The concept of the game isn't too difficult. Gather ingredients, mix them into potions and dispense them accordingly. All of this works pretty well. The problem with the game, however, is that the further you go, the more issues begin to arise. I realize that games like this should have a growing challenge. As I've said, my wife and I played the Overcooked…

My entire game development career I've been told "seasonal" games were never a good idea, but there aren't enough, and the world needs more of them - so kudos for breaking that mold. As for the game, I'm enjoying it a lot! It's already been said, but if you like Overcooked, this is more of the same, but in a good way. That said, Witchtastic has enough variation to feel unique,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is so much fun :-) Get some friends and just go play it. Seriously the 4 player coop is already very very fun to share. You can either do couch co-op or play online. The game doesn't make a secret out of its big role model Overcooked but that actually helps it as it takes all the strengths but add more cool ideas. Whether it's wolves suddenly chasing in or ghosts that are both ingredients but also obstancles, the game finds great ways to add stuff that just works to expand the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An overcooked clone i'd rate pretty highly, can't say it does anything particularly groundbreaking but the game is just fun, and in this genre how it feels to play is a huge factor. Smooth gameplay with mostly well designed levels(bar a few that were mildly frustrating but nothing egregious) Nice amount of content, enough variety in recipes, enemies and mechanics to keep things fresh, yeah just a solid addition to the genre if you're a fan of these games or like witches then it's a winner
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is a lot of fun, especially in coop mode! It feels very much like Overcooked with witches, but there are quite some differences that make it unique. Tools like chopping boards and pestles can be carried around, which adds a lot of flexibility on how you play each level. No player is locked into a specific location on the map, so it's very much up to the team, to find out what works best. I really like it. Additionally, who would've thought that you'll enjoy slapping your teammates…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Uninspired game. Awful controls, imprecise, frustrating and not fun.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So much fun to play!!! A lot like Overcooked, a game I also love, but without some of the frustrating elements of Overcooked! I would love more games about making potions like this, and the multiplayer element makes it even better!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Overcooked with witches. What's not to love?
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Yelled "SUCK THE GHOST" unironically. 10/10 best game. P.S. The developers are quick to reply to bugs/suggestions so rest assured, it won't be an abandoned Early Access Game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Overcooked but more stupid and less fun.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Overall its not bad, its just kind of "meh" when compared to over cooked 2. The devs had the entire world of magic to experiment with and had a unique opportunity to make it stand out, but the best they could come up with was making you drink coffee. Not terrible, just middle of the road. Check the full review out here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jYPzFk-1evg

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very similar to the Overcooked series, but with witches and potion-brewing rather than cooking. The starting levels feel a bit too similar Overcooked mechanic-wise but later levels introduce some very interesting twists to the gameplay. I played the game in online co-op and the netcode held up just fine. I think Overcooked is the better game, but this is a good extension of that style of gameplay for people who want more.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Witchtastic is a handheld (Nintendo Switch)/console game that's also been put on Steam as a bit of an afterthought, as it's very much designed for the handheld/console gaming audience. Witchtastic is a pointless restaurant management platespinning type busy work game, functionally a ripoff of Overcooked, except this swaps the usual "make a recipe for the customers as fast as you can" gameplay for witches brewing potions. Ok, that wasn't what was needed to turn this genre into a triple-A PC…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Note: This review is coming from a single player only perspective. I'll update it when I play it on multiplayer. I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about this game going in, but it's been a pleasant surprise. This is the only cooking sim where I've actually wanted to play it single player and have already nearly completed it. Witchtastic definitely takes inspiration from Overcooked as countless others have mentioned before, but there's certainly enough little twists and turns to make it…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really fun little co-op game! The witch theme is great and something the world needs more of and that's an objective fact sorry I don't make the rules It really requires you to manage things and delegate tasks well, otherwise you get overwhelmed quickly and everything unravels. The controls are the tiniest bit finicky - you need to be right on top of things to drop them where you intend to. But overall it's a lot of fun! At the end of each level I found myself going "we can do better, let's try…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of my favourite game so far. Game play is interesting and challenging. Best resource and time management game. Enjoyed playing local co-op with my friends. Already broke one game pad but still playing. Keep it up Team Witchtastic. Looking forward for more levels and challenges.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is such an underrated game IMO. As an Overcooked enjoyer, I have tried various similar cooking games but this is the only one I can say scratches the same itch while having its own distinct identity. Pros: - Charming and consistent witch/spooky theme in both design and execution - Controller support - The production value feels very refined. The graphics, music, sound effects, voice effects, etc. all come together nicely which makes me surprised how little known this game is - Realistic…

