60 of 63 · most liked firstLet me start with this - it's a mobile game. That aside, it's still a great puzzler where you control Huey an Satura characters in different dream-like situations they're stuck in. There are quite many possible ways to solve the puzzles, but the main goal is still the same, to get them safely to finish or check-point whilst avoiding all the obstacles on their path. It requires quite well timed route planning and synchronisation between characters. So gameplay is simple, but puzzles do get…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is supposed to be a puzzle game. But the most puzzling aspect of it is the fact that the deathballs move during the planning phase. This forms the puzzles into a game of trial and error. Even if you know the solutions you have to try over and over again unrtil you hit the exactz second because the black spheres move even before you move. Sadly frustrating.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A challenging and engaging puzzler with charming aesthetics. This title offers 40 levels plus a few special levels. Every act which is ten levels each ends up adding a new mechanic to play around with. The gameplay itself for me rings back memories to transistor and frozen synapse. You have to plan all your movement carefully and get to the crystals. There are optional bonus crystals to collect for an extra challenge. Pros +Pleasing visuals +Relaxing and fitting soundtrack +Fun trial and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So Umiro is a nice looking game and has a unique idea, but unfortunately I dont consider it to be the one thing it is supposed to be... a puzzle game. TLDR: it's boring, save your money. Essentially you draw paths for your two characters to follow, while collecting crystals and avoiding moving black balls (contact = failure). The problem is that the black balls move before the start and timing sometimes feels like it has to be precise to the nanosecond. This leads to a lot of trial and error,…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wow this is bad. What looks like a nice little puzzle game in screenshots, actually has one of the worst gameplays I've seen in a while. The most puzzling aspect of this trial and error torture with worthless story of many ellipses is how is this "very positive"?
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Frustrating trial and error game play. You draw the path your characters take from the starting point to the end point while making sure they avoid the obstacles that result in a restart. The problem is that the obstacles move all the time even when you're planning your characters' movement so it ends up being a matter of timing when your characters start moving so they don't run into the obstacles. This is fine initially until the game throws at you levels with multiple obstacles and narrow…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Mediocre Mobile Mazes In Umiro, you need to draw paths for your characters - who walk at a fixed speed - to avoid moving black orbs. This will frequently involve having them run around in circles to stall as an orb passes by. Although you can see the corresponding position of the other character as you draw, the death orbs continue moving throughout the entire planning phase - the only way to reset their position, in order to get a known "time equals zero" for consistent results, is to die.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Umiro is a mobile app that's been dumped on Steam as if it was a real PC game (it's not)... it's a cash grab from greedy mobile devs. This mobile app is a pathing puzzle game with a couple of gimmicks, one of which really breaks any fun you might get out of the game play. Gameplay here consists of putting your finger on your iPhone screen to draw two paths for two different characters. All you have to do is pick up a crystal and get your guys to the exit. Seems simple, right? The problem…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Well worth a playthrough for puzzle fans. There are some very interesting mechanics here that I haven't seen before. On each level you draw paths to help 2 characters (blue = "Huey", red = "Satura") get to crystals on the game board. If there's just one pair of blue/red crystals on the board, they're the exits. If there are 2 pairs, then the first crystals act as mini save-points, and the 2nd are the exit. Along the way timing is critical as you need to dodge obstacles (fire and black orbs…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm about halfway through and so far I enjoy the puzzles. The difficulty gradually increases as you progress to the next level by additions of new obstacles and additional characters. The graphics are smooth and the music is fitting and very relaxing. I just think the story line is a bit unclear and, frankly, not very necessary to the game. I suppose the plot is added as an incentive to keep progressing but since it's very vague it doesn't seem to serve any other purpose. Will write a final…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →frankly, its boring. there's not enough going on, its just drawing a line and waiting for a black circle to get out of the way
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a fun puzzle game with cute graphics and interesting story. Most of the chapters were easy enough to figure out, with some I used the help of a very well made guide :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's lovely, relaxing, cute, fun and very simple; could work as a mobile game. Super lovely and cute puzzle game. It's a very short game and tho some of the puzzles will make you think a bit, it's more of a trial an error sort of game where timing is the most important thing and this, can get a bit frustrating at times. A very adorable and relaxing casual game, to me it's worth its price.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Umiro has a very immersive atmosphere that you probably won't get from the trailer. As a planning puzzle game it works very well, assuming that you like this kind of game in a first place. I am not a huge fan of this genre, but the appetite comes with eating if you know what I mean. It took me a little bit of time to get use to the gimmick, it becomes more enjoyable when you get better at it. You basically draw a path for 2 characters while avoiding objects, once you activate to movement the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Umiro makes for a relatively straightforward trial and error puzzle game, and if that piques your interest and you can ignore the frustrations of repetitive gameplay, The visuals are good, The puzzuls & The story are mid.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game is really bad. Very positive rating fooled me into buying it. Worst possible trial and error mechanism I have ever experienced. Please stay away.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A really nice, relaxed pace puzzle game, in which you must create paths for 1 or 2 characters (depending on the chapter). The story line is simple, but a bit mysterious as it focuses more on the trip to return to reality than in solving the msytery, which to me was rather nice as it gave it a very oniric feel: there is no real reason why things are as they are, they just are. The puzzles can be solved in different ways, depending on how you time yourself with the animated obstacles, how you…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really loved the game and it's beautifully drawn. Only ''problem'' I have is that when ur path is too long it just completly gets erased, which made me loose my mind a couple of times. I think a better solution would have been to not let the player continue to draw and that they would have to erase like a part, but they choose were or maybe a display where you can see how much u have left for your path! But like I said, really great otherwise, had alot of fun with it, thanks for making it<3
