positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →First off if you're looking for a sim truck racing game, then don't bother with this game. If you're looking for a fun arcade racer with trucks then this is the game for you. The game is a blast to play once you get the hang of the trucks. The physics in the game are actually quite good and the trucks handle nicely to boot. You can choose between 6 trucks in championship mode and all can be upgraded. You have 2 types of roads with dirt and asphalt with dirt having a slight loose feel to it but…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Meh truck racing arcade I would say the very few positive points I have for this game include truck customization and tuning, also you don't see many racing games in this subgenere so it's always a unique experience on its own. Sure, there are some tracks and different game modes you can play that doesn't really cancel out the fact you have to choose from a very limited selection of vehicles among other things. Graphics are not that great either, there were much better looking games in 2013.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I would like to be neutral with this game, I would not recommand to spend 20€ on this game; if you can get it for less than 10 bucks, then go on. Else it doesn't really worth this price. First: the handling. I wasn't expecting an arcade-style driving since the game looked realistic and didn't take a totally frenzy atmosphere. I mean, games like Flatout or Burnout are realistic-looking but you can easily tell they're focused on the fun part of destructing vehicules like "you can explode every…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game provides a, while far from realistic, incredibly fun kind of driving and vehicle handling. While simple in terms of variety and content, races are always exciting, whether you're bashing up with the solid AI trucks, or carefully drifting turns in the lead. Vehicle customization adds a nice amount of depth, finding the right combination of parts to get your own personal perfect setup. I still can't help but feel that this game was perhaps lacking some sort of 'feature' Almost like how…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Most important thing - "Truck Racer" is not a simulator. This is arcade style racing game like Dirt 3, but with trucks. Multiplayer is dead so do not even count on this part of game. Just forget it like it never existed... You will find only 6 trucks but you can customize them in many ways, also number of racingtracks is not bad because all of them have multiple variations with diffirent routes. For a player most important is fun - and for now I've found a lots of it - steering is very…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Almost a total rip off. Must be played with keyboard controls. Overall, not very interesting.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This MONDAY, MONDAY, MONDAY, throw in some Truck Racer to race TRUCKS or any day really. Get in a Big rig of steel, just like Euro Truck Sim, except now with 100% more racing! Menus are easy to navigate, probably one of the best UI's made in a long time. All the menus are awesome, they flow really easily, not much of a learning curve for people familiar with race games. Best part is I havent noticed that rubber band AI stuff, where one accident spells doom as evry car races past you but no…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →To start off I would like to say that I didn't expect much from this game. It was on sale and I love racing games so I usually try most of them out. It isn't a realistic racing game, it's more of an arcade style game. There is a lot to keep you busy from the amount of races to the achievements. My Xbox controller works really well for the game and I've had no issues with the controls. Of course there are some flaws in the game but nothing major worth mentioning. If you enjoy racing games…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →hahahahaha ... ... ... no. Okay for realsies. First impression, boots to DEAFENING audio levels seriously my ears hurt, game settings are bare bones, driving feels plain ol' bad. Uninstalled after the first race. Don't bother, not even at the best price of 69p
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Truck Racer maybe not the most well known game but acually ok for what it is a arcade truck game with good damage model in style of Flatout: Pros: + 10 locations (48 tracks) + driving physics soild feels a little simular to Flatout 1 + good damage model simular to Flatout 1 and 2 quality vise + 6 trucks not much but well enough + upgrade system + good track layout Cons: - good menu soundtrack but the rest is a joke no music in the races feels lifeless for an acade racer - bots are kinda slow…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →First impression: fun arcade racing with a friend. The store page doesn't tell you this, but this game has a split-screen two-player mode, which makes it fun to play with a friend, because a) the physics are hilarious, b) the trucks do take large amounts of damage to the bodywork and show it. The handbrake/drifting is atrocious, but it's controllable enough to be enjoyable, and the opponents are weak enough to not have to deal with upgrading the trucks, at least at first (I've won easy/medium…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Do you enjoy an arcade racer in place of a driving sim. If yes you will have a good race/boost/upgrade kinda time that is fun. Better if you forget that they are trucks for the most part and drive with the aggression of a 9yr old on a dodgem car ride. Great fun if you get it in a cheap racing bundle or get it on discount. Guilty pleasure but not a 'real?' truck racer. Although if you wha wha want a real rig, try out Euro Truck sim 2 or American truck sim.