It's 30 minutes long and an absolute design masterpiece, so clever and full of meaning. It's now part of the Terry's Other Games collection: store.steampowered.com/app/2824580/...
unlabelledView post →Core gameplay loop and content for the VVVVVV game are complete! Release will be more like a week or two from now, to get in some polish and maybe playtesters before calling it done. I've also got a new prototype and a demake coming out in October too 👀 Busy and exciting! #pico8 #vvvvvv

unlabelledView post →I just beat VVVVVV! This game frustrated me to hell and back, but it's still the most fun I've had in days. A cute and challenging platformer with an awesome anti-gravity mechanic and really nice retro aesthetic. It's an absolute must-buy. 😁👍

unlabelledView post →A precision platformer that uses gravity flipping as the core mechanic for means of movement as compared to traditional run and jump. The concept is actually very interesting and plays out well for the most part, but backfires with inconsistent slippery movement and unavoidable collisions at some parts. This game is a quick 2 hour flipping fun if you just want to finish the story, but be prepared to turn that smile upside down like Captain V and his lost minions if you're going for full…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →After finishing and getting all trinkets, three problems stop this from actually being good. 1. As others have noted, the controls are slippery, which is probably a poor choice for any game, least of all a precision platformer. It makes the graviton string portions and vertical looping sections particularly unpleasant since you have no vertical control and even less horizontal control as your acceleration in the air seems even lower than on the ground. 2.
