positive · AI labelView post →This show almost escaped my scope~ Thankfully saw some pics of Akane online thought she was cute and gave the show a shot! Good stuff! :3 Have some Akane from Akane Banashi!

neutral · AI labelView post →Been idly checking out Akane-Banashi, which is a shonen series about a teenage girl training to rise to the top in the world of Rakugo performance, and this bit comparing the kind of stories you know how to perform to abilities in dragon quest really tickled me
positive · AI labelView post →Aaaaand I’m caught up on Akane-Banashi! An excellent series, definitely going to keep up with it weekly from here on out. Akane is a great lead, her journey is engaging, and the rakugo element is novel (to me, someone with little knowledge of the art).
positive · AI labelView post →I've seen two people now saying that Akane-Banashi is a sports manga but the sport is stand-up comedy, and I'm like NO, THAT WAS SHOW-HA SHOTEN AND IT ENDED TOO SOON.
neutral · AI labelView post →Akane Banashi is a fun series to powerscale against because I don't think anyone in any verse could take him one on one
positive · AI labelView post →I like how Akane Banashi is written as a battle series but since there's no actual like, life or death action, they can't actually kill off her dead but they basically act like he's gone
positive · AI labelView post →With Akane Banashi complete, I’m going to catch up on the series I’ve gotten behind on (Gokurakugai, One Piece), then I’ll probably be in the market for another sports manga. Was thinking maybe Hikaru no Go, but open to suggestions.
neutral · AI labelView post →Hi everyone, we have a new interview for you tonight! Seth Burn had a chance to talk with Anna Nagase, who plays Akane in "Akane-banashi." She discusses her work on the series, her rakugo traning, her favorite rakugo, and more. It's a great read, and we hope you enjoy. #anime #akanebanashi
neutral · AI labelView post →What a banger end for s1, and since it's split cour we getting s2 in January 🙏 Time for me continue reading the manga meanwhile... Akane-Banashi was definitely my fav show this season 😌
positive · AI labelView post →Akane from Akane-Banashi. if you haven't pls read akane-banashi, amazing series. #akanebanashi #art
positive · AI labelView post →GOOOD MORNING MANGA READERS 📚 Quote this with your very first manga and one of your current favorites JJK season 1 MADE me go read the manga and Akane-Banashi is my favorite new ongoing series 😌
positive · AI labelView post →Finished Akane Banashi and this is me knowing there is another season coming 😌. Very good show, considering reading the manga also
positive · AI labelView post →Read the new chapter of Akane-Banashi yesterday and there's a good argument that its the best chapter in the entire series full-stop. At least for the moment we're in right now and how its been left.
positive · AI labelView post →It's rough. I'm 50+ and HATE reading digitally but seeing the prices on some new releases feels insane. Ashita No Joe at $60?! I've definitely picked up digital reading of series I'm only kind of invested in through Viz subs (Akane Banashi, Blue Box, etc, stuff I wouldn't buy but like a bit)
neutral · AI labelView post →I talk about these series quite a bit on Twitter but figured I'd ỉntroduce my top 10 manga here too. Couldn't fit 10 in the bingo so Akane-Banashi gets its own image
positive · AI labelView post →Really diggin it over here you're fan of these series Skip & Loafer Cross Game Akane Banashi Ichi The Witch World Trigger Hunter x Hunter Kingdom Of Quartz Kagurabachi Medalist AKIRA Choujin X let's be mutuals🙌🏿

neutral · AI labelView post →So they put the first episode of Akane Banashi on youtube so I watched it there since I couldn't figure out where it was streaming. I thought it was great, it's a pretty nice looking show and they use rotoscoping very well. I'm very happy with it. www.youtube.com/watch?v=nn96...
positive · AI labelView post →Speaking of good adaptations, Akane-Banashi was crazy good this week, one of the BIG moments for Akane’s VA to show her talents and she absolutely nailed it I forgot how much of an emotional rollercoaster the ending of the Jugemu telling was, but they did a really great job with it
positive · AI labelView post →YESSSSSS!!!!!! I am so happy this is getting an adaptation! Akane Banashi is a series where everyone is hot and everyone only cares about Rakugo. www.youtube.com/watch?v=qVmU...
positive · AI labelView post →Trying to explain this week's Akane-Banashi to someone with no familiarity to the series or rakugo itself: "What if sexy young Garrison Keillor told the News from Lake Woebegon so hard he experienced ego death live on stage?"
positive · AI labelView post →Man, Akane Banashi is a really pretty show!
positive · AI labelView post →You know I've been watching Rakugou because of the AMAZING series Akane Banashi. And rakugou is a perfect example of this. They only have a set number of stories they tell, but because everybody knows the plot the focus is on the actual craft of "telling a story". Just like jazz music.
positive · AI labelView post →Volumes one and two of Chigusa Ichihara’s “Shite no Hana” have been reprinted!! The series started in Weekly Shonen Sunday but now runs online on Sunday Webry. (As seen below it’s been recommended by Akane Banashi writer Yuki Suenaga and voice actor Kenjiro Tsuda!)
neutral · AI labelView post →It's nice to have another series I'm very invested in staying caught up on week-to-week (Akane-Banashi) instead of just One Piece
positive · AI labelView post →119 chapters in and I definitely see why people are saying Akane-Banashi is one of the best series in Jump right now
positive · AI labelView post →I highly recommend Akane Banashi if you want a really charming series about a bunch of good looking people being extremely dedicated to Rakugo.
positive · AI labelView post →It's been a while since I've talked manga / anime (there are a lot of reasons I fell out of love of doing so, leaving twitter originally was one) but if you are ever looking for a series to read, I really love Akane-Banashi lately. The art is amazing and I love the Rakugo focus.
