You'll manage your zoo, making animal pens, placing food and beverage stands, along with researching new animals and researching other things like their welfare, mating and rehabilitation. The game has an easy and quick tutorial all within the game along with challenges that will give you things to do in order to drive the game forward. You won't have control over things like ticket prices, food prices or anything like that. Your goal is just to…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is an unique way to play a zoo tycoon like game but isn't for everyone. Instead of money, you earn popularity points to spend on upgrading the park. All of the animals besides the beginning one must be earned through research. Barebones, it is a zoo park--no multiple scenarios and limited amount of challenges to achieve. If you are looking for wonderful graphics, look else where. But it does have its own bit of charm, if you ignore the slightly annoying two-thirds angle. It feels more…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was feeling nostalgic for Zoo Tycoon, so I thought this might fill the void. It didn't. It's far too simple and feels rather pointless. You wait ages for stuff to research, and the "scenario" is basically a bunch of pretty basic achievs with rewards, all within the one zoo. Foliage (required by all the animals) are extremely simple and limited to a few choice trees and shrubs per continent, so everything looks the same. There's no landscaping. And visitors want "features" also limited to a…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I bought it thinking is was a graphically simple Wildlife Park/Zoo Tycoon etc Its much simpler, it plays more like a Facebook game. If you're a fan of simple, casual sim games, then grab it. If you want something more, something vaguely challenging, leave it alone
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Zoo Park is a great simple minded, simply presented zoo management "simulator". Although it might not be as inclusive as Zoo Tycoon or Wildlife Park, it's down to earth and easy to use controls and ideas are so easily and readily grasped no matter your age. Sure it might not be an actual simulator, but I have found myself losing track of time when playing. Gameplay wise, it is very much similar to any other zoo simulator: start with nothing but money (or points in this case) and build your way…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A simple, but very addictive zoo sim. I used to play Zoo Tycoon a lot when I was little, this game has a feel very reminiscent to that game. Though the graphics are better than the original Zoo Tycoon game, it does have less animals to choose from. I wish there were more challenges, but the ones you have can be pretty challenging. I do love the selection of animals that are available, and the fact that the animals make real accurate sounds when you click on them. I also love the realistic…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this game was on sale very cheap and it shows it in the graphics and lack of tutorial on how to use controls all it does is help you through a few things like your first sanctuary fun if you have nothing else to do...would never have paid the full price for it that is for sure zoo tycoon has a much better atmosphere and movement for your zoo maps this one you have to figure out that you hold down mouse key to move about your map so far i could not find a way to rotate the maps it is for…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →1: If you want to play it like you're supposed to play it. It can be fun and worth it. 2: But if you are like me, Who desperatly want to block the exit and let the animals loose upon the visitors.. Thats something you can't do. 7/10 on point 1 0/10 on point 2

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Enjoyable game...HOWEVER Miss this genre but was dissapointed when I got to day 15-20 (couldnt get past 20 from all the bugs). At day 15, program began to crash every once in a while. Soon after, it crashed after only a few actions. No longer playable. Would have still recommended if it was cheaper but with all the bugs its still disappointing for the price tag. hopefully will be fixed In addition, no option to reduce resources once your park gets really large. I have about 160 animals and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Don't waste your money. It's like a bad flash game you should be able to play for free.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Zoo Park feels like the kind of game you would normally find on facebook. You create and build a park, research different things about animals from different regions, make the animals feel comfortable and happy by placing appropriate flora and fauna in their habitat and so on. The game is pretty simple, doesn't take a whole lot to get the hang of and has a playable tutorial that walks you through step by step how to get started. Visually, Zoo park feels and looks like something you would…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I got this gamea few months ago, and although i have not spent that long on it, i felt i should write a review to try and counteract all the negative reviews this game has gotten. The first thing i want to say is no, this is NOT zoo tycoon. if its a zoo tycoon type game you are looking for, go buy and/or play zoo tycoon. This game is more an animal sancturay game than a zoo game. This means that you have to work harder to get to a good point in the game. not all the animals are available from…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game suffers from bad UI, and the only reason you should get it is if you desperately need a zoo game. I thought it would be more like Zoo Tycoon, but it's not. The game just feel empty. It also has a pretty bland look and not really any memorable sounds.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Zoo Park presents a unique way to play a tycoon game, however, it isn't for everyone. It feels like a port from a mobile game or a Facebook game. However don't let that keep you from playing this game because it has a lot to offer. It is very creative and allows you to experiment with different park designs. It doesn't grab your hand and lead you through the gameplay like many other games, truly giving you a sense of freedom for you to explore the many aspects and elements of the game. That…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I don't know what all the negativity is about, this game as a lot of fun. Although it can be a bit confusing and the whole curing animals thing did take me a while but when a had it all figured out it was a lot of fun. I have been looking for a managment game for a while now and this has filled the whole. Some critism when a reasearching/developing new thing for my animals it gets a bit cluttered and i cant really see around my reasearch area but apart from that a really fun game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →enjoy the game that tried to copy zoo tycoon but never did...... ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ steam!!! just put zoo tycoon on here! then i wouldn't have to play games like this which make me want to go and commit Seppuku
