It's usually pretty hard to tell what's going on. If you just want an incredibly simple game to grind with very light food/durability mechanics, I guess it's serviceable. I wouldn't pay any more than 5 bucks for it though, and even that's probably too much.

The new script either dumbs down some important plot points or gives certain characters different personalities. Also its just ridden with typos. I highly recommend you play the original release on either Nintendo DS or PSP, but in all fairness those versions are extremely hard to find. But if you have no choice but to play this version I honestly cannot blame you.

It is unfortunately grindy and scales poorly. However, if you DID play this on your iPod Touch, you have likely noticed that you are old now. Playing this game may take you back to your younger days when you didn't constantly have joint pains and existential dread.