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Hey! Another quick review! If you liked Dirt Showdown, you will find the same type of mechanics/enjoyment/gameplay while driving, this time, various trucks in different environments. Simple as that. Drive big rigs and upgrade their various parts with credits you earn while racing. Small, medium, long and very long tracks in 10 different regions. Nitro which charges when you crash into others. Online multiplayer & split-screen! Game modes like GP, challenges... Price is cheap so if you want…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I am really surprised to see so many possitive feedbacks. This game has nothing to do with the word "good". Physics is awefull, so is the gameplay. A limited number of tracks that you have to ride over and over again, only six cars that are not different one from the other and, on the top of that, idiotic and so unrealistic damage and hit system. Really - don't buy it. Wanted to play it with my friend in coop but would look for something else.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not a bad little game. Game looks great and its good fun racing around crashing into opponents with the body work flying everywhere. Career mode is the easiest i have ever played in a game and gave no challenge at all. Multiplayer was a good laugh though with a friend. Personally do not think its worth the full asking price so get it on a sale if anything. Not the best game ever but certainly not the worst. 6/10 would be my score
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Truck Racer does exactly what its title suggests: There are trucks, and you race them. Generic title aside, Truck Racer is a fairly good arcade-oriented big rig racing game that is held back by a lack of difficulty and empty multiplayer lobbies. If you must buy it, wait for a sale. Truck Racer follows the standard racing game blueprint: you race transport trucks through a series of increasingly difficult tournaments, trying to earn enough credits to unlock the next tournament. Credits earned…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is an arcade style game, the controls are nice and precise, graphics are fairly nice, the destruction models are solid, ability to upgrade the parts add to the game, the....wait......WHAT THE ♥♥♥♥?!?!? YOU ARE RACING WITH ♥♥♥♥♥♥ SEMI TRUCKS??? LEGEND/10, best and most efficiently executed semi truck racer ever made, period.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The controlls and the physics are really bad. The AI is extremely stupid and bad. A lot of times they just keep crashing into the walls. Because of that, lapped AI players block you, easily crash into you. Damaged trucks they drive generates massive clouds of smoke, making your FOV to "disappear" (contains JUST smoke). How should I drive when a lapped truck's smoke is blocking to view 100%? The system requiements are laughable! I have a 4 core Phenom II (the same as the one mentioned in the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →play this game as a simulator trucks game and you'll get disappointed, play it as an arcade game and you'll really enjoy like the old days. the trucks take much damage and loosing parts and that's fun, drifting is quite good and most fun is in split screen. the bad thing is the game is short and there is not much trucks.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So bad. • The steering feels weird • Acceleration is unreal • Graphics is bad • Stupid AI • So many pop-ups on screen every second Instant uninstall.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A hidden gem I just found, hmm.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is amazing! Just dont expect a sim racing going into it. It is good arcade fun!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a pretty good game, but I get the impression the devs were under the influence.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →little indie racing game with trucks, kill 7 hours if you go for a full platinum run, however the bouncy physics and the fact the enemy AI trucks are immovable walls if you touch them and that the AI is bad and theyre always crashing and blocking the track makes the game very tedious
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is fun only a few minutes. The arcade racing and the physics are very poor, though the controls are fairly decent. After a short time playing, it´s almost impossible not to finish in first place. How is it possible that it has so many positive reviews?
