10/10. I personally don't consider the following part of the text a spoiler, since everything is obvious from the poster, title and Steam page, but since VNDB considers it a spoiler, I have to comply: I have a long-standing weakness for the "yangire" type: I liked them at 16, when I first started watching anime, and I continue to like them even now, when I'm 31. You can consider me an infantile edged idiot, but I still don't understand why I should start liking something boring with age, and…

Tired of not being able to get to sleep even when you do two good handjobs at night?, don't worry because this game has the solution .... Fυcking a hot female prostitute murder... I know it's a bit sick but apparently effective. Review ✒️Overview The Restless Sheep & The Lone Wolf is an eroge visual novel that offers an intriguing story centered on Takeo Muraki, a young man with chronic insomnia who lives and works as a janitor in a love hotel. The peculiarity of this story is that Takeo can…

So... this is a difficult one. Throughout playing this game, I ranted to my friends about this that or the other thing. This is marketed as a 'dark' story, and maybe I'm simply desensitized by both my reading habits and my own hobbyist writing, but the only thing terribly 'dark' is the sex scenes, which unlock with The Patch. God, the sex scenes. Okay, one thing at a time. The main narrative writing is fine. There's some typos, some weird sentence structures (either the translators are not…

A solid choice for people who'd like to see something similar to old nitro+ in tone. The game has a somewhat unique vibe to it as it depicts busy night life of yakuza and people connected to them in some way, be it Chinese gangs, business paying protection money, or individuals like the protagonist who works as a hit man. You see a lot of PoV changes which add to that 'busy' feeling, and aside from nitro+, the only similar VN I can remember off the top of my head is Rose Guns Days due to its…

Fun little game, not much for choice and interactivity but its a story, an exploration of a basic societal assumption. Not exactly high philosophy, but enough to make it a compelling romance novel. Has enough depth of mystery to be compelling and it leaves nothing unanswered. The writing is very efficient and the authors keep your attention focused on only the things that matter. A complete package, and a satisfying experience.

The Restless Sheep & The Lone Wolf -A Tale of Cutthroat Lovers- by clockup & shiravune An eroge visual novel, with an interesting love story, a dark theme full of violence, very attractive visuals and hot still sex scenes but not suitable for everyone. 8⭐ Review➡️ steamcommunity.com/id/Ero_Maste...

The Restless Sheep & The Lone Wolf: A Tale of Cutthroat Lovers is a dark and suspenseful visual novel that blends psychological drama, crime thriller elements, romance, and moral ambiguity into a gripping narrative set in the neon-lit underworld of Tokyo's Kabukicho district. Created by Tatsuya Kurashiki, known for crafting stories that explore the darker corners of human nature, the game presents a world where violence, obsession, and longing coexist in uneasy harmony. Featuring full Japanese…

"There is no telling what manner of grotesque darkness brews in the underbelly of the state. After all, authority is, at its essence, violence enacted in the name of the regime."

Restless Sheep and the Lone Wolf is a title I'm struggling to say if I overall recommend or not. Overall, I'd slightly lean towards yes, but only if you can accept the occasional extreme content and its somewhat fast (and arguably rushed) storytelling. Premise, Setting, and Themes On paper, I quite like the premise of this visual novel, specifically taking place in Kabukicho (and not a renamed "Kamurocho" like in the Yakuza video game series) with mostly adult-age characters. The darker…

Good stuff from Clockup. If you can ignore some of the wacky plotting and story beats in the third route, I think it's a nicely paced VN full of typical Clockup eroge scenes and fun action/ armchair philosophizing. It also tries a little too hard to go for an edgy tone at times, but, overall, I really enjoyed spending time with these messed up characters and, especially, watching how the romance between MC and Azami played out throughout each route. If you can handle it, I think "Euphoria"…

I will preface this by saying that reading this kinda made me sad - not the story itself, but the fact that we probably will barely ever get these cool 6-7/10 Visual Novels as much as we used to, anyone remember Coμ - Kuroi Ryuu to Yasashii Oukoku? This VN feels like one of the last breaths of a dying era. Alicesoft is barely releasing things anymore, Clockups last few releases have been disappointing at best, it makes me sad. Moving on to the actual review. I bought this on Sale on Steam. 1…

First two thirds are better than last third. Kinda rushed the ending and epilogue if you can even call it one. Art and music is good and voice acting is active throughout a lot of the visual novel. It’s forgettable, but I still enjoyed several hrs of it.

An Interesting and unique story not found in other AVNs. The genre itself is very unique, Noir in AVN. Exotic and beautiful 2D arts. I even like the theme music.
