Because they are a recognized, billion-dollar studio and my game isn't well known, some people are now assuming that their version is the original, and mine is the clone. I hope this video clears that up.

I’ve seen every type of pixelated titty physics the industry has to offer — from stiff cardboard bounces in old games to the overcooked gelatin wobbles in modern gacha trash. But nothing, and I mean nothing, prepared me for what miHoYo cooked up in Zenless Zone Zero. The moment I loaded into the game and saw the girls moving, my soul left my body. The boob jiggle physics in ZZZ aren’t just good. They’re divine. They’re not just…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A fantastic action game trapped inside a predatory business model. The Good: Let's be fair: the combat is incredible. The animations are razor-sharp, the music slaps, and it runs beautifully on PC. Visually, it’s one of the most stylish games on Steam. The Bad: Unfortunately, all of that brilliant game design is completely strangled by an aggressive, anti-consumer gacha model. If you download this game because you saw a cool character in a trailer, be prepared for a massive reality check. The…

unlabelledView post →TLDR: Zenless Zone Zero is a great gacha game for players who: - have open-world fatigue - want to finish dailies within 2 minutes - enjoy satisfying action combat with high skill ceiling optimizations to discover - want a story presentation with any effort in animation (lol HSR) - are fans of electronic & EDM music (soundtrack is fire) - want some more tasteful character designs, but not full-on gooner level - want to be F2P I've played since launch in 2024 on 2 accounts, both f2p* (besides…

The Whole Gacha Genre is truly something, its built upon making players complacent enough to not whine about how predatory the genre of these games, progression is not fun and it drags you to waste time, keeps you in a prison, with sunk cost fallacy, FOMO engineering, and other forms of addicting bias, despite the obvious indifference the developers has with its own player base because they know, well play it regardless. it…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have hundreds of hours in Zenless Zone Zero and have been playing since Version 1.1 through HoYoverse's launcher. Now that it's finally on Steam, it's the perfect time to leave a review. First, some context: I don't like gacha games. In fact, ZZZ is the only gacha game I play. Zenless Zone Zero is a different breed entirely. Its visual design language, art direction, animation quality, soundtrack, and combat system are unlike anything I've experienced in any other game. It's the last place…

At this time back then, I remember sitting in the login screen, watching those movie trailers from the world of the game as I waited excitedly for the servers to open. Ever since then, I’ve logged in religiously every single day for a total of 731 days—a long time if I may say so, during which I’ve witnessed how much the game has changed and how much it has grown (for better or worse). Plot and Story…

I’ve been very much skeptical towards the genre: the way you have to earn characters, the fact that the story has not been finished and it’s basically a live-service type of content which stretches out for many years, and the list goes on. But Zenless Zone Zero somehow captivated me. Not by the curvy shapes of female characters (well, that too, but that’s not the point), not by the reputation of a “gooner game” or…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Out of all the gachas I've played, this one genuinely feels like a love letter to its community. Its incredibly generous to its F2P playerbase. It actually releases updates to bring characters falling behind back into relevance while not requiring money to do so. They've updated gameplay elements that slowed down the experience of its high octane combat action. If they can land their 2nd anniversary this late July, I could argue that there is not a better time to try this game out. You have…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Honestly, when I was starting playing Zenless Zone Zero, I expected gooner game with decent combat system and half-decent story - as excuses to have players play the game and "immerse" in characters "cultured designs". That kind of game. While the part about characters is true, I was a bit surprised the game is so much more. Except being very cultured, some characters got interesting personalities and backstories, Some were treated better (Hugo, Miyabi) and some worse (Nekomata...). Generally…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I am not playing this game for the proxy lore, I am playing this game with ONE HAND. Hoyo cooked a certified masterpiece with Nicole Demara and I am actively losing my mind. Nicole's massive honkers are carrying the entire cunning hares economy on their back and the physics engine deserves a raise. whenever Nicole spins that briefcase I am barking at my monitor. Nicole is only an A-rank so maxing her mindscape cinema was an easy pull but I need Hoyo to stop edging us and drop a limited…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It breaks my heart to have to write this review, as ZZZ was one of my favorite games, and literally the only game from Hoyoverse I liked. I loved the urban fantasy theming, the post apocalyptic but fun world of New Eridu, all the stuff you could do in game and the funny characters. However, the game for the past year has had an identity crisis and has become an unfun farcry of the game I fell in love with back in July 2024. Everything in this review is the grievances of a player with over 500…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like to describe Zenless Zone Zero (ZZZ) as "Persona ARPG." If you love the style, vibe, characters, and storytelling of the mainline Persona games but don't enjoy turn-based combat, you'll probably love ZZZ. It captures the same stylish presentation, aesthetics, memorable characters, and strong atmosphere, but with fast-paced action combat. The Story Feels Like Watching an Anime One of ZZZ's biggest strengths is its story presentation. The game is structured like anime seasons, with…

This game has very solid gameplay and a interesting enough story for a gacha game overall. This is a really good game if you are tired of open world gacha games and prefer something more linear. But let's be honest, the art design for the characters is the reason why you are here. So come join in on the fun! P.S. They are DEFINITELY going to restrict the Artwork section to prevent NSFW artworks like…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Even though this is a negative review, I would still encourage you to try the game. It has many great things going on it. Even if it is a gacha, at the moment it is one of the most generous among the mainstream ones. It has great combat and some good QoL features, etc. But there are some things I would say are pretty bad Power creep is kinda strong. Sometimes you could clear content with older units, but most of the time you won’t be able to. -A ranks / 4 stars are looking to go extinct. The…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For some context behind this review, I've logged many hours on the official client before the Steam version, but on multiple occasions I've stopped playing and attempted to give it another shot. I think this review reflects my experience with ALL of Hoyo's games, unfortunately. The game world they've built here is very cool. The music is super catchy, the character art is incredible, and the combat is pretty fun. But I'm really not a fan of a few things: - if you're not actively keeping up…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Gameplay is fine, and the gacha system is pretty standard for a HoYo game. But the game's art direction has gone from peak to just "meh." There's no longer that unique blend of cyberpunk and late-'80s aesthetics in either the world or the character designs. It feels like the game has lost its distinctive style. Just look at Yi Xuan, Lucia, Yidhari, and now Sunbringer. They all look way too similar. The factions have become boring too. Most of them just look like random guys and girls from…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I adore ZZZ. I'm not much of a gacha player to be honest, but Zenless stuck with me as soon as I played it during the first month of its release 2 years ago. Don't let the fact this game is made by Hoyoverse sway you into thinking that this is virtual gacha slop. ZZZ has incredible gameplay, characters, locations, and music that has stuck with me since I started playing years ago. Please try it and I bet you'll enjoy it too.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is easily the most polished and improved title in the entire Hoyoverse games, especially when it comes to storytelling, narrative, combat, animations, and qol updates. I've been here since day one but took a break around version 2.0. It's finally time to come back.

I’ve been playing since launch, and it's been painful to watch the game I loved fall apart. But let’s take it one step at a time. SEASON 1 This was the golden age of ZZZ. An intriguing plot, a roster of fascinating characters with unique designs the likes of which we hadn't seen before.