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I got so bored doing a 9 lap race that I came to write a negative review instead. I can't believe how bad this game is. Truck handling, racetracks, visuals, lighting, visual effects, sound effects, music, destruction, enemy ai and physics are all bad even for a 2013 game. It's tedious, tiring and brings a negative amount of fun to every race.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wow, cheap and good fun game. BETTER THAN GRID LEGENDS
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this is rubbish for maybe kids, but i guess, no, not for kids..for nobody...horrible controlling, slower trucks than AI ai hit you and damage you and turn your truck but if you hit AI truck is like to hit wall.... save money and go and buy old good flat out games rather than this stupidity
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nothing inherently wrong with the game. Just an over-all meh experience that is generally too easy. And when you progress to the harder levels of the game, "hard" = bumper cars. If getting punted all over the race-track by AI-controlled trucks sounds like fun, by all means buy this game. Decent graphics, fair customization and destructible trucks can't make up for the small amount of tracks and locations. Think of it as an arcade game and get it on sale for 75% off, and you probably won't be…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →-Super easy -I have all the money in the world after a few races -If I didn't have all the money in the world I could get it by racing the same race over and over again, and finishing a place better each time which gets me a lot of credits, more than getting first place the first time -Arcade style physics -Physics are excessively jerky, bouncy, and it's impossible to flip the vehicles -Hiting the wall means nothing -One damage bar for the engine only represents the whole truck -Going full…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I dont have much time invested in this game but I like it. Its simple to play and the graphics look very good. They dont look all that great in the still pictures however in motion they look a lot better. The handling feels very good and the race tracks are short and fun to drive thru.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I liked the trucks
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good game. You can choose from six models of trucks. Championship are at many tracks with gravel or asphalt surface. We can improve our trucks from upgrading the engine to modify the body and color. During the race we can damage own vehicle, or even destroy completely. If championship and driving is not enough for us, we can play also with our friends. I recommend.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This feels EXACTLY like I imagined driving a truck would feel like! (Hint: no, it doesn't.) If you're into the arcade racers, then maybe give this one a go. But in a crowded genre like this, you will find many much better games (i.e. everything Codemasters).
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a surprisingly fantastic arcade semi-truck racer ^_^ + Plenty of Destruction / Damage + Races are short and sweet + Maps have plenty of detail + Terrain effects vehicle performance (dirt / roat) + Plenty of parts to buy / upgrade your truck. + Nitro / Boost system (works similar to the burnout series) + AI will ram into eachother, and the rails + Drifting + High top speeds! 150+KMPH in a Semi Truck! - Not many trucks to choose from. - No inside view, or camera rotation - Not enough…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Do Not Buy you will regret it
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Decent arcade racer as long as you upgrade your trucks asap to blast ahead of the crazy AI that sometimes like to suicide into walls. Then enjoy drifting and racing around, until you eventually almost lap the CPU and are greeted with dirt effects that block just about everything in your fov, so just slow down a bit and watch as they randomly wreck themselves. This was more amusing for me that I thought it would be. I made it 80% through the campaign. It's alright but gets kinda boring and the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Welcome to Truck Racer An arcade truck racing game with top-tier janky gameplay. It’s not a simulator game . The drifting? These trucks have better drifting than 99% of cars from Need for Speed. Choose between 6 available trucks and 13 playable championships. Minus/complaints: The sky, in some maps, it is literally beaming/glowing/radiating (whatever you want to call it) into my screen in a very buggy, flashing way. The physics when trucks crash into walls doesn’t respond very well. You…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A simple, straightforward arcade racer. Easy to understand upgrade system geared towards specializing in dirt or paved racetracks. Fun!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →its okay, screen kept shaking while driving. Maybe worth $.99 on sale..
