43 of 43 · most liked firstPapers please but without the screening process. Gonna be honest- the RNG is rough and the best run I've had is complete vault death somewhere during the 3rd week. I assume you're meant to grind it out for better vault dwellers off the start, but there aren't enough non-binary choices to make you want to do that. New dweller comes to the door you're supposed to screen them, but you have no real direction as to how- listen to their story, if your lucky ask some questions, pass fail. There…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I don't play a lot of games on Day 1, so it was pretty fun to go into this largely blind and figure stuff out. Just a few observations after 5+ hours with the game: - I did encounter the Cyrillic language bug - for anyone looking for a solution to that, try clicking over to another language and back to the one you prefer, and it should reset. - The only other bugs I encountered were: the wrong dialogue after an event (referencing a different event entirely), and some clicking response issues.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Feels genuinely impossible. I have done a few run throughs and genuinely the best that I can do is a TPK of the entire vault on week three. It feels incredibly luck based in a way that doesn't match the decisions and type of gameplay that makes it up. There is very little information that you can get throughout the game to help you make informed decisions. A guy wants to come into your vault? Sure, I guess, you can ask him a couple of questions if you are lucky, which gives you very little…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game has a lot of potential, visual style really goes in the right direction, but right now the gameplay is rather uninteresting, the amount of things to do in a day really disappoints. Perhaps some base building, and longer character life spans to really build up a connection with your environment.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bought it because the trailer and gameplay loop looked interesting. After an hour, I refunded it. Resource management felt similar to Papers Please at first—interesting. But after a few runs, it left me wanting more. The gameplay loop wasn't enticing enough to keep me playing. Solid game though. For the price, not a huge loss. Just wasn't for me.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A simulator of sitting in a bunker. Has good variety of characters and events, some interesting strategic or moral choices. Vibes
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good idea for a game but with very basic and limited implementation. It took about an hour to get approximately half way through it, and I was so bored (with the same handful of events occurring again and again) I just couldn't be bothered to continue.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very linear with rng. Shouldn't have taken me 5 hours to complete a 10 minute game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's an ok game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really good game for a knockaround type affair. Price is nice, got the bundle with that other game (visual novel) I'll never play for $6. Only did that because it was cheaper than the game itself by a buck, yea I'm cheap... Underchoice isn't something you can play for hours and hours. The game-loop is very small and game-play can be pretty brutal so after an hour (maybe less) you're kind of done because starting from the beginning get's old pretty quick. But, it's one of those games that when…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a good game. Its not easy, but animation and graphics are good, there's some event variety. It requires some thought and strategy. Over all it delivered on the experience it was advertising.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →simulator of clicking "next" with no actual agentivity
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Today I Played: Underchoice So I had the chance to playtest it early on and I felt it had bones but it was sort of tough as hell. Now that the game is out, i'm not gonna lie I feel the exact same way, for better or worse it's a tougher vault management game. #indiegames s.team/a/3740010

Just add the feature to choose negative effects for extra starting tokens/credits. Till then, Two playthrough to week 10 was fun.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Stylish bunker management game set during a nuclear war. It has great pacing, a nice visual flair, and creates a tense atmosphere with moral dilemmas and resource management. The downside is that events and perks start repeating quickly, and the connection between choices and their outcomes is often unclear. Still, you can finish it in 2–3 hours well worth the price and its a solid pick for an evening
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Underchoice was a fun, short resource management game, where you supervise and persevere a node(bunker) under a nuclear war. The aesthetics of the UI caught my eye and it was stunning. The pacing was tight in a twelve-week cycle; I never did feel it was dragged on for too long. But there was only a little variety of events and perks. After a couple of playthroughs, you would keep seeing the same thing happen over and over again. I hope the devs will add more variants in the future. Although it…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →1/10 "If you ask an AI to write a sociopathic teenage Tumblr kid version of Papers Please, you get Underchoice." The game is a souless husk of several games you will immediately recognize. The writing is as shallow as coherent English will allow. The music is aggresively bad, like painfully bad. And I mean *painfully* bad. But if you really, really like the pseud Tumblr aesthetic, this is your game. Given the simplicity of mechanics, there are maybe 6, your success or failure almost…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like the idea of this game but it's very limited & lackluster. What you see if what you get and if you don't care for it then it's not for you.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Honestly this game is great and the idea behind it is so fun i have enjoyed playing it so far but after completing it a few times i have some issues the mutiny ending is cool but i put all my people asleep and on another situation where i sent the only person from the bunker that heard the truth to leave and gained another person who then decided he also wanted to shoot me in the head. another problem is the high council killing you like what causes that you get one fine and then boom you…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is like when you come across an AI slop video on youtube. I would say this is that. Your choices rarely matter.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is a fun small game to play to kill an hour and then leave it alone for a weeks then play through again. easy and laid back.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cool idea but they need to do smth with the randomness and difficulty.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Finally, something new. I liked the concept, which was inspired by “No, I'm Not Human,” and the Fallout-style gameplay. It's a pretty interesting and varied bunker simulator.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Всем вечер добрый👻 Ну что сказать игра достаточно интересная захватывающая 🔥 Всем зайдет наура Рекомендую 👍👍
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The stylish visual style and perfectly written dialogues make the investigation truly gripping and keep you hooked until the very end
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game's mechanics are very interesting, the atmosphere of the post-apocalypse and the soundtrack are at a good level. It's interesting to go through a couple of times, then it's not very good, then we're waiting for updates and additions.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This isn't an easy game. It's a constant balancing act on the brink of failure. You have to keep an eye on every metric. Tomorrow might be your last day.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Short, but funny and good looking.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Underchoice is a tense post-apocalyptic management game that transforms the simple act of making decisions into its primary source of challenge and storytelling. Developed by TG Indie and published by Targem Games, the game places players in control of an underground shelter built to protect the last remnants of humanity after the surface world has become unlivable. Rather than relying on action-heavy gameplay, it focuses on leadership, survival, and the consequences that emerge from every…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like the pixel art direction. The gameplay is simple but interesting. I picked this up during a daily sale on a whim and wasn't disappointed. Localization Note: The game buttons were in Russian until I changed languages in the game's option screen away and then back to english. The english localization seems perfectly fine after that glitch.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The choices are very easy to make and the only difficulty is the ones you impose on yourself. There needs to be a hard mode and there should be more results for the choices to increase replayability.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →while the verification hasn't been updated yet, this game is playable on steam deck! the button prompts don't match the deck's controls, of course, but it's easy to figure out if you're familiar with the steam deck's defaults.
