unlabelledView post →✅ Completed: Ys VI This is my fifth Ys game and it was another great one! I really enjoyed exploring the Canaan Islands and I'm realizing that, even with much less dialogue to work with than Trails, Falcom just knows how to make good, memorable NPCs.
unlabelledView post →The other game I’m playing right now is Ys VI in a ridiculously high widescreen resolution, and if you’re one of those “they should have kept graphics at PS2 levels and just made them HD” people, boy do I have the game for you
unlabelledView post →Found a copy of Ys VI at Record Head in West Allis! My first time seeing anyone Ys game in the wild. 👀
unlabelledView post →Starting up Ys VI today and my save file is immediately shaming me for not playing through the game again during the past 19 years.
unlabelledView post →The randomizer for Random Game Saturday gave me Y, so here’s one of the more unique pieces I have. When Ys VI came out in the US, publisher Konami ran a boss rush contest; I placed high enough to win this 🇯🇵 collector edition, with the game swapped out for a US version signed by the Konami producer.
unlabelledView post →I think Oath in Felghana is quite a bit harder than Ys VI. It also feels like a great development of that game. The dungeon and boss design is much more varied; but I also like how it’s got a different atmosphere to VI too - though of course, ruins feature heavily😜 still love VI though #ys #blutoid
unlabelledView post →Wow the Ys VI soundtrack is incredible, how have I never been on this before. Sounds like a 90s arcade schmup and it's a 2003 pc game. Incredible.
unlabelledView post →I relaunch my YS VI game ! Now, I try to find a falcon named Sieg and a princess Klaudia here #ys #adol #jrpg #falcom
unlabelledView post →3. Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim trying to pick a favorite ys game is so difficult but something abt VI really clicked with me (it was geis. I love geis so much man. I need more geis falcom pls)
unlabelledView post →Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim [Completed 9/25/2026] Good game. I actually might prefer this over Felghana? Very short and sweet. I love Ys, never a true miss in this series. Dungeons were a bit of a low point but never over-stayed its welcome and bosses were lots of fun!!
unlabelledView post →I just navigated a virtual Windows environment on my AYN Thor to get to the steamapps folder where I have Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim installed so I could run the configurator and set up the buttons and set the resolution to 1080p instead of 1024x768 and it fucking worked. I love computer.
unlabelledView post →That Adventures of Elliot game is giving off such powerful Ys VI/Felghana/Origins vibes
unlabelledView post →Think the next game on my PS2 backlog will be Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim. Looking for a fun game that is also on the shorter side to balance some of the massive Atlus RPGs that have no respect for my time 🙃
unlabelledView post →Here's where I tell you all that I'm making this fan site because I began the Ys franchise at the start of the year, and now I'm on my EIGHTH Ys game. I've been a massive Final Fantasy fan for ages, but Ys somehow won my heart. Enjoying Ys VI now, as I know this one ties some lore things together!
unlabelledView post →Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim is probably my favorite Ys game, but I also haven't played anything after 7 yet? This series has done so many interesting things before and since, but I really liked the elemental sword deal. Gorgeous game, and it goes without saying that it sounds great.
unlabelledView post →I learned about the Knicks because I randomly had the Angels game on while I was grinding in Ys VI and Randazzo mentioned what happened 🫠
unlabelledView post →Finished Ys VI today and finished it 100% 🥹 Another game down! Ys Seven will be next!
unlabelledView post →It's Week 44 of Achievement of the Week 2025! This week, earn "The Calamity Will Wander No More" by defeating Demi-Galba in Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim for the PlayStation 2! The new monthly achievement for Ratchet & Clank is also live! retroachievements.org/game/3300
unlabelledView post →Finally finished Ys VI on Normal tonight Not that long of a game, played for like 8 hours in May and forgot to come back to it, ended up finishing in 14 hrs or so with some optional grinding. I recommend it, although it's from 2003 so some mechanics are a little jank
unlabelledView post →Hearing Wataru Ishibashi's music in Trails in the Sky is fun. Like in Ys VI his style felt a bit unusual for that series (not bad though), but this is the first Trails game. So that's my idea of what Trails music is supposed to sound like for now. Does that make sense?
unlabelledView post →Hey folks! If anyone's interested at all in the original 3D Ys game, I'm playing through Ys VI exactly right now! twitch.tv/lierxagerate

unlabelledView post →Hi folks! Today's stream is starting a little late, my apologies! I'll be starting at 10:30 AM JST (9:30PM EDT/6:30 PM PDT), and the game on deck will be Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim! I hope that you'll come on by and say hi! www.twitch.tv/originalpocky/ See you soon!
unlabelledView post →Ys: The Oath in Felghana completely transforms the gameplay systems introduced in Ys VI, though fails to fully capitalize on these additions by attempting to recreate the sidescrolling level design of the original Ys III
unlabelledView post →this game's modern port was weirdly exclusive to Nintendo Switch (I think it still is). Back in 2019 when I bought a Switch it was one of the first games I got. Mario Tennis Aces Virtua Racing Ys VI Lacrimosa and... I think another downloadable game I'm forgetting. I know, a strange selection.
unlabelledView post →...So why does this game have a different Falcom logo than the usual one when you start it up anyway? Especially since the usual one is on the title screen... (Ys VI also had this alternate logo IIRC) #JarkesPlays #Gurumin
unlabelledView post →Void Stranger is my favorite game of all time so it’s gotta be my rec every time I see one of these. Other than that? Ys VI or Final Fantasy V are my runners up.
unlabelledView post →Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim - Ys is really good. I can definitely see how this is a less refined game compared to later entries in this generation, Origins and Felghana, but it's still really good. There's a certain charm to Ys' jankiness that's on full display here, and the story is lively and fun.