unlabelledView post →If you've ever played Overcooked - you'll love Witchtastic! With a small twist - it's actually even better! Overcooked mostly induced rage for me and my livestreaming partner, where Witchtastic kept everything fresh with gameplay mechanics and new recipes and overall flowed much smoother. I genuinely wish there was more content for it or a sequel now that we've completed it. Here's a link to our livestream if anybody is interested in a more in-depth look.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Witchtastic is an over all fun game when you can get a group together. It has some life in the solo gameplay but shines. You gather a party of witches to start making potions with various ingredients that must be delivered to delivery points on a small always changing map. While it lacks the cutesy charm of over cook it makes up for it in interesting hazards tied to a fantasy theme. This is over all a good title if you can get at least one other player and a lot of fun for those that are fans…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great if you're looking for an Overcooked-like experience!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I won this game from a livestream key giveaway, and boy am I glad I did. This game is wonderful to play with your friends or family. I played with my wife and it's a great game to bond over. It reminds me of Overcooked but it has certain unique features like being able to move your chopping boards and being able to move faster without messing the other players up. I really enjoy it and the aesthetic and art is amazing. I can't believe this is the company's first game and I really hope it…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good Concept, Frustrating Execution TL;DR: A fun gameplay loop that is often hampered by technical jank. If you're chasing perfect Gem rewards, the bugs and unreliable controls will be your biggest hurdle. It's a "Mixed" bag that is enjoyable at its core, but expect some mechanical friction. Note: I am marking this as "Recommended" because the game is fun when it works, but please read the warnings below before clicking buy. The Good: Why I keep playing Engaging Concept: Simple to…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a very cute game, especially fun to play in multiplayer! Reminds of Overcooked but with a fun witchy twist on it. Great mechanics and level design! Edit: just played the additional levels that came for free in the update, they are really well designed, especially the "special" ones - race and forest!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →My wife and I are completely obsessed with co-op cooking challenge games (Overcooked-esque), and this one is our absolute favorite! Great variety of levels and mechanics, and VERY well balanced for 2 players - getting 3 gems on every stage is possible but challenging.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A very fun game in the style of Overcooked and other stress-inducing teamwork games, with a very cute theme and unique mechanics! I always love playing it with my friends! It's truly an underrated entry into the genre and if you like those types of games, this one will not disappoint. It also runs very well even on more outdated hardware, so your buddy who's still using her 6 year old gaming laptop will still be able to join the fun! If the devs see this, though, I would ask for a more…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is not Overcooked but a bit “Undercooked” Don't forget to visit my [url=https://store.steampowered.com/curator/44750396/] Curator's page for more recommendations! I must confess: I am a big fan of Overcooked. However for some reason it took some time to find a game which would have the same idea but which still would be unique and entertaining. I must confess again: I found such a game. Why do I we all like the Overcooked dilogy? Challenges, cooperation, cute graphics and FUN!…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really fun and creative little game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fantastic co-operative witch brewing game. Seamlessly play with people online or sitting next to you -becomes more and more hectic and difficult as you scream at your friends and blow up your cauldron https://youtu.be/QMqitHMHTr4
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun little cooking game, but ultimately doesn't match the competition in its current state. I wish controls were tighter and the scoring system was more engaging. Full Review: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jYPzFk-1evg
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So far, I've really enjoyed my time with witchtastic and can definitely recommend it wholeheartedly! The controls feel really good and I find the artstyle (including sounds) to be very charming as well. I like that you can put different levels of effort (and skill) into the game and it always is fun. You can just play super casually and chaotic (which also makes it a great game to play with your non-gamer friends or partner) or you can try to really optimize (which seems to be necessary to get…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Overcooked, but witches 🐈⬛🧹
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you have a friend who is bad and malding at platform puzzle games, you will love it. Jokes aside, I liked the originality from chapter to chapter to keep it fresh and the cosmetics along the way are not only pretty, but give you a wide enough range for customizability. Though, for a witch game, there wasn't enough broom customizations and only one of them made a unique sound when used. When I first played it solo, it was definitely far more difficult and had to quit half way before the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Love the game! Me and my sister were looking for another game after being abandoned by overcooked franchise with no further game or levelreleases :( This one hits the spot and is so fun, so much sighing and awkward silences, the witch scream is hilarious which my sister does about every 15 seconds lol. Definately keen for some new levels and make sure you charge for it this time as we want to keep supporting you guys :) Also for those who play, using a xbox controller is HEAPS better than…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a charming and clean remake of Overcooked. I liked this even more than that.

