Rock Galactic:Survivor or Vampire Surivior where there are multiple kinds of upgrades outside the play loop) -- I don't feel like there is enough sense that the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →While the game is fun for the most part, I can't recommend it much at all. The game is riddled with text errors along with bad spelling and typos. For being out almost 2 years, it's clearly been abandoned and no one is looking at this. A ton of the resources from this game I notice are also used in The Bloodline, so someone somewhere is doing lazy work and I'm inclined to believe it's this pile of trash.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cute and funny China game, had alot of laughs while playing with my friends with all the random stuff that can happen Honestly need to support more games like these rather than the big money hungry companies like EA, Ubisoft and Activision I would use my money to support humble devs like these where i actually have fun in the game rather than spend my well earned money on something like call of duty or the newer DEI infested assasin creed games Its buggy but in a good way, for example…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of the best roguelike games I've played. One advice I'd give is allow 4 player coop.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Vampire Survivors clone, but that game is good, so clones are also good.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game, we need more co-op survivor likes. Lots of content to have a good bit of fun for a while. I got it for 50% off but honestly there's enough content that $10 is a fair price. Only reason I didn't buy it sooner was I didn't know it exists.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →3/10 Pro: -It's Action Roguelke! Cons: -Auto-attack doesn't aim for the nearest target. It's really not hitting 80% of the time! -When you're near the wall, all you see is black wall. It doesn't hide it, so all you see that big black wall when you're playing. -Classes aren't fun to play. -Weapons aren't exciting to use. Overall, it's just a sad game of this type of genre =(
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →8/10 love the concept of fusing characters, but have found many bugs; the games main currency will glitch out from time to time when you buy items (I don't know if you can replicate it when you're selling)but now i am at -13 crowns which will take several matches to return to positive all in all pretty good game especially if you can get it half off
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very boring, simple and way to easy gameplay.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Jouez la demo plutôt qu'acheter le jeu.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun little survivors mashup to play on the side when you got some free time. Theres currently around 45 characters or so and each one has 3 varying classes so theres a decent amount of stuff to try out you will enjoy it for at least 17 hours if you like survivors styled games and card powerups
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game runs like garbage and gets stale quick. My PC has zero performance issues in any game, i5-14600k cpu paired with an RTX 5070 gpu and I get 40fps in a duo game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really enjoyed AP when I first started playing. Its a good rouge like top down game. After 17 hours it has gotten stale and feels like every other rouge like.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The devs dropped it so whats the point
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Apocalypse Party was a blast to play with a friend. I really enjoyed the characters, the mechanics, and even the grind, since it felt rewarding. For me, the game was solid, though seeing the same maps repeatedly became a bit repetitive—but that’s not a real complaint, as it could easily be fixed with more content in the future. Overall, it’s a fun and engaging experience worth trying alone or with friends.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Lags and major frame drops towards the end. 4090 with a 400 cpu and you just get so much delay. Enemies towards the end don’t take damage and then they end up just disappearing. Botato and Binding of Isaac run better than this in the end game. Would refund but I played it with friends past 2 hours.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Review as of 8/4/25 I've cleared the story, it was a fun little romp, and now I'm going to try out all the side game modes. This is one of those scaling roguelites where you level up, get new upgrades, and hunt around the map for new (or just better) weapons. You are an active participant, so you will shoot and slice your way through enemies with inputs instead of doing so automatically (though there is an option to automatically fire, I just don't recommend it outside of certain…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game crashes all time, generally when you try to play a second time
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →unplayable. constantly unmutes itself, menu scene screwes up my graphics card. terrible experience
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a fun game with plenty of characters to do runs with, lots of whacky stuff to do in the alternate modes ( especially Evil God runs), nice low-poly visuals, repetitive bosses, and a serious lack of polish. If you play with controller, you have a non-toggleable partial aim-assist at close targets _that OVERRIDES your actual analog-stick aim direction_. It makes playing with a controller with some weapons feel so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awful, it was extremely annoying to deal with and I eventually just…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It feels like really poorly made good game. Like it is still in the earliest of access. But it has been out for 2 years now. Even the translation from chinese is incomplete. It is also really easy. Also poorly balanced. You dont have the right item? Sucks for you, here, dodge this *Hits you with 10 undodgable attacks*. It has the potential, but I really doubt it will come to fruition
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Played the demo like it and i got the game at 50% off and im having fun.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →BANG BANG, SHOOT SHOOT, SLICE SLICE, MAGIC MAGIC, DRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIFT, LASER BEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMS. and then theres summoning.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a very fun game in this genre, you've likely played or seen other games similar to this, the general premise isn't much different from those. You have different classes in the game which are unique and offer different playstyles, there's a bunch of them too, got to be at least 20-30 or so, perhaps more. The game doesn't feel complicated despite having a lot to look at and the general gameplay loop is as follows: - Choose class and chapter to play - Get weapons from boxes - Kill stuff…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's not bad! There's a lot of different choices when it comes to the roguelike aspects when you level up ranging from flat buffs to... And I quote... A gun sticking out of your but which can speed you up as it fires at enemies behind you. You can have summons, various types of weapons from a sniper rifle to excalibur, or at least if you can't pull excalibur out of the stone you can certainly pick the rock and sword up together and use it as a war hammer. There's a bunch of characters with…
