46 of 46 · most liked firstThis is my favorite 18 WOS installment. This game hooked me from day one when I purchased in 2005. This game instilled a love of trucking in my little grade-school self that built me into the real life truck driver that i am today. Lets go over the good and bad of 18 WOS PTTM. Pros: - The gameplay is fantastic. Picking up loads and delivering them to the correct locations is easy and straight forward. No tutorial required, just go from point A to point B. - The progression system in this game…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's my first game. So many memories <3 ^_^ Compare to current simulators from this studio it was so much arcade and simple ( graphics, physics etc ) but still it was awesome :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is my childhood. The first ever game I played for a hundret hours. Best part of the 18 WoS series. Making an old man feeling like 11 again :')
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It just bring backs so many memories
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I had enjoyed this game back in the day when I was a kid. The controls are kind of much meh as played via keyboard so it isn't like American Truck Simulator. Yet, this game is developed by the same company who made all the truck sims. I don't want to compare to that. There is a performance problem with the Steam port that after doing multiple jobs, the game will crash and I had this confirmed by one of my friends. I still have my CD copy so it would be something in Windows 10 or the port…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Played this game ALOT as a small boy. Now with my Class A CDL, I still come back and play it as a fun piece of nostalgia. Couldn't place why I liked certain big rigs growing up, but booting up this game for the first time in over 15 years brought all those sentiments back.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I had enjoyed this game back in the day. This is not worth of $10, It should be $5.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game with which I have the warmest memories. A game of my childhood. I’ll never forget the moments when my dad and I played it in the evenings with a steering wheel and pedals. miss the childhood…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →4. 18 Wheels of Steel: Haulin' I have tried to play this game, it closes at launch. It refuses to open. I have given up.
unlabelledView post →The game is well worth it full and on discount both, its the favorite from the series, for multiple reasons, though I only had full version of this when I was a child beside the Hard Truck 18 Wheels of Steel I recommend it to anyone who is into the genre or wants to try the genre out, gives a different experience than ATS and other newer SCS titles, 10/10 for me, fully and wholeheartedly recommanded
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →ok fir first time
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →18 Wheels of Steel: Pedal to the Metal stands as a defining moment in the early evolution of trucking simulators, offering players a blend of long-haul logistics and open-road freedom that helped establish the identity of the genre long before modern titles refined it. Developed by SCS Software during a period when simulation games were narrower in scope and more experimental in tone, it presents a vast North American map that stretches across the United States and extends into parts of Canada…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i love 18 wheels of steel pedal to the medal this was my very first game back in early 2,000 and i still enjoy it today lol
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good Game.....Graphics still holds up even in Todays time.....
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Considering its predecessors, this sequel is refreshing and a pleasant surprise. You can see that someone made an effort. Traffic in this sequel is not ideal, but it has been significantly improved compared to its predecessors. If you plan to play the 18 WoS series, I recommend that you start with this sequel and avoid frustration with the first two.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of the first games I played back in the day. Had a itch to play it again and was glad to find it on Steam. Runs great for the age on modern hardware. Simple, and easy, just takes a tad bit of skill to master the arrow navigation. Instant nostalgia unlocked when "Anybody got a weather report out there?" came over the radio.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very nostalgic loved it when I was a kid and still love it now. the only issue is that driving into the city of Chihuahua crashes the game. But I've always had an issue with it, even on disk. Great for casual play. 10/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is not perfect. It's not even close to be perfect. But it's good. Good enough to be one of my favourite games of my childhood. Biggest problem for me is control - crude and awkward. After all these years it's not the same as the first time, but nostalgia compensates for everything.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i like the game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This one is my favorite of the 18 wheels of steel series. You start out taking already planned jobs and work your way up to starting your own trucking company, scheduling your own jobs and having your own fleet of trucks. I enjoyed playing this game back in the day and i'm glad to have it again.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An absolute classic that brings back so many memories! I remember spending hours driving across the country, enjoying the roads, the atmosphere, and that unforgettable feeling of freedom. The graphics may be old, and the gameplay might feel a little outdated today, but that's exactly what makes this game so special. It takes me back to a time when games like this could keep you entertained for hours without needing anything fancy. A true piece of gaming history and a wonderful nostalgia trip.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pedal to the metal is a truck driving game where you do jobs and try and deliver cargo. There is police that chase you if you do the wrong things. Your truck can be upgraded. The graphics are very good for an old game I recommend this to any truck fan. 6/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →still had its charm

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →18 Wheels of Steel Across America was probably among my most played games when I was maybe 9 or 10. I usually think of Eurotruck players as at least 17+, but I wonder if there are still kids these days who also just get hooked on driving a truck in a video game.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you like a game where you can play it just past the allotted time for a refund and then have corrupt installation files on your computer that never let you play again and then get absolutely no help from support because "you already downloaded and played the game" then this game and steam is just for you! However if youre like me and just want to enjoy a game from your childhood you should probably just go to the valusoft website like i did. I was able to play it perfectly fine from another…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I remember playing this game on a Windows XP computer way back in 2004-2005. The game may be old and the graphics are very dated but it still holds a special place. You didn't have a childhood if you didn't play this game lol
