I grinded for eight hours. I saved every gold coin to eventually buy resources for crafting. After eight hours, an NPC stole all my money. Literally everything. 90k gold is gone. There were no warnings or hints. You can't reload because there are no manual saves, and the game saves automatically. It's absolutely the worst game design. Don't waste your time on this game, as it does not respect your time.

It's very bad, after all these years of updates the menu navigation it's still a pos with double clicking and weird scrolling, meant for controller. An isometric rpg not having good mouse and keyboard controls is ridiculous, more even so the dev's mediocre lazy stance of "it works" or that "it's 2026 don't you guys have a controller". EDIT: Imagine running a studio and spending your time creeping on reviewers' profiles just to pull a passive aggressive 'gotcha' over a review on a completely…

Not very good. Full of old archaic rpg systems that make it feel like the game came out 10 years ago instead of the 1 year ago as of when I wrote this review. The quest system is full of fetch quests and basic kill X amount of enemies missions. The rewards are all over the place from useless trash for difficult area clears to best item in the game for just running around and talking to a bunch of people and 1 dungeon. The itemization was not great either. I played a dagger rogue and there…

A lot of the bosses I've fought are not difficult as much as they are tedious. The same goes for the areas. I don't understand the point of looting potions in a fighting area to not be able to use them or even change your equipment in a fighting area. It's definitely a choice to eliminate all area progress and remove all looted items when dying in an area while simultaneously considering consumables as used.

First of all, this game is boring. I just came back to check updates and see if it got any better. I have played a helluva lot of games. This one isn't worth it. Also, the developer responds to every negative comment like a child. Every single negative comment is met with some smarmy, debate-bro tactic response as to why their opinion is wrong. How do I support a developer who responds to all negative feedback like he's debating economic strategies? It's laughable and ridiculous and his game…

Repetitive combat with fake rpg elements. The game is boring and limited at the start and becomes repetitive in the end. You don’t really get more powerful but you can make builds that nullify most other skills. But the worst parts are the devs who seem to always argue and disagree with feedback. I recommend playing Drova. Such a great game. This game is 10% content and 90% reused content. By reused content, you'll be fighting the same enemies in "maps" that function similarly. Maps are a…

Quick rundown: Pros: Gameplay (combat) feels like an isometric mix of Diablo, (insert Souls game here), and the Arkham series. Interaction between NPCs is roughly Diablo-esque or in the vein of Torchlight as far as getting missions goes. Story's surprisingly deep. The devs took time to craft the world. Set pieces are nice to look at. The bad: Not too much - a little simplistic with NPC interaction, some of the design of the cities/refuges is a maze at times and will have you hitting the…

I am NOT a souls-like game player and I LOVE this game. The first few hours (3-5) were hard as I had to learn the ropes but if you do side quests/get money and buy good gear BEFORE you start gaining 'levels' the game is much easier. Once I had decent gear the 1/2 skull dungeons fell easily. I'm still playing so that's all I've done so far but this game is excellent. I've heard there are different events/quests if you play different race and alignment??? Not sure how many 'combos' but that…

Sure its pretty easy to grind gold but thats just lame, slim hope to run into the npc again somewhere along the way. Game is cool tho def worthy of giving it a shot but its going to be benched for me now for a bit.

actually get boring very soon, said baudurs gate + souls, but not at all, the combat is kinda boring, game content are nothing more than repeating similar content again and again, maybe i still at begining phase? however, if the expierence remains the same at first 9 or 10 hours, i doubt whether if the game design or guides are made wrong

I have a bit of a mixed feeling. I love the look, I love the vibe, I love the concept. First thing I struggle with is the world. As ttrpg player, I love to delve into the setting. And while there is material to delve into, it misses identity. It builds on classic high fantasy, tries to bring some twist here and there, but subjectively speaking it wasn't enough to capture attention and love. My understanding is it was drafted by legendary Ch. Avellone and I have to say, he can do better.…