unlabelledView post →This is probably my all time favorite game, but the problem is that once you have played it through once, you become so good at it you no longer find any of the levels challenging. I would LOVE to play new levels of this game, earn new DLC or skins, or play a new game nearly identical to this (maybe alchemists?) It's SO good and I crave it, but because I've now beat it with 3-stars in every level in under 90 minutes at least once, it's just not a challenge anymore. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE make a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A great game! Loved playing as singleplayer or with people, some levels can be challenging and you have to find a "flow" it feels so good when you're working like a well oiled machine with other people. Getting three gems is a highlight in this game because you feel like you're accomplishing not just good but great!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Witchtastic is a delightful and challenging co-op game that is great for anyone who likes overcooked but hates dealing with customers. Pros - Multiplayer can be via two copies of the game or remote play and plays well either way. - Good natural pacing which adds difficulty and new elements at a healthy pace to keep it manageable but challenging including enemies to avoid - Customizability options to unlock and make your witch unique Cons: - Not very solo play friendly - Controls have a bit of…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Super fun and definitely better with friends :D figuring out the trick to each level to get all the gems feels very fun and rewarding. Definitely had a great time with this one, would certainly play through again with new pals!!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you still have it, I'd like the Witchtastic code to play with my wife.
unlabelledView post →i got this game for free after someone reached out to me because i love games like these, i would go pro in overcooked if i could. this game was really nice! i like the aspect of foraging for your own materials, you can customize your witch as you go, and i especially like that you can still play solo, whereas games like overcooked, solo mode is almost putting you at a further disadvantage! would recommend this game to others who like these types of things :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →BAD WITCHES ONLY.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I came into the game with the mindset of it being a cheap Overcooked "knockoff", but boy was that unwarranted. This game takes the whole concept to a new level with new creative ways to challenge the player. The game was easy enough to get into instantly and quickly get going, and the character customization is super fun to differentiate yourself from your teammates. The strength of the game is definitely the creative new ways of both obtaining ingredients and delivering them, also adding foes…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I enjoy this game a lot, it has a cute aesthetic and it doesnt feel clunky. Who doesn't love witches? Would reccomend!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very much like Overcooked, but witch themed. Lots of fun with friends!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really fun game :D If you played Overcooked you will most likely enjoy this one :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Love it! Really hoping they add more to it -- more levels, maybe witch potion names so I can know what delightful concoctions we're making, and maybe a "new game/clear progress" option? I'd also love more levels that don't just progress to slime and eyeball monsters, but still have that charming, witchy, autumnal vibe like the first level with all the little witch cottages and pumpkins. My sisters and I adore this game though -- even play "hide and seek" and "tag" sometimes in the level…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Like some have pointed out, it has the same concept as Overcooked but I find this a wee bit better as it's magical and I love. A little glitchy but that's to be expected with early access. I'm looking forward to the rest of the maps and such! :}
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Witchtastic is a lively cooperative potion-brewing game that transforms the familiar pressure of time-management games into a colorful adventure about aspiring witches. Developed by Red Fur Games and published by Application Systems Heidelberg, it revolves around preparing magical recipes as quickly and efficiently as possible while navigating increasingly troublesome environments. Its premise is easy to grasp, but the simplicity is deceptive. Once several orders, ingredients, hazards, and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Awesome game :) Devs sent me 2 free keys a while back and several of my friends wound up buying it as well. So excited there is an update today with new levels!!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a great co op game and our local party of 3 had a great time playing, with a vibe similar to overcooked but with a tough of witch craft. There were a variety of levels and environments. If you enjoyed overcooked or are looking for a fun co op game Witchtastic is definitely worth a try!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →really cute & fun witch version of "overcooked". REALLY NEEDS other skin tones :) please!!!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a great game that scratches the Overcooked itch far better than any other game I've tried since then. Deserves more attention and praise
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I would really like to give this one a thumbs up. But: the controls are horrible and we miss feedback whether something is picked up or not. We stopped playing frustrated. :(