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →In Search of Lost Memories Maze of Remembrance Umiro is a challenging puzzle game featuring two friends, Huey and Satura, who are lost in the colorless world of Umiro, searching for their memories. By collecting colorful crystals, which also restore the world’s real colors, they will be able to piece together their memories—understanding why they are there and, more importantly, who they are. With an isometric camera and minimalist geometric shapes (in both visual and sound design),…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like puzzles but I must admit...it could be extremely frustrating at times. Still fun though.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There's a point where the heavy choreographing makes you feel like you're executing a bank robbery of sorts. It's extremely satisfying when it plays out smoothly. The levels are carefully structured but not too much so it allows the player to come up with creative solutions and that's something I love to see in puzzle games. It's also really intuitive and the controls are extremely simple. In fact, I try to find games for my younger brother with Down's syndrome to play and he figured this one…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Adorable story. Challenging puzzles. Sweet characters. And doable achievements :D
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A somewhat short, but a quite fun, Adorable, little game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great simple puzzle game. Interesting main mechanic (you give both characters a path to follow and they walk at the same time) and nicely designed levels. Short and simple, aproximately 4hs, it does well its job.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a very cute and beautiful game, the art style drew me to it immediately, I like the mechanics and the puzzles increased in difficulty at a nice pace Only complaint I have about the game is that the enemies move while you're planning so sometimes it can be difficult to plan out a path when you're not sure where they're going to be when you get there, Definitely worth it for the price
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →+ Good puzzles. +/- Timing is too frustrating with (poor?) UI. +/- (Embarrassing?) scripts. Refunded.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Get ready for a gripping experience. And by gripping, I do mean it - the game will sprout arms and staple you to the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ chair until you beat the game. Provides an unusual puzzle experience like none other, where not just the path you draw, but the timing, is also important.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The art is very beautiful, this game is worth buying because of that alone. The puzzle mechanics aren't that great but it's still an enjoyable game.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is like.. helping 2 introverts notice each other but in gods pov, puzzle form, slightly colorized. Simple yet not easy
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is a trial and error puzzle game that requires a very good timing. Sometimes you have to slow down your character by running in circles, but overall, it is enjoyable game with cute graphics and a nice short story. It is also easy to get all achievements in it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Umiro, developed by Diceroll Studios and published by Devolver Digital, is a minimalist puzzle game that emphasizes thoughtful problem-solving and visual storytelling. Released in 2018, the game presents a serene yet challenging environment where players guide two characters, Huey and Satura, through a colorless, fragmented world. Its design balances simplicity with depth, offering an experience that is both meditative and mentally engaging, appealing to fans of strategy and puzzle-based…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a dumb puzzle game where you draw the path of two people and watch them helplessly run into the things that kill them. Its bad in the sense where its not a puzzle but instead a training on the fortitude of your mind to see if you can slam as many attempts you can in their face, or try to time the path within the cycle of an orb with two separate characters at their own uncontrolled walking speed. Of course you can estimate where they'll be because of it, but it make it into a guessing…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Umiro is a cute game to play whenever you want to do something that requires brainpower with immediate reward. The ending was phenomenal and not what I expected at all. Would recommend not only downloading this game to try out, but also completing this game for the ending.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun and short, with a nice story and beautiful designs. I recommend it if you enjoy relaxing puzzle games.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This was cute and fun! I don't find it to really be all that trial-and-error based because you can work with the movement loops of the black orbs.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cute trial and error puzzle game where timing is VERY crucial for a lot of the levels. It does get beyond frustrating at points, but overall worth playing it out. Very short, with a nice storyline as well.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very beautiful.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Easy, chill, puzzle game. I only spent less than $1 on it and got my moneys worth.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I played the first 10 levels and the special level só far And i do enjoy the game alot, its fun and looks like a Nice game to 100% But i do feel like its more Timing based than puzzle based, some puzzles i do really need to start on that second to be perfect and BE able to do the level And the time never stops when u draw the line But just be creative and the Timing point is more berable
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An adorable and fun little top-down indie puzzle game.Quite relaxing and enjoyable to play for hours. 10/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Drawing paths to crystals then dying repeatedly until the murder balls align just right. Just add a character pause button, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. And why does the boy sprite look like he’s in his 40's?
