The story ideas are there, the setting is interesting, and the mechanics could have made this a fun zombie survival game. Unfortunately, this feels like wasted potential. I really enjoyed the beginning. The early game interested me, but around the 35% mark things started going downhill. The game increasingly becomes repetitive fetch quests with occasional kill quests to mix things up. By around 60 to 70%, I was regularly running past…

If set to private, it's stuck at "connecting to players" regardless who starts it. If set to public, It's stuck at "connecting" regardless who starts it. If I do give remote play, it fails for him. If he does remote play Graphics are unplayably bad for me. Entire reason I bought it was for co-op and it doesn't work.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →do Not buy, nothing since Oct. '24, the devs have abandoned it
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I had a game breaking issue and I contacted their support team, they had me send them my save so they could troubleshoot. Couple days later they roll out a patch and resolved my issue. 10/10 Customer support, Shout out to Adrian.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Until the Sept update I would have recommended this game. Unfortunately, the update brought Horde mode and you cant turn it off yet. I love controlling the zombies and exploring but I don"t like the mandatory base stuff. The questing, exploring and controlling zombies is fun. The forced base building and protecting is not. I tried liking it but it is not my style of gameplay
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was REALLY enjoying this game until I encountered a progression-breaking bug during 'Spy Dudes vs. Dr. Uppersmith' where you are supposed to activate a series of buttons. The developer put a total of four buttons in the zone, and only three of them have actions tied to them. You're supposed to press the first button to get a walkway to move, so that you can progress to the next button, but that first button has no action tied to it. Restarted, verified game files, even tried the beta branch;…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is NOT worth $30. You'll see everything the game has to offer within 3 hours. Flat story, monotonous combat, and the main draw of hijacking a zombie to do stuff for you is more limited than the trailers let on. Din't waste your money on this.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game was really fun, if you have the time and money to waste you'll probably enjoy a playthrough but there's no end game or replay-ability. To me, endless hordes for no reason, with no purpose is boring af
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game features a few clever ideas and interesting implementation marred by a gameplay loop that can't quite hold up over the entire playtime, getting stale by the last third. While it's a shorter experience, for a smaller studio release it's respectable if you aren't expecting too much. What drops this game below par is the technical problems. The pathing for your personal zombots is awful, somehow managing to get hung up on every possible obstacle and corner. Even in a barren snowfield,…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I remember playing the other zombie top down games these guys made, pretty interesting but nothing earth shattering. For some reason I guess adding an empty world with the same 4 things to do is worth making another game. $30 is way too much, maybe if it was early access but as it stands its a pass. The marketing material though is quite good, but don't worry the beautiful little intro cinematic is played right at the start and the rest of the game is just okay voice actors over near static…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is How to survive 2 but with less plot and more simple. For me it is too much running XX kilometers to kill few zombies only. The camp building mechanics is too limited. It doesnt make any sense to build it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →We loved this game until a game-breaking bug stopped our progression. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed playing through this game together... until we hit the main quest objective "Find the Skull Shack." We've now spent hours searching, combed through internet forums, and consulted multiple AI assistants. Multiple sources confirm this is a known script bug with no working fix. We've tried every troubleshooting step we could find. Nothing worked. We're now unable to progress the main story and…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really wanted to give this a thumbs up but the game is just too hard. I spent many hours progressing and really having fun with the game and then when I got about halfway through and got to about level 33 or 34 it just became almost impossible, they need to have either cheats or some kind of easier mode so that people can actually finish the game. I don’t have time to do the same quest 30 or 40 times. Sorry the game is just too hard. They need to do something about that for me to change my…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This Game has none of the charm or interest of How To Survive 1 or 2. Its Poorly Optimized as hell, while not even having anything worth looking at to cost me this much memory/fps... The melee system feels awful, the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ character locks onto and slides over to what youre attacking like some bootleg batman game.. Guns are not that pleasant feeling, they just kinda shake your screen a little when they shoot and thats it, a pellet gun would have more recoil when using a bipod than this…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really wanted to like this game. Bought it despite the low user ratings because I enjoyed How to Survive 1 and this looks like it has good humor and an interesting spin on the usual zombie bashing games. However I couldn't get past the first boss: the loading screen. Launching this game hard locked my computer. I tried for over an hour to get it to work. Updated my drivers, including a clean install on the graphics drivers. Disabled steam overlay like I saw suggested online. Tried every…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good idea, but not too many hours of gameplay, if you're effective, its over within 20 hrs. I like the game, but it doesnt defend the price as it is at this stage. Finished the game when it came out, wanted to wait with this review to see if the game would "pull me back in", it doesn't really. In my gameplay I took things slow, milked another 10 hrs out of it. Would recommend, but the price for what feels like a not complete game prevents this.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Poor performance, hiccups, random crashes and even worse: unfunny, easy and boring