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very simple managment game. It is easy to learn and relaxing to play. There is no challenge in this game so if you want more difficulty then you need play something else. There is some better games like this but this is still not bad and it is cheap. Music and graphics is simple and ok.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Zoo park is an easy to learn zoo tycoon game which doesn't have overly complicated instructions that overwhelm you at the start of the game. The graphics aren't amazing but for a game like this, it's absolutely fine as it is. My only gripe with the game was having to research the animals in order to buy them. I kind of wanted to lay out how I wanted my zoo right from the start, but was unable due to that, which is fine, just annoys me lol.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For the fact that this is decently newer then the original zoo tycoon franchise by such a large date margin this doesn't cut it. What's able to be done in this game is so linier and generic that it's a struggle to even play an hour of this game. The graphics are laughable and the game play is so lacking it's not even funny. If you want an enjoyable zoo simulation game look else where like the zoo tycoon franchis from 2001 which blows this game out of the water.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I am a fan of management games in general. Usually I do enjoy even the mediocre games. But this game in particular has felt so bland. There's a couple of animals, that is amazing. And some great customization is also there. But overall it just honestly lacks enjoyment. After a couple of minutes I felt very bored. I tried to push through, my zoo was small. Perhaps it gets better when it gets bigger. Well, I gave it a try, I filled the entire land. But it honestly didn't feel satisfying at all.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Decent casual zoo management game, even though it quickly gets a bit repetitive... but isn't this the case for all games of this genre?
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I though it just like Zoo Tycoon, atleast the first one, but no. It have limited gameplay and limited animel. If you want unlock animals, you have to wait like 10 minutes each. There are no money in this game, but instead a currency called reputation which have few or none of management value. > If you like a simple animal park management that only focus on animal building this is for you. This game felt just like playing an old Facebook zoo games. Yeah you know which one.. > But If you like…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Let me start by saying, that I've barely scratched the surface of this game. I'm 20 minutes in and only have 2 animals in my park, both of the same species. This is NOT Zoo Tycoon, which is what I came in wanting, and expecting. This is NOT a budget version of Zoo Tycoon. This isn't even Wildlife Park, this is pretty much it's own game. Research plays a large role in the game- starting out, you're only going to have a base exhibit. You can't blow everything at the start and expect to make…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Even Facebook has better versions of this crap.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is a cute little zoo simulation game with ok 2D graphics (a little better 2D graphics than zoo tycoon 1's graphics) the animal selection is good, with animals from all four hemispheres of the planet and all seven continents.I really don't have any thing bad to say about this game but if they realease any sort of dlc add marine animals or dinosaur/prehistoric creatures.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There's something wrong with these animals, they get sick WAY too often. Zoo park is a simple builder game where you are tasked with building and maintaining a zoo (obviously). It seems like it may have been designed to be played on phones or tablets with a simple interface and basic graphics, but it's cheep and it does provide a bit of fun for anyone who likes building something and then watching it make money in game ("prestige" in this case). Good -nice variety of animals and park…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its enjoyable for what it is. An older zoo simulation game. I play it to relax and that's what it does.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not a bad game at all, especally for the price. Only minor annoyance is animals get sick without warnning half the time as you fast forward. And then finding all the animals and trying to click on them is difficult with all the plants they require to have. Add an option to hide the plants and notifiy every time one gets sick and it's a good game to pass the time.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great Atmosphere, great gameplay, simplistic.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Feel like Rollercoaster Tycoon has lost all of your interest? Cities Skylines not cutting your cake? Try out this hidden gem in the rough! Okay, so this game is in no means perfect. But one thing for certain, this game is a freakin' boatload of fun. I have enjoyed just sitting there for hours just watching my animals mate and building them their dream habitats. Make your visitors feel welcome to your new and improved dream park! Build many attractive features such as; statues of the many…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I could spend so much time, the game has a nice ambience and is very accessible.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Hello to all zoo tycoon fans, this game may look like a good knockoff brand but it is not! we all loved the core game-play of zoo tycoon at first glance this does too but this game ruins all of the old mechanics of the original zoo tycoon. the controls are horrible, the logos and quick menu is bad, building exhibits is the worst! you don't even place fences it just auto pops up! (per square click and drag) the game-play is terrible with no real differences on what ever you do! nothing…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tutorial needed.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Let me start by lowering your expectations. If you have played Zoo Tycoon 1 or 2 then you will be dissapionted with this game. Zoo Tycoon 2 is obviously much higher end in terms of graphics and overall gaming satisfaction but if you are a lover of simulation games related to zoos and managment then this is not a bad game to add to your collection. If I was a gamer that wasn't familar with either of the Zoo Tycoon games then this game would probably be a bit more fun because I wouldn't know any…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →the only problem for me was have to go animal to animal trying to find who was sick and who wasnt. it be better if there was a page that showed all the animals but if you liked RollerCoaster Tycoon then you should like this. the only problem is that its just one big area and there not much to it just make pens for animals and wait till the have babys and build up money repeat,