positive · AI labelView post →Tatsu reads shoujo, Hokazono reads BL, JJK borders on plagiarism with Tricornered Window, and that's not even mentioning the incredible success of Blue Box or Akane-Banashi, series that could've been Jumpslop but are very much centered on girls and their protagonism
neutral · AI labelView post →Akane-banashi - Episode 10 🧵 Every episode of Akane-banashi ends with me yelling at the screen the moment the ED hits. This show is so freaking good! #Akanebanashi #anime
positive · AI labelView post →Shonen jump axing series left and right. Glad Ichi the Witch and Akane-Banashi are safe
neutral · AI labelView post →I love Dandadan. Very happy with how Season 2 ended and with Monday's latest chapter. I'm enjoying The Summer Hikaru Died (the show). I have vol. 1 around here somewhere to start reading. I continue to enjoy Akane-Banashi, Me & Roboco, and Witch Watch too! Stoked for the Chainsaw Man movie!
positive · AI labelView post →Congrats to Akane Banashi for getting an anime adaptation!! 🎉🎉 Even though I'm seriously behind on it, it's a really good Shonen series I enjoyed reading. 🙂 #manga #anime #akanebanashi
positive · AI labelView post →I don't think I ever would have picked up Akane Banashi or Blue Box if I was shopping at shelves or online. But now Akane is my fave ongoing series.
positive · AI labelView post →Welp Akane Banashi officially made me cry at my desk. Goated series, definitely in my top five manga.
positive · AI labelView post →Akane-Banashi cour 1: I love this series! It was a really great adaptation and each episode seemed to just fly by. My only minor criticism is that I felt like the rakugo performances felt a bit more hype in the manga, at least for me personally. Aside from that, I think they did an amazing job
positive · AI labelView post →The Greatest Estate Developer Akane-Banashi Ichi the Witch Centuria Dandandan (it’s weird rn) and about 60-something other series
neutral · AI labelView post →Week 86. We begin AKANE-BANASHI (if you want a single show starting point to jump in on our weekly watch along without worrying that's a good one! It's on Youtube!), Pokémon Concierge returns and we'll say goodbye to Witch Watch, Delicious In Dungeon and Hell's Paradise Season 2!
neutral · AI labelView post →Finally caught up on the most recent arc of Akane-Banashi (I was like 7-8 chapters behind) and goddamn does this series get better and better. This really feels like a classic in the making.
positive · AI labelView post →it should be an Akane-Banashi 4D Show but people are not ready to discuss this
neutral · AI labelView post →So. I fell in love with this series… Akane-Banashi
positive · AI labelView post →Akane Banashi: Okay man stop aura farming and just fucking show me how you perform so this whole series can make more sense.
negative · AI labelView post →Akane Banashi: Man this series is so fucking good. Zensho almost instantly redeemed even if he obviously loses.
positive · AI labelView post →Hi everyone, we have a new interview for you tonight! Seth Burn had a chance to talk with Anna Nagase, who plays Akane in "Akane-banashi." neutral · AI labelView post →Akane Banashi: This series is very good and you should read it if you haven't already.
positive · AI labelView post →Akane Banashi: This series really is a pleasure. I've also caught up on the anime and it's a good adaptation.
positive · AI labelView post →Akane Banashi remains great week to week so far, I was a little worried the budget might fall out of the show after episode 1. But so far it feels very good, well realized and fluid, the characters all feel like they are alive rather than static talking heads, even if it is lessened than ep 1.
positive · AI labelView post →I am no longer asking you to read Akane Banashi. because now it's a command to read one of the best new Jump series in a long, long while.
positive · AI labelView post →Speaking of Akane-Banashi, very very curious who they are going to get for the voice cast given that the whole basis of the story is rakugo storytelling. Do you get a professional voice actor, or a rakugoka, or both? Hope this is good, love the series.
neutral · AI labelView post →This weeks lineup of Weekly Shonen Jump manga was really solid, but now I’m urging people to read Akane-Banashi. This has got to be one of the most consistently written series Jump has had in years, and I say this as someone who glazed Undead Unluck when it was being serialised. Please read it 🙇♀️
positive · AI labelView post →Jump Time: Akane Banashi - I genuinely love all the spreads showing the "Rakugo world" but I still think The God Of Death panels were the best in the series so far.
positive · AI labelView post →The people who obsess over battle shounen won't let you know that Akane Banashi is the best WSJ series currently running
positive · AI labelView post →I just learned about akane banashi and i think people are maybe right, The series is kinda overlooked It’s so good #akanebanashi
positive · AI labelView post →POST A CHARACTER YOU LOVE Akane from Akane Banashi! She a rakugo story teller. I absolutely adore how expressive she is! I won't tag just show us your fav!
neutral · AI labelView post →Akane Banashi remains the best Jump manga in ages. I can't remember a series I read on the dot every week.
positive · AI labelView post →Akane-Banashi 9/10! YOU ALL HAVE FAILED ME...except for @stefanwoad.bsky.social WHY HASN'T ANYONE ELSE TALKED ABOUT THIS SERIES?! ITS SOOOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOD MAN! I KNEW I WOULD LIKE THIS BUT MAN DO I LIKE THIS! LIKE MEDALIST, GO WATCH IT! I'M NOT ASKING!
positive · AI labelView post →Akane-banashi’s Anna Nagase Talks to Anime Herald at Anime Expo 2026: Seth Burn talked with Anna Nagase, who plays Akane in "Akane-banashi." neutral · AI labelView post →I finished the first season of Akane Banashi and I really liked it! I think that the dialogue and story in this show are great and I love a lot of the characters, but my favorite thing about it is Akane herself! She is just such a hardworking, energetic, and fun character who's easy to root for!
