Its a gentle sway, but it often goes back and forth for the most minor of adjustment. It can be stomach churning, but there is always a fixed camera angle. The second issue is that an entire event can play as if its in slow motion when others are fine. Sometimes the slow motion accelerates to the smooth speed the game usually has.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like these minicars games and this one is great, the minicars has physics like real cars, and I find it super fun, you can feel the velocity (and the wall you hit right after!). Graphics are very good, maybe you get a little dizzy with the camera, because it follows the car like a real camera, so there is a delay in the movement. Some people complained about it but I found it amusing that the game tries to mimic reality while still keeping cars and stuff like toys (fun!). The game becomes…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is fun, fast, frantic, chaotic, rewarding when played in a group and infuriating. So pretty much all the ingredients for a good old-fashioned night in around the TV with some like-minded buddies. It's a shame online wasn't included and not as much effort was made in the game's menu presentation, but for such a low price point, it is definitely worth a purchase.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Could have been a nice little racer. But by not allowing us to customize our keyboard controls (which 99% of all other games do), they made it impossible to play it as they force us to use our ONE little 'pinkie' finger to control the TWO most important functions of the car. Sounds funny? Then don't take my word: Just try for yourself before buying this game by placing 3 fingers on W - A - D respectively to control the car. Then use the only finger you have left on the left side (the pinkie -…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I got this game for less than a dollar from a Fanatical bundle. I could tell within the first few minutes of my first race that this game wasn't for me. I did a race with something like 15 laps, and I got bored and felt insulted. After playing my best for the first 4 laps or so, I realized that the AI rubber-banding was anything but subtle. Any time I boosted ahead, it would only last until two or three corners later before the AI would catch up to me and pass me. But then again it would only…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LJIAdk_389M I have a thing about games which remind me of Super Off-Road, and this reminds me of Super Off-Road. Lots of tiny little cars zooming around cute and colourful tracks, with silly power-ups and nitro and things in the way. It's just fun. The down side is that there is no banging of any sort. Whatever sort you were expecting.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Mini car racing game that feels kinda shallow but plays ok. Tracks are well made and have some detail put into them. Races doesn't have much excitement to be honest. Don't forget about nitro boost and a bit of drifting. Every car controls differently. Controls are mostly good, controller support - nothing to complain here. Each win unlocks something new so you can play with different vehicles including F1. Despite the game is from 2012, it's not necessarily bad. No ultra wide resolutions…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really amazing game it has amazing features and things like Great Soundtracks,Cars,Stages and alot of superB features surely i dont have much to say but this game is great i am defenetly reccommend it for all of you my friends 10/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've only played this game for a short time and it seems like a fun racer, but it has one fatal flaw that is killing it for me. The camera by default follows you around but it does this with a slight delay, and if you make quick left right turns, it doesn't smooth them out like you would expect but instead does the exact same turns but with that delay. That very quickly was making me feel woozy and making it very hard to control the car. The only other option for camera is to have it fixed…

The very intuitive control system and the exciting tracks provide endless fun for everyone in the family.