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →fetch quest the game, not really worth its full price get it on discount or something
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Don't listen to the negative reviews. Yes the game is a little janky but overall is really enjoyable, it looks good and progression is also good. Stutters a bit when entering/loading areas but it's for like half a second, no big deal.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Decent game but towards the end became far too tedious. The game started showing issues at the warehouse area being just a mess of wandering around open another area and wander. Then Pushing Kate around on her wheelchair the bit was funny at first but getting her to the cave was honestly insulting on how long the mission was with how bad the controls were. Finally the snowmen mission instead of giving the mission at the start of the biome you now have to back track to destroy 15 of them that…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Welcome to ParadiZe is a top-down twin shooter, and as a result, the gameplay is well-structured. You can give your own mind a break, because all you have to do is mow down or shoot the zombies. This then yields a huge amount of loot, which you'll really need. You'll regularly have to repair your own camp because it's under attack. You also need the materials to craft ammunition and new weapons. Exploring the world completely unprepared is out of the question, because you'll quickly die. There…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game could be really good. But its got a ton of problems. I will easily change to a Yes you should buy this game, its cute, it would be more fun, but the combat system sucks, the balance sucks. Its not a great looking game either. Besides the overall idea, there is not much here redeeming. If this was my game, I would change a few things ASAP. I would take the level restriction off the crafting. Either don't let me craft it, or once I can craft it let me use it. Crafting something only to…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →In my opinion, this is the best survival game you can get for $2; it won't disappoint you, but don't set your expectations too high, as it is a truly unique game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Controlling two zombies is not entertaining enough to build an entire game around. Add 6 other new game mechanics and we'll talk.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Overall: 4/10 At First you will be like Oh Cool!!! That's pretty funny! Oh Wow I can ride my zombie! First couple hours you see a lot of new trinkets and zombie armor types that you can collect! I was like oh man they have some cool Ideas! Can't wait to see what they keep coming up with! And that was it, hardly anything new after a few hours... Sad panda, Worst part is the base building... you can't upgrade the base for HOURS. - Finally get the part you need to upgrade the armory, just…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Written By Hidden Gems Review : https://store.steampowered.com/curator/38624426/, Follow me! Welcome To ParadiZe is a Crafting RPG game. Successor of How to Survive 2 but with better graphics, nice Isometric Open world with the innovation of use your zombies as Brainless bots for work and fight for you, a very clever idea well executed. The story it's very funny and original where Allan Tusk (or elon musk XD) has a important role on it. Isn't the best price but has a lot of content with a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As far as I can tell this game appears to be "How to Survive 3", essentially - very similar game play with different characters and a fresh more colorful setting. There is of course the new "zombie minions" mechanic which is more fun than I expected it to be, and I dumped a lot of early XP into growing my little zombie army as quickly and efficiently as I could. It's not a perfect game but it is has none of the major game breaking balancing issues of How To Survive 1/2, and is enjoyable to…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bought the supporter edition at 80% discount. I have to say, if you are a fan of the How to Survive franchise, you'll feel at home. That being said, if you're a newcomer, there are a few things to expect. This is a very arcade-like horde shooter with fairly basic combat you can cheese with specific strategies. The gameplay is held together by fetch quests and some story with some lore for the interested. I find this acceptable because the humor of the game is pretty unique, and it makes me…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Recommended for "How to survive" fans. No any glitch or technical issues during playing. Nice story, and a good final. A perfect game to get relaxed after a long day or just during a rainy one.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Warning: this game is very buggy and very janky. Lighting is poor in places, pathfinding is unreliable, you can get stuck on nothing, shadows have poor framerate, and sometimes you die to things you can't even see. That said, I still had a lot of fun with it. It wasn't what I expected, but somehow the cheesy, cringe-worthy humor helped carry the experience. Overall, it's a flawed but enjoyable game - frustrating at times, yet oddly entertaining.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun zombie survival builder. It is light on the building side, so don't expect to build large bases. It more building trap bases to protect a few crafting tables. Its a fun concept taking control of various zombies and building a team to fight alone side of you. I wish there was variation to the zombies you capture. The questing is mostly fetch quests. Over all, the game had enough to keep my attention for awhile. I'm not sure I would be happy if I paid full price for this game, but its…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a decent game, you'll probably get bored before you finish it though. The whole "protect the base" aspect needs to be done better. It isn't very good and half the time the waves are sitting around somewhere on the map getting stuck on the way to the base. Whoever built the controls around the lady in the wheelchair that you have to push around deserves to walk on a floor of nothing but LEGO for the rest of their life. Get the game on sale, play it for a few hours and put it back on the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm disapointed in this game, I had hopes it would be like How To Survive. Wich, as far as I know was their first zombie game and it had such a amazing story.