57 of 57 · most liked firstUnderrated Hackman movie I love is Prime Cut. He also rocked playing Bill Clinton in Absolute Power. Just the tip of the iceberg, these two movies.
unlabelledView post →I was a little disappointed in Absolute Power with that cast, but it was an otherwise satisfying week. Not sure if anyone’s heard of Backrooms, but those’r some creepy, addicting shorts. #LastFourWatched #LetterboxdFriday #FilmSky 🎥 📽️

unlabelledView post →Eastwood has always struck me as a bit of a narcissist — every movie he directed put himself as the central character (Absolute Power comes to mind. In the book, the character he played was not the focus) Oh, and he was always a Republican (mayor of Carmel).

unlabelledView post →We look now at fiction that centres on 'corrupt, self-serving presidents'. 1. Absolute Power (1996). Film directed by Clint Eastwood. Gene Hackman as a sexually violent US President trying to cover up his involvement in a murder.
unlabelledView post →Por si no podía ponerse peor el 2025, ha muerto el gran mago del cine DAVID LYNCH. Un verdadero chingón como no habrá otro igual. Nos vemos en el Black Lodge. REST IN ABSOLUTE POWER! variety.com/2025/film/ne...
unlabelledView post →#nowwatching Absolute Power.
unlabelledView post →Nixon should have never been pardoned and we might not be in this situation. Also in the movie Absolute Power directed and produced by Clint Eastwood, Gene Hackman comes pretty close to playing Trump in real life.
unlabelledView post →It’s time for me to say good by and thank you for coming by. My dinner and movie is Absolute Power. I hope you enjoy it if you have time to watch it. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z94c...

unlabelledView post →RIP Gene Hackman. Favorite movie besides Hoosiers? Absolute Power stands out for me, and Get Shorty (which I love). So many good ones that I'm not sure what I'd pick
unlabelledView post →Okay okay the gig’s up! That’s a photo of Clint Eastwood from the film Absolute Power where he plays a master of disguise, in which he looks a lot like Chuck Jones from Extremes and In-Betweens. THIS is an actual photo of Chuck Jones, happy birthday!
unlabelledView post →as I have said many times, Absolute Power is Clint Eastwood's Brian De Palma film
unlabelledView post →Absolute Power. I just watched it last week for the umpteenth time. Love Ed in this.
unlabelledView post →A PRESIDENT and CHILDREN of all things!! Have you seen the movie Absolute Power?
unlabelledView post →I saw Superman, and then I read comics: Woman of Tomorrow - this is going to make an interesting movie. Booster Shot - I think Booster Gold COULD make for an interesting movie. Revenge of the Demon - that's a fascinating choice of villain. Absolute Power - it's fine? Poor Jon 🥲

unlabelledView post →I read David Baldacci's Absolute Power for the first time after meeting him at Bouchercon in San Diego in 2023. I'd seen the film which aI thought was okay (though cheap looking) but the book is excellent. I can see why it sold for tons of money to Hollywood. #booksky #readingcommunity #novels
unlabelledView post →The whole premise behind the movie Absolute Power with Gene Hackman playing the president, would be fiction if it happened in today's Whitehouse. Does anyone believe Congress would hold Trump accountable for murder? I don't.
unlabelledView post →ABSOLUTE POWER watching again Fabulous movie Gene Hackman Clint Eastwood
unlabelledView post →The drama kinda resembles the movie Absolute Power. Instead of the mistress being killed, a group of pedo’s have taken advantage of their power to commit crimes and the president / so called Christian’s are running interference for them all.
unlabelledView post →He also played the president in the Clint Eastwood film " Absolute Power."
unlabelledView post →Reminiscent of Gene Hackman in a Clint Eastwood movie. That recently joined the deluge of trans films — thrillers, comedies, horrors, sci-fi, fantasy adventures, et al, now identifying as documentaries. Absolute Power ftwtf

Alligator Alcatraz is ISOLATED, away from public view. It will get much much worse. Did you really believe it wouldn't happen? www.aclu.org/news/nationa...

unlabelledView post →An enjoyable thriller with a good cast. My ★★★½ review of Absolute Power on Letterboxd boxd.it/974zdd #filmsky
unlabelledView post →Last night’s 2nd movie: Absolute Power (1997) More Hackman I say! We’ve seen this previously, but probably not since 97 or 98. Solid thriller with a great cast. Eastwood produced, directed & starred as a jewel thief who witnesses the killing of a woman by Secret Service agents.
unlabelledView post →The last movie was "Absolute Power". I only watched it a couple of nights ago.
unlabelledView post →Absolute Power, more of a Clint Eastwood joint, but still a great movie with him.
unlabelledView post →My favorite lesser known Hackman movies: Scarecrow (almost unspeakably bleak film with Pacino) Absolute Power (he plays a corrupt violent POTUS) Night Moves (peak 70s Neo-noir)
unlabelledView post →It was the plot of the Clint Eastwood film “Absolute Power,” but in that case the President was a closeted monster and not broadcasting it to the entire nation.
unlabelledView post →Due to me listening to Ringer movie podcasts when I hear the letters HGH I just assume they are talking about Horny Gene Hackman movies like NO WAY OUT and ABSOLUTE POWER.
