unlabelledView post →I played this on Steam nearly ten years ago and I want to shout out Topware for their customer support. After feeling nostalgic for the game I bought a physical copy on ebay a few weeks ago. The DRM activation servers are long gone so I emailed customer service and they got back to me with an activation code in just a few hours. That's pretty cool.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I think at this point the entire world knows just how utterly terrible this game is. The graphics are incredibly poor quality and primitive even for 2007 when the 'Two Worlds' was first released, The voice acting is amaturish at best, the story is pretty cliche, and there are a lot of bugs/glitches and problems that just result from poor game design. HOWEVER, I have been playing 'Two Worlds' since I was 13 years old, and I personally believe it's in the "so bad, it's good" category of media.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →People call this a poor man’s Oblivion, but it's closer to Gothic or Riven. I’m pretty sure the Oblivion Killer thing was some marketing gimmick in a magazine and people just rolled with it. It does have it’s problems. It can crash, randomly, but this seems to be caused by the autosave feature. If you save manually often and stick the maximum amount of time between autosaves, it seems to be much more stable. The animations are janky, they seem to run at around 24-30fps while the game…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Two Worlds is one of those old RPGs that sounds way more exciting than it actually is. The open world is huge and you can go anywhere right from the start, but a lot of that space feels empty and pointless, with many areas having nothing worth doing. After a while, exploring just stopped being interesting. The visuals are mixed too. The water looks surprisingly nice for its age, but most environments are bland and overly similar, and cities very horizontal and are packed with NPCs that all…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →it's truly so bad that it's good. I really enjoy the looting system and the combat is fun if you have the right weapon. High tier European RPG jank- If you're into that sorta thing, there's a lot of fun to be had (most of the time). Voice acting and writing are laughably bad and I have fun with that. Really I only recommend to a very specific type of RPG enjoyer who is willing to overlook many, MANY issues for the sake of jank RPG fun. Only play if you've already played through the main RPG…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Overhated, I'll die on that hill. Part nostalgia I'll admit it, I liked this as a kid more than Oblivion and still do in many ways. No loading screens for buildings/cities, better loot/inventory/itemization, better or rather no level scaling(think more like Gothic/Morrowind), and an arguably better magic system. Everything else is objectively worse for the most part but I'm ok with that. Try it out, perchance....
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's ugly, it's clunky, the story is nonsense. And I have 100 hours in it. Send help.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game was terrible for it being 2025, but as a kid, it was like the greatest thing ever lmao. It may be bad, but it has It's own charm. It was definitely a nice throwback though. Also, almost forgot to add, this was not no Oblivion killer as it was claimed to be back then LOL. Who ever said that was seriously talking out of their ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lmfao XD
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Multiplayer is broken. Asks for CD key but the input field will not accept any input. Either fix it or edit the description.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Two Worlds is a good game with a few issues (but still well worth the time). It has a few very cool and probably unique features, like the fact that you can "upgrade" equipment by stacking identical pieces on top of each other – meaning, with a bit of looting luck and a lot of patience, you can make early-game equipment last well into the later stages. The magic system is also quite cool and there are a few other bits, like alchemy, that is very cool. Graphically, it's "not finished",…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The Temu edition of Elder Scrolls Oblivion, its so bad. This may actaully be the worst game in my Steam library.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Honestly one of my favorite games. Is it good? Not particularly. It feels very beer-and-pretzels Eurojanky. Almost zen. The writing is pretty mediocre. The line delivery is so awkward and stilted that it becomes rather charming. The game oozes ambition, and while it fails in many ways it is a constant source of inspiration in my own endeavors. I've owned it on GOG prior to adding it to Steam and I still love booting it up every now and then. Will need some light modding if you want to…