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cute and fun, worth your time.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Meh. I'm not impressed so far.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Before buying it it seemed like a cool puzzle game with some fun time based mechanics( from the screenshots on the storepage) it had good reviews so gave it a go. On paper it seemed like a neat concept. Started off alright and i thought the game's main gimmick of the time based gameplay was fairly fun but it just got worse and worse as it went on. I dont know if it "just clicked" for me or something but i found that it got easier in the later half of the game which was a weird choice of…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's really hard to recommend this one unless you really like timing based puzzles. There was maybe two or three puzzles that I thought were fun to trial and error through, just because it wasn't just trying to draw the right amount of circles/lines to wait for orbs to pass (or for the other character to push a button). Since after the mid-point on that's what many of the puzzles are. Controls are also a bit fussy at times, at least on controller. Maybe it is a bit better on keyboard.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pretty nice short story. puzzles can get ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dumb, but it's worth. Would recommend holding off on playing the secret levels until after you finish the game. Makes more sense in story flow.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice little puzzler that you can finish in one sitting. +Cute characters +Kinda wholesome +Relaxing atmosphere +Short and sweet +Not too hard, not too easy It's a mobile port, but it works well with a mouse. Just ignore the unnecessary keyboard controls. It's a bit "trail-and-error" at times, especially towards the end, but a lot of puzzle games tend to be. A nice, and cheap way to spend a couple hours, and snag some achievements while you're at it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cute, short, sweet, pristine.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a decent puzzler, if a bit too focused on timing for my taste. What ruins it for me is that the erase feature, to be frank, doesn't work. Trying to erase only what you want is a pain, and if you misclick or screw it up you might erase your entire line -- a line you spent a lot of time getting right in a game where your timing needs to be pretty exact. Maybe it's better on mobile -- it's clearly designed for it. On PC, though, skip it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Quite a fun puzzle game. Takes some time getting used to it, but overall its quite enjoyable. The music and the graphics really compliment the atmosphere.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cute, short, gorgeous to look at. The challenge is mostly to find the right timeframe to start your movement. Nice atmosphere, definetely worth the buck i spend buying this on sale

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →- Umiro is a gorgeous time based, planning type puzzle game in which you guide two characters simultaneously through increasingly difficult levels. - The drawing mechanics are very smooth and easy to handle, erase and evolve as you feel your way through each level. - The art is gorgeous. - The story is very cute (I highly recommend getting all the Yellow Crystals for the True Ending <3 ) - Absolutely pleasant experience with beautiful ambient music to boot. - 100% recommend full price or…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Short (3-4hours) wholesome/heartwarming game. It has a decent difficulty curve. Pretty graphics, it's cheap. Worth it to be honest.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a really really cute puzzle game that keeps the player on their toes. I always had to keep in mind where the two characters would be and how the environment worked with them, and always had to know the timing of everything. The visuals were amazing, and I loved the story that was presented with it. I'm really happy that the secret levels were added in as well, because the ending was rather sad, and I didn't want to leave it at that. A good game to play when you want a distraction, or…