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Handling seems to be optimized on purpose, fair price, not cheap, not expensive. better buy this on sale
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →it's a fun game where you drive a truck in one of the 48 race tracks
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very enjoyable. Has an old-school arcade feel to it. Smashing into other trucks trying to put them out of the race is just as much fun as the racing itself. Multiple truck shapes/styles to choose from, as well as different paint jobs. As you get better in the driver standings, you earn credits which can be used in the garage to upgrade your trucks with better parts. Has a multiplayer function, but I haven't tried that yet. My only complaint is that after playing for a while, the game…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →well i mean, this game has 6 trucks, 48 racetracks, you can tune, you can upgrade, you can skip some parts of the tracks, its the perfect game, for just 99 cents,
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →arcade action laps !!! deffo worth the dollar !! best on-sale-game of 11/22
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Eh... It's Okay PROS + Arcade handling is suitably satisfying but not excellent + Graphics are fine (PS3/XBox360 Quality). The trucks kick up a lot of dust. + You can break parts off of trucks + Works straight away with my racing wheel CONS - Only two camera views... Behind the truck and 1st person - 1st person camera is low... Near the bumper.. This means your view is easily obscured by other trucks. No part of your truck is visible in 1st person view. No behind the wheel view. - No rear…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is like if you took the first FlatOut by Bugbear, removed the driver ragdolls, and replaced the regular street cars with diesel-powered semi-tractors. But I have to say, Truck Racer is a surprisingly fun and surprisingly fast arcade racing game. While there are only six trucks available to drive, there are numerous ways to modify and tune them. One thing that I honestly didn't see explained well enough and never really felt the influence of(maybe I just wasn't paying attention) is…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Truck Racer is a combative "truck" racing game with a plethora of customisation options and various maps and so on. Unfortunately the game crashes on launch on the latest 2019 build for Windows 10. In line with my policy of not recommending games that don't work, I don't recommend this game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →After having played the dreadful game that is Motorcycle Club, I decided to play Kylotonn's previous racing game, Truck Racer, that I noticed I also had in my unplayed Steam backlog. Going in with the worst of expectations, I have to admit Truck Racer is actually kinda fun. Take formula truck style racing and give the trucks the ability to drift almost perfectly around every corner, and give them nitrous too because why not? It's hardly realistic, sure, but every racing game doesn't have to be…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really bad game. Not even "so bad it's fun" or "oh well it was just a dollar", just bad. I know what you're thinking. "Arcade physics, easy drifting, trucks crashing into each other, mostly positive reviews, how can you go wrong with this?" First of all, this is probably a bad port or a poorly optimized game, as the framerate is inconsistent even on low settings. But more importantly, it's just not fun. The overall "feel" or handling of the trucks, is neither realistic nor fun. There's a…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Haven't played it much yet, but the game looks fun & the graphics seem fine too (although the light level seemed to fluctuate a lot which was highly annoying). Thumbs down because no proper controller support so I can't use my steering wheel. Unmappable xBox control only.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great fun in a bundle with 8 other games for $4 and well worth it but I wouldn't pay the current listed $20. If you're a serious racing fan and get your thrills with a steering wheel then this isnt for you (but you already knew that and are heading back to Assetto Corsa right now). If however, you're a fan of racing and can enjoy it lightheartedly with a 360 controller then this title is an entertaining way of whiling away a sunday afternoon. Most cheap racing games suffer badly with…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's allright. Doesn't look AAA, doesn't drive AAA but it can be enjoyed if you won't set your expectations too high. +lots of tracks/combinations, night, rain, etc. +damage system. +if you don't hit the roadside, truck-driving can be enjoyable (depends on the truck you bought, the upgrades you applied) +classic gameplay: you race, you earn money, you buy new trucks/upgrades, so you can race on higher class championships -too easy, no difficulity settings -bit repetitive but fortunatelly…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Big Mutha Truckers (& its sequel) is certainly a fun, wacky, & sometimes wild trucking game. And it is choc-full of humor. I think of 18-Wheeler more as an arcade "Truck Racer" though, whereas the Big Mutha Truckers games are more of a longer game where more of a strategy has to be employed.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Did you ever dream of racing big trucks at neck breaking speed and cause havoc and destruction? Me neither and this game lets you do just that. For a racing game it's pretty good I had much fun with it.