unlabelledView post →Two Worlds is an exceptional game. It represents the pinnacle of Eurojank you could wish for. With outstanding voice acting, dialogues reminiscent of Shakespeare, and gameplay that Oblivion could only aspire to, this game truly has it all.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've played this game though several different times across different machines and four operating systems, XP, 7, 10 and now Windows 11. What I don't like: the game is very buggy; it will randomly crash, so if you decide to play this game save often. The voice acting is good, but the dialog is cringy. Some of the quests are confusing and hard to solve without Internet help. The character is weak starting out and just about anything on the lower levels will kill him in a few hits. The gameplay…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Silly, even ridiculous open world CRPG...but somehow it felt more of-a-piece, charming, and overall fun than many others I've played. It quite a few ways I found it compared favorably to Witcher 3, which structurally lifts from it quite a bit (though I suspect mostly unintentionally). Took a few tricks to get running right, like a 4GB memory patch and some launch options, but if nothing else this game is profoundly playable. I constantly found myself booting it up instead of other games, and I…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have great memories of renting this game from blockbuster and thinking it was absolute crap. Unfortunately the epic edition seems to be a lot less buggy than I remember but it's still nostalgic in it's own way. The voice acting puts AI to shame in how lifeless, boring and unnatural it sounds. The graphics and UI design is certainly a product of its time but even though it's very dated I'd still rather play this game than modern RPGs like Veilguard or Avowed.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →potion making is addictive. i am a master brewer.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Two Worlds: Epic Edition is one of those RPGs whose ambition is immediately visible, even before its flaws come into focus. Developed by Reality Pump Studios and published by Topware Interactive, it attempts to deliver a sprawling open-world fantasy adventure on a scale rivaling larger-budget contemporaries. The story follows a mercenary searching for his kidnapped sister, a setup that begins simply but quickly widens into political conspiracies, ancient prophecies, and escalating conflicts…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →"Oblivion killer" it is not, but still better than gothic. ps. Steam version doesn't play cutscenes.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ahh Two Worlds, the game that I heard so much trash about and always wanted to play. Y'know I genuinely had a good time with this mess of a game. Now, I wouldn't say this game is good, but it provided so much fun for me as I traversed its janky combat, uninteresting open world, and terrible acting. I know... I know... everything I just said about this game was bad - because this game is bad. Still though, I look back on my time in Two Worlds so fondly and I may go back someday just to give it…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Recommended. A janky, overstuffed open-world action RPG whose permanent-potion alchemy and duplicate-combining gear progression remain copied by nothing, and the depth of systems outweighs every rough edge. Stat inflation is the whole game: drink minerals until attributes pass 6,000 defence, stack duplicate weapons, and watch the numbers balloon while alchemy multiplies every buff. Exploration rewards without prompting (teleporter hunting, cave delving), faction reputation gates prices and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game for simple RPG mechanics and fun. Voice lines and scripting is hilariously stupid but still a great time.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I read several reviews telling you will die often there. Eeerrr nope I think it's not true. It's too early to say whether the game is good or bad. It reminds me of Gothic with a weaker main storyline or elder scrolls. The game is old, but it has something appealing. I'm not going to finish every possible quest and open its map for 100% at the moment. I'll add more after sometime. Adding: Too boring. The npcs voices are the perfect example how npcs should not sound. The quests are hardly…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Awesome Game! Its Open World and similar to Elder Scrolls V Skyrim but, its a very old game.. I bought it on discount and played it, its fun to play even with outdated graphics!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its terrible but fun and addicting at the same time haha
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Two Worlds: Epic Edition is a gloriously flawed gem that I can't help but recommend, even while acknowledging its many shortcomings. The equipment stacking system is genuinely addictive — dragging a weaker sword onto a stronger one to combine them scratches an itch I didn't know I had — and the sprawling world of Antaloor has enough variety, from glacial peaks to volcanic deserts, to keep you exploring for hours. Yes, the voice acting is hilariously bad, the horse controls are a nightmare, and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The main villain's motivation is kinda generic but he looks cool so I forgive him.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you can get past the first hour, it opens up into a really rewarding adventure. Just stick with it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →How is this game so good? It shouldn't be possible, it's terrible but somehow it's so good. Only a true master could make eurojank this perfect. Extremely highly recommended.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →uhmmmmmmmmmmmm under the hood its goodge i swear i know the animations and sound are horrible but like low key its combat and character progression is honestly pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fun!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Online multiplayer is so amazing ! However, you have to apply the 4 GB patch to the exe file or else the game crashes.