Nowadays, when It comes to racing games, I'd rather avoid. Cuz most of the times it's about choosing between a complex racing sim or a mediocre and buggy arcade racing game. Bang Bang Racing broke the rule! IMO it's one of, if not the best top down racing games I've played in a while. It's a very solid arcade game which has a very low learning curve but it's not…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Meh. It's just like any other "isometric toy car racer" but with a screwed up camera, rubber banding AI, bad physics/controls, and just kinda boring to play. I would rate this 'mixed' if I could but it has too many cons vs pros for me to give it a positive rating. There are so many other titles like this but just better made out there to give this much of a recommendation.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As any other Racing games. Fun Hard and Challnging. Dat's all you need on racing game :) If you like A raceing games so I guess that can be suitable to you .. Have fun
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is really great,it has a great graphic and fun gameplay. But the game is frequently crashing....... :| too bad
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →it is quite fun, RC cars like game. It started to be challenging during the second championship. But the camera brings out my motion sickness.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was unhappy with it when i experienced crashes during carrer mode, making me repeat lot of races over and over. But apart from that this is really fun game, what i like is that even AI drivers make mistakes like crashing into walls when taking turn badly, spinning out on oil, or crashing under pressure from other drivers and player, sometimes they take shortcuts and in other lap they will not etc. Its great to see that, unlike in some other games where AI doesnt react to what is happening on…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As a kid, I couldn't draw well, so there were few things I loved to draw that I could, one of those being top down racing pictures. This is a top down racer, very simple and straight to it, and a lot of fun. It was a nice experience to play on the steam deck, where I finished the career mode while on an exercise bike. This game is frequently bundled and that's probably where you'll get the best bang for your buck if you're looking at getting it. Backlog Games Beaten 2025 9/50
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It would be alright if not for "balanced" AI which always lets you at least partially win.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →To be so small and simple looking, very challenging and intense small races that are really fun! A 3 minute race can end up forcing you to focus and you end up with a sigh of relief at the end of it when you win!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The first impression of the game and the first-time launch made a pair of my middle-teeth pop out due to utter hilariousness and a shockingly unexpected top-down racing game. But one race or so, I became clinged to this "gang bang racing" game. Its a butter-spread-and-sandwich racing game with controls as simple as Shift, Arrow keys and control and that's it. However, to actually succeed in races, you absolutely need to forget your maneuvering habits taken from any other racing game and treat…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Classic top down arcade racing game with good graphics/gameplay. If you liked micro machines or similar racing games in the past then you will enjoy this. A surprisingly large selection of cars and tracks are included and are great fun. No online multiplayer is a bit disappointing but there's split screen local multiplayer and at just $2.50 on sale, you can't really go wrong buying this.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Brilliant overhead view racer, reminds me of Super Sprint except more chaotic. Lots of cars on the track (that seem to gang up on you), lots of tracks, lots of fun. One major downer is there's no online multiplayer, Though it's still challenging and lots of fun without it, it's surely missed.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Excellent top-down arcade racing game. The driving is fun, there are 4 classes of cars, and the tracks and cars are beautiful and made in full 3D, in a good way. The physics are quite arcade-style but very well made and fun, and there are a few things which clearly separate this game from a tiny bit more serious games like Circuit Superstars: (1) You have a boost that recharges quickly and that you have to use frequently to win races, (2) crashing into other cars is clearly an intended part of…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Picked this up on impulse when it was in a sale, and it's really good, I like it. Micro Machines played a bit more straight. Some people were complaining in other reviews about frame rate, but it runs pretty smooth on my 4yr old laptop with integrated graphics, so you'll probably be ok if that's a concern. I need to round up some people for some split screen mp
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game has problem with unaccpetable low framerate=slideshow. And it is not yet fixed. Just left as it is for ages. Unplayable. Don't buy it unless see people confirming in forums it is completely fixed.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An exhilarating racing game with smooth controls, vibrant tracks, and a fantastic multiplayer mode that offers endless fun and competitive excitement.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A really good racing game, fairly balanced and complicated with okay-graphics. Precise and interesting mechanics are the cherry on top. It's very similar to old-school 2D arcade racing, but performing well in it requires a lot of practice (especially when doing some gold time-trials) Visuals are simple but diverse as far as maps go, they all have multiple variants, which make driving more enjoyable. Overall, quite a racing title, recommended

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →decent 1$ game no audio for some reason? its got local co-op so thats nice
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good 2D racing game. Content consists of Career Mode and 4 Championships - nothing else to do after you beat that. I liked the progression in the 4 types of racing cars, from the basic ones to the ultra fast F1 cars. Graphics is nice. There is a solid number of tracks and even greater number of variations ( long, short, reverse, with shortcuts etc. ), some tracks are more fun then others. Some have way too many bends, so it's not easy in the last stage when you drive F1 cars.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Interesting top down. Like Sprint meets Excite Bike, meets RC ProAM on Steroids. It has some flaws, like the catchup sometimes or either being too easy one minute and extremely unforgiving the next. However, if you see past those minor gripes, it's fun even with the short story. I do like they added story attributes which is new for this genre to me. Wouldn't mind a more refined sequel or some DLC episodes with more vehicles and tracks.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Picked this game up during the sale, sadly it crashes ever 40 minutes or so on windows 10... Am I going to ask for a refund? Hell NO! This game's great! picked it up for like $2.00 CDN and it even has local split screen multi player which it doesn't even advertise! Had I of known the game had local split screen multi player I probably would have picked it up much earlier... The game is easily worth $5-$7... THIS IS A MUST BUY WHILE IT'S ON SALE FOR THIS PRICE, even with the crashing, I…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Reminds me a bit of RC Pro-am from Nintendo. Cool simple racing game, but very poorly optimized it seems. I can run most AAA games on my decent pc that meets the specifications, but this is in painful slow-mo with tons of lag. For such a basic game that is crazy. This is desite lowering the settings and resolution to minimum. If you have a much better pc than suggested its good give it a go if on sale imo. I have a new gaming PC, but still the demands for this game are way too high. The game…