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a fun game, but it's old and simple. (How old? It lists Windows XP as the minimum spec.) This is not a game about constant micromanagement, but rather, is a game dedicated mostly to having fun expanding. Depending on your desires, this could be a good thing or a bad thing. As long as you halfway manage your money, this will generally be a very easy experience focused mostly on building out with more and more exhibits. Once you research keeping an animal healthy (which goes much faster…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A good game for relaxing casual play. It is a little dated feeling and isn't the best thing ever but for me I think the feel of it being an older Windows XP era game is a positive thing. I like it and enjoy it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →While the game is very cheap, I would not recommend this product. This was something I bought on a whim because I loved Zoo Tycoon so much, plus it was on sale for less than a dollar. I thought, "Why not?" To start with, the controls are absolutely dreadful. You can only use a mouse to navigate around your park and for a while I knew only how to zoom in and out. It didn't give you a controls screen that would easily help you to understand how you are supposed to play. If they did, it wasn't…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It really is just a worse version of Zoo Tycoon. It is so similar to Zoo Tycoon in a bunch of ways but just with much clunkier gameplay.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is too easy and simplifies many things compared with a common tycoon game. Fun in the beginning, but after that it's only a repeat of research new animal> put them in a habitat> make money> start another new animal research.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A serviceable Zoo Tycoon clone. Nothing revolutionary, but it does what you'd expect with little to no frustration. Good for the price, if on sale (which it often is). edit: Added about the price only being good if it's on sale. I wouldn't call this a $10 game in 2016.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Didn't expect anything of this game and had had it in my steam library for a few mouths before getting banned in CSGO and trying it out. Great game 8/10 because graphics could be better but it is very easy to run!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very nice little casual simulator, not a whole lot of super micromanagement, but just enough to give you something to do. Has a huge amount of research stuff, doing the animals and "upgrading" the animals is pretty satisfying. I like the fact that although the amount of areas isn't super huge, what you think may be short work is soon realized to take a very long time (gamewise) to unlock everything, lending to some very long term work. It may be a tad more simplistic than some bigger animal or…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is not meant to accurately reflect zookeeperhood. That said, it's fun, relaxing, and removes a fair amount of the "Zookeepers have to do WHAT?" from the game. I had fun, and the kid enjoyed watching me play. I'm sure whenhe's old enoguh to mouse he'll play himself.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just a perfect game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →best game evvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvers
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →reminds me of zoo tycoon i used to play a while back ago. Love it!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If I remember correctly, it was just not good.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →PROS: * The inclusion of conservation efforts is a nice touch, though it could have been more detailed. CONS: * Seriously outdated and clunky. There’s no reason to buy this game when there are far more detailed and modern zoo management games available. * No option to turn off trees, making it frustrating to find and heal sick animals hiding in bushes. * Crashes occasionally when the zoo grows too big due to the number of visitors.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A simulator game where you get to build your own zoo. The graphics are outdated and there is no easy way to keep track of your animals health (and they do get ill a lot) but it was good enough to keep me entertained for a few hours.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →twitch.tv/mothergamer Tonight we're checking out Idle Zoo Park for the first half of stream. Not sure what we're playing after, maybe Animal Crossing or something chill. Thank you to Ocean Media for the game code for Idle Zoo Park!
unlabelledView post →Haven't seen anything past the main menu. I use this to do a steam remote connect from my laptop so I can play non-steam games. Works great! Connect -> minimize this and there you go. 10/10 would minimize again.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you're an avid tycoon player like me, then this game is really really fun!! Fooooor about 6 hours. It's really easy to master and the game gets a bit tedious after a while. The tutorial is absolutely incomprehensible at times, and there isn't enough of one. Example: I still don't know how to boost my guest's excitement level. I've put in multiple attractions, habitats, "features", and food stands and still couldn't get guests to give me a perfect score. Also, shelters are not explained in…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Why does this publisher publish such sh!t games??! Not surprised I was looking at a different game and came to check the publishers other failurers and low-and-behold, the game I installed and pretty much instantly uninstalled just today. I expected Zoo Park to be similar to Zoo Tycoon - anything to keep me from forking out dough for Zoo PLanet - Zoo Park fails miserable!! Not, I like quirky games and find a lot of gems in indie titles, but the UI on this game makes is so unplayable I don't…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I can't even run this one. Apparently I could at one point but now it requires it to be run on the integrated graphics card? Nope. Uninstalling and not recommending. I'd played enough before to know that it is a very basic tycoon type game. Something more suited to mobile than for PC.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i just want zoo tycoon on steam, is that to much to ask for???
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →bugged! I got stuck in introductory tutorial. There might be some gameplay if you play the sandbox mode, but I do not know if that's so good.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not a fan, got it on sale and even that wasn't worth it. Just a very bog standard zoo manager