I wanted to enjoy this game but its user interface is horrible. Clearly the game is designed to be cross plateform but almost everything that makes it so also makes it clunky and unpleasant to navigate on PC. personally to me it feels like the Devs had some grand ambitions (and good ideas) but gave up half way and tied a mess of what they had together to finish the game. After almost finishing the game I couldn't tell you anything interesting about a character, side quest or even the…

Cool idea, almost completely ruined by absolutely garbage hitboxes (2-3 times larger than the actual attack at times) and janky controls that often lock you into an animation, sometimes for something you didn't even do. Like, I'm not joking, the actual idea behind the game is solid and I enjoy it for the most part, it's just not fun going through all my resources in a single fight because the enemies completely miss me by a mile but still hit anyway. It's hard for me to recommend the game in its current state. On one hand, the idea of slow methodical ARPGs feels vastly unexplored and a good niche for the genre. On the other, it's completely ignorable in the game as it stands. Between Pull of the Void and Ice Cage, with some spell/talent cooldown gear, grandmaster talents, and consumables, you can permalock every enemy in the game. I didn't even use the block or parry once in my first complete playthrough, and while I still haven't visited…

Lifeless world, inane quests, mouse and keyboard while technically "useable" is so poorly implemented it's not possible to use without losing your sanity, english translation is dreadful - borderline non-sensical.. I gave this game a good bash, even waiting till I had a controller, and I just can't get into it. I like the over-all concept but its just too poorly implemented. Also many concepts are imersion breaking such as "fighting areas" and "quest givers". Lore and codex are just tedious.…

The game is still early access. There should be mention that the voice acting is AI, as it only states that they have used it for localizations, not which ones. The game's devs are Italian, so I imagine that the writing largely only makes sense in Italian. They do not state that their native language is Italian, and the first segment of voice acting is done in slow and slurred but I think at least human English. In fact, the only voice acting in the entire game according to the store page is…

This is a really nifty sandbox action RPG. At first, it is stupidly hard to wrap your head around the combat, so I would recommend people to just go into their first, easiest Fight Area (FA) expecting to die. Don't use potions or anything until you can kill a room of mobs without taking damage, and when you get to that point, commit to the FA run. But once you get it, which might take like 20 minutes of trying, it should really click. There's no way to completely ignore it by playing a mage…

Absolutely CRAZY, as I expected it would be. TONS of great lore, very magical and very 'wow'-ness, loving how it has a sort of Lord of the Rings type of vibe, great stuff. Gameplay is great, a bunch of very cool CRPG features, fun combat and just one heck of a total package imo, including great character creation. And just to say it again, the LORE is wild! And so much of it you unlock as you go, love it. Cheers devs, great work!!

I kind of see what the game tries to go for, and although I'm definitely not a part of the target audience, I do respect an attempt at creating something new and not blindly cloning the existing formulas. Unfortunately, innovation does not make poor KBM controls any better — both action and UI controls are still not enjoyable and barely usable respectively. A game for a very particular niche player.

Game sounded nice on paper but I didn't like the game design and refunded after trying a difficulty "one-skull" starter (?) dungeon three times. It's a bit like any of the Diablo action RPGs, but with very boring generic story setup (find four parts of some item, then face boss) and huge sandbox with Diablo-like combat in dungeons, but enemies are way more difficult and tedious to fight. None of the systems felt rewarding and playing on PC but not even being allowed to click on menu items with…

Stepped into a dungeon. Skeleton swung his sword, I ran away, ended up being hit while my character was several steps away from the skeleton. The hitboxes are crazy bad. Uninstalled.

Read before Buying…Not Local-Co Op as would be expected! In Alaloth Champions of the Four Kingdoms, the ONLY “local co op” PLAYER opportunity is DURING Player 1 SELECTED BATTLES. It is Player 1’s game, P2 can only join when requested at his/her battle. No fun. We only play “local co-op” games. This game was a gift and unfortunately, no way to preview how local co op is integrated in the game. Waste of money.

It reminds me of the original Diablo or Titan Quest. Just waves of enemies and random loot. Not having a fast travel option is a huge negative as well. If you like really old style games with minimal voice acting, lots of reading, and terrible quest markers, this is your game.