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a worse version of the Fallout 4 base babysitting problem. At least in FO4 I could FT back to base as long as I wasn't overburdened. At least in FO4 there wasn't the worst building restrictions I have ever seen in a base defense game making it so you cannot possibly configure anything solid enough that you can actually venture forth and, oh I dun ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ know, PLAY THE ACTUAL GAME. The WALLS take power to build. No, they aren't actually doing anything that requires power. You have a…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Well, pretty straight forward and linear game, like the humor of it, crafting is ok, overall fun game, would love to see more DLCs for it in the not so distant future.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not worth a penny this game. Don't buy.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bought on a whim. Surprisingly a really fun game. My only complaint is base building. There’s no land big enough t to accommodate the site of the buildings and finding the “right spot” for something is near impossible. A patch for this needs to be made.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Played for 23 hours, enjoyed 3 Probably one of the worst 4th person zombie games I have ever played. Story = a terrible unimaginative mock of Elon Musk, like the man or hate him, this is just lazy to say the least, idea an execution made by someone who thinks knock knock jokes are peak comedy. base building = bland, pointless and simply sad, once again just a terrible design and execution. weapons = not too bad gets a bit boring about midway. TBH the particulars do not get…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I wish I could play this game to give a better feedback, but I cannot. The game crashes even before the main menu. So I had to stay on a crash report page for few minutes just to qualify to write a review. Never in my life I had such a pleasant off the board experience.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game style is great.........attack system and aim mechanics are bad! so much potential like Fall Out or Dead Island but Far Cry mixed with Sims....Wonderful but farfetched!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I’ve been having a blast with Welcome to Paradize! It’s like a goofy zombie game mixed with a tropical vacation gone wrong—in the best possible way. Taming zombies and turning them into helpers is way more fun than I expected, and the world is full of funny moments and cool stuff to discover. If you like survival games that don’t take themselves too seriously and give you plenty of room to mess around, this one’s definitely worth playing.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Love the concept, hate the gameplay. Tried to play this and the UI was having issues staying on the page I was currently trying to interract with, the gameplay was balanced against the player in the sense that you can be killed extremely easily regardless of what build you run and the base building which is a main focal point of the game... just requires too much micromanagement to be fun. I put in 1 hours worth of wood collecting into my wood generator and it was completely used up in about 30…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →just finished the game it's a great comedy zombie game, the plot twists are unexpected lmao.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Saddly, this game does not worth it. It look fun but it is not. You just smash again and again and again. Its very boring !
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Don’t understand the negative reviews, I have 7+hrs in Playing and am loving it!!!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's fun, basically "How to Survive 3" but with new zombie/robot game mechanic. It's the same develoepr as How to Survive 1 & 2.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun little base-builder/army-maker with a fairly lighthearted (as far as the zombie genre goes anyway), spoof-tastic story that while not an epic page-turner by any stretch of the imagination, was still fun to play through (so far). Combat felt a bit clunky at times but was more than passable for anyone capable of basic problem-solving skills or that doesn't always need the bestest, smoothest and easiest-to-operate experience possible. Very much a "casual" game where you run around, try stuff…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I am very much not a fan of building survival games. This game has proven to me why I keep trying new ones. I love the gore, I love the voice acting, the sound effects are incredible. So far, I am having a blast, and sharing it with friends. I went straight to the hardest core I could and I love when games actually let you do that. I just wish they wouldn't let you change that in the middle of a play-through, ruins the fun a bit when you can just go to easy. I do not do that. Death…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this game is an ABSOLUTE BLAST
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nacon stopped funding session skate sim to fund a game 24 people are currently playing. STOP UPDATING THIS GAME A FIX SESSION. IT HAS MORE PLAYERS THAN THIS EVER WILL.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was so over the Zombie thing that is all over the place. then i seen this and its the most fun i have had in a long time with zombieZ. I am on my 3ed play thou.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Crashes all the time, not sure if they fixed it but that's how it played at launch.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I bought this game because i was bored thought i would play for 10 mins and never play again but i was wrong really enjoying this game if you like dismantled you will enjoy this
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Base building is a more like a small side feature, not what the game is about. Its more about exploration, but it gets monotonous very soon. I would recommend this game if it was $10 or less, but $30 is just way over what this game offers.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So this game is one of those that needs a neutral button. It was fun at the start but it grew more and more frustrating the more/further you played in the game. I got to the warehouse district and I rage quitted now and uninstalled the game. Reason is, the game is just too janky. Collision with your own zombies was a dumb idea so I had to respec away from zombots getting zombots because they just kept blocking me. All areas where you need to use a booster (you know what I mean) is just…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →No depth at all to the game. It starts strong but then stops developing every mechanic it introduces.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great for zombie slaying, crafting shiz, survival game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Similar to how to survive gameplay and graphic. Good and relax game :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Zombies, Hack 'N Slash style, A bit of base building. Simple, effective. 5/5