unlabelledView post →beat Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim. even if this isn't the best game in its own engine, I always liked the vibes, story, and adventure of this game more than Felghana and Origin. the grind and backtracking kind of kills itself in the gameplay department tho lol. OST is straight fucking fire.
unlabelledView post →Day 10: Favorite weapon (based on the design) Gotta go with Adol's emela swords from Ys VI. I love how the game mechanics utilize them and they look cool as hell. 😎👍 #ys
unlabelledView post →I listen to this soundtrack all the time when working on Wizards of Winorth gets me into the right headspace. It's just a wonderful soundtrack. I will also say a more recent game I've played through that I really liked the Ost for is Ys: VI The Ark of Napishtim.
unlabelledView post →127 is another superb Falcom Sound Team jdk track from Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim, a very good game that you should absolutely go out and buy right now. I love how this incorporates more modern production touches while still having That Classic Falcom Feel.
unlabelledView post →Hahahaha here to ask the tough questions mate 🤪? Though that's interesting I am yet to play Ys 1 and 2 Mine are Probably -Ys VI -Ys VIII -Ys Seven -Ys Oath in Felghana -Ys IX I'm Kinda similar in the sense that My favourite Ys game is such a random pick in Ys VI Ark of Napishtim, it's a vibe.
unlabelledView post →Even Ys VI's main field theme is this. Every other Ys game has the biggest banger in the game when you step out of the first town, but VI has this calm song instead and I love it youtu.be/jTZheAo7nCs?...

unlabelledView post →90. Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim The bosses weren't as bad as the Oath in Felghana's but the exploration, constant backtracking, and grinding just to upgrade the swords didn't feel fun for me. If I didn't have a guide open for this game, I would have been so lost.
unlabelledView post →My ★★★★ review of Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim (2003) on @backloggd.com : "Rather than deleting those things, we will make them work properly instead" bckl.gg/u2kn
unlabelledView post →Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim (2003) I love Ys games because they ask nothing more than that I save the world by running around and hitting things with a sword while listening to music produced by one of the best sound teams to ever do it. I greatly enjoyed this pleasantly uncomplicated action RPG.
unlabelledView post →I loved Mask of the Sun when we played it on SNES. it was just a fun romp and I love winged peeps so Eldeel was right up my alley Our next game is Ys VI so we're finally getting into the native 3D stuff, I'm kind of excited. I've heard great things about Dana
unlabelledView post →Day 7 of the 10-year streaming anniversary special is Ys day. I've turned to Oath in Felghana on prior occasions; this time I'm replaying Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim, the first game on the same engine. watch.cney.stream
unlabelledView post →Ys VI is great, and better in many ways for sure. But I will say, Ys III is just an easy game to randomly start playing at any moment when bored, and I think I've beaten it on more platforms than any other game in the series. I still have strong fondness for I and II, but Ys III is like easy candy.
unlabelledView post →I have got to get this game. I've been curious about this because I loved Ys VI.
unlabelledView post →The beginning and the section from 1:07 to where it starts winding down is the hypest thing on planet earth I haven't even played Ys VI but this opening conveys exactly what it's about and sells the game to you better than any trailer could and there's zero gameplay
unlabelledView post →anything for more Ys VI vibes, that game is so early-2000s-coded and im in love with that
unlabelledView post →eurgh my back hurty bad, no work today so spending it playing through my first psp game; Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim
unlabelledView post →for a minute i thought there was an old PC Ys VI online from the 2000s similar to how there was a Tales of Eternia Online lol i forgot about the mobile game
unlabelledView post →Story Order for the Ys series looks like this: -Ys I and II (One game) -Ys Origins (Prequel) -Ys X -Ys IV -Ys III -Ys VIII -Ys VI -Ys VII -Ys IX Prequel: The Lost Sword (A novel, not a game) -Ys IX -Don't play Ys V, it may or may not even be part of the canon anymore. It's ridiculous and I love it
unlabelledView post →Honestly playing Ys VI after having played Ys origin going back isn't too hard even if this game is noticeably more primitive nowadays without any of the bonuses or the exp rate multiplier the incentivizes faster play
unlabelledView post →10/11 games derusted for Ys marathon. Got a nice PB in Ys Origin, but there is still a lot to clean up. Something for later. This is probably the most difficult game for me (luckily it is the first game so fatigue hasn't kicked in lol). Final game in lineup remaining so, Ys VI Ark of Napishtim next
unlabelledView post →I think Ys VI is the first game of theirs but didn't finish it until later, it was Ys SEVEN that got me! 😌 I am still behind on Trails as well, only got to CS3 last night after finishing all the previous games!
unlabelledView post →Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim Fun game. It's the first one that was made on this game engine (which fittingly came to be known as the "Napishtim Engine") so it definitely feels more unpolished than Origin (the last game made in that engine) Still, it was a nice little adventure.
unlabelledView post →It is a fan favorite. It's a remake of the third game, done in the Ys VI engine. Not a very long game, so it's not one you need to put a lot of time commitment into.
unlabelledView post →Ys VI still still my favorite game from that era of the series. It’s soundtrack is incredible and I loved switching between the three sword styles, it kept the combat more varied and interesting then Felghana and Origin imo.
unlabelledView post →Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim. It baffles me that it was the game that saved the series.
unlabelledView post →definitive Ys playing order Ys Book I & II (PCE) Ys III (PCE) Ys IV: Dawn of Ys (PCE) (optional, kinda sucks) Ys V (SFC) Ys VI (PC) Oath in Felghana (PC) Ys Origin (PC) Ys Seven (PC) Ys I & II Chronicles (PC) (optional, ensures you never want to play a new Ys game again) Memories of Celceta (PC)