Personally top down view is annoying if you never played games this way. Only i will get better if you practice some. I have couple of these types of games in my collection in here the steam matrix. This is one of my less favorite if you ask me. It looks great... it haves some good soundtracks...... only controls that is my problem with this game. Pickup up this game whas not easy because…

On the other hand we have many cons here – non-upgradeable cars without statistics, low variety of tracks with too many corners and U-turns, catch-up mechanism along with too aggressive opponents and absence of any…

Relatively straight forward to progress, although most of your replay time will be getting the gold time trial scores (ignore the player leaderscores, as it means you already got the gold time star) Average completion time: 16-20 hours (ignore the online leaderboard times) Number of achievements: 12 Difficulty: casual/average Replay-ability: tied to achievements Online playerbase: time trial leaderboard…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good arcade top-down racing game. It has some flaws, for example the camera can't keep up with the turns and goes haywire in almost every match, there is a lack of variety in car models and the driving experience between the existing ones is almost the same. However, it has nice visuals, the sound is convincing and it is very fun, especially playing split screen with a friend.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bang Bang Racing may seem like your casual arcade top-down racing game, but that is only partially true. The game's AI along with its driving mechanics makes it difficult to stay in the lead and beat challenges. Bang Bang Racing requires you to follow a racing line and maintain top speed in order to win. A couple of the achievements will require a little bit of a grind and some thought in order acquire them.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was reminded of this game when I played Mini Motor Racing EVO, which is very similar (as in, it's a top down racing game with toy like cars). However between the two, I have only a fraction of the hours in Bang Bang Racing because of a graphical issue. The game is actually really fun though. There are multiple liveries that you can unlock by playing the same level over and over and perfecting your strategies. NPC cars will outrun you and will be miles ahead if you don't play smart. If you do…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really fun isometric mario kart racing game!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There is no online multiplayer option. Bang Bang Racing feels like almost every other top-down racing game, there is nothing that would make this game more unique or fun. Maybe it looks a little bit better, but that's all.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Multi-player (local only), no comical power ups, just pure and simple old school style racing with a pleasant graphical style and some very well designed tracks. There isn't much to dislike, it's a cracking little game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Better than NFS: Rivals
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This may seem like another Micro Machines style game, but it actually owes more to the classic Super Sprint - In fact the whole thing feels like an update version of that arcade racer. It uses most of S. Sprint's tricks with oil slicks, exploding barrels and shortcuts. The games does have it's fair share of problems though, the biggest of which is those oil slicks and barrels. Look at it this way: you are about to win a race, you hit an oil slick, you lose the race. I know that this is old…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It would be a good mini car racer game, but the camera is quite bad. It's sad, because other than the camera, it's a good and simple game! As it gets harder, the bad camera makes the game worse and worse... Maybe for 50% off... Maybe...
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bang Bang Racing scratches that nostalgic itch for old-school overhead racers like Super Off-Road, with colorful tracks, satisfying nitro boosts, and just enough chaos from eight cars fighting for position to keep things exciting. The cars have a nice weight to them and each class genuinely handles differently, which keeps the short career mode from feeling too repetitive. That said, the camera is a real problem — the dynamic option lags behind your turns in a way that can genuinely cause…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game really takes me back. Don’t buy it tho, it’s horribly optimized & slows down every now & then, runs quite terribly on PC ngl but i bought it just for that PS3 nostalgia. The game slows down & literally runs in slow motion every once in a while. What a fun game bang bang racing was tho.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bang Bang Racing is a top-down arcade racing game. With 20 cute cars you race over nine equally cute and colorful courses. In the championship races, the four car classes are unlocked one after the other (muscle cars, Evo GT, Protech and monoposto formula racing cars) and in multiplayer you fight for victory against up to three competitors locally in split screen.
