Friend said it’s not a big leap in quality between this and an MCU entry and I agree. It’s also the cleanest segue into neatly fitting in the MCU (and I hope post-SW it does). ATJ owns.

For Ben Affleck straight-to-Netflix releases about swaggering masculinity, professionalism and greed, I take "Triple Frontier."
unlabelledView post →Triple Frontier=good movie btw
unlabelledView post →Soft spot for that algorithmic Netflix movie “Triple Frontier” that I downloaded on my iPad for a late night Spirit flight.
unlabelledView post →Streaming has popularized a bold new genre I like to call War Dads: Dads Who War Good. I love this genre so much. Give me a Triple Frontier. Give me a The Contractor. If Roy from the Office is soldier #4 on the squad, you are likely watching a War Dads (Dads Who War Good) film.
unlabelledView post →Triple Frontier is an interesting film. Ben Affleck, Oscar Isaac, Charlie Hunnan and Pedro Pascal set out on what starts as a solid action movie which takes a turn into something much more thought provoking. All the more so with this particular cast. We have it on Netflix hereabouts.

unlabelledView post →J.C. Chandor’s Triple Frontier remains the best film made by Netflix. A tough hombre heist movie with Ben Affleck, Oscar Isaac, Charlie Hunnam, Garrett Hedlund, Pedro Pascal. A man on a mission flick. Neo-western. Swap the chopper for a stagecoach & it could be a John Wayne pic.

unlabelledView post →Learned earlier this year that Netflix paid $100M+ in 2019 to make a movie called Triple Frontier with sBen Affleck, Oscar Isaac, and Pedro Pascal!! I've never met anyone who has heard of it. I watched it, it mostly sucks, but still. Cast alone would've made waves in the old times.
unlabelledView post →@demanda.bsky.social watched a movie with Pedro and Affleck on netflix-Triple Frontier. Kind of a fluffy, non serious action movie. in case you're looking for something to watch
unlabelledView post →The only movie to ever get the physics of US currency evenly faintly correct was Triple Frontier.
unlabelledView post →watching TRIPLE FRONTIER on netflix for the first time, they were fucking cooking. “what if we made an action-thriller movie with 5 fine ass men and the most beautiful woman you’d ever seen?” crazy nobody had thought of it before
unlabelledView post →watching Triple Frontier which is a movie about dudes being bad at planning
unlabelledView post →Managed to get 3/4 of the way through Triple Frontier before realizing I'd already watched it and that's my review of that film
unlabelledView post →I adore Pedro and have since GoT. I saw him on Broadway (King Lear with Glenda Jackson). He's amazing. He & Oscar did a film called Triple Frontier which I've never seen (also Ben Affleck & Charlie Hunnam) but those two really do need to do a buddy film or a gay rom com together. 😂
unlabelledView post →Operation Gothic Serpent was such a shit show that if you watch it with vets it’s more like a horror movie. And Triple Frontier? Holy fucking shit. Mistake after mistake after mistake.
unlabelledView post →I’ve been saving that one. Target of metal was too confusing. I love the movie Triple Frontier but Chandor using that shit Metallica song in the opener is just very disheartening. If you see the movie just grit through that part.
unlabelledView post →Late in the movie game because I’m hanging with my best friend. Need a quick theme. It’s Netflix action films. Nuggets win - Triple Frontier Nuggets lose - Army of Thieves #MileHighBasketball
unlabelledView post →J'adore comment ce film c'est un "idiots heist" sauf que c'est des génies. (alors que Triple Frontier est un genius heist sauf que c'est des idiots)
unlabelledView post →On one hand, it's a flex for Activision to say No to THAT Steven Spielberg because he wouldn't take notes from them while directing a Call of Duty movie. On the other, a Call of Duty movie is just another Navy SEALS, Extraction, Triple Frontier formula flick without Steven Spielberg.
unlabelledView post →Triple Frontier has an all-star cast and absolutely none of them give a shit about making a good film. My wife and I laughed our asses off at how Netflix signed off on that many good actors phoned in it w/in the first 30 minutes before watching more Downton Abbey instead.
unlabelledView post →Boo. My ★★ review of Triple Frontier on Letterboxd boxd.it/9QAi5v
unlabelledView post →Pain & Gain was tons of fun- I enjoyed the main trio in that film; they bounced off each other really well. The Old Guard was pretty good (looking forward to its sequel) too. I watched 6 Underground and Triple Frontier, but can't remember much about them- though I think they were decent from memory,
unlabelledView post →I really liked it, but I am partial to Chandor. Loved “A Most Violent Year” and “Triple Frontier” is the kinda movie that I enjoyed but I know that I’ll love unequivocally at, like, sixty.
unlabelledView post →We randomly watched Triple Frontier on Netflix the other day. I had never heard of it and kind of expected a mindless action movie. It has plenty of action, but the acting and drama are also really solid. Character development, cinematography, all good.
unlabelledView post →The action movie Triple Frontier (2019) has an effective "just one more" situation.
unlabelledView post →Fun episode of Exiting Through the 2010s this week! As all the real ones know, TRIPLE FRONTIER (2019) is for the girls (as Gillian rightly notes). Jack asked me to send in a little voice memo re: Oscar Isaac in this film, so keep an ear open for that 👂 podcasts.google.com/feed/aHR0cHM...

unlabelledView post →My ★★½ review of Triple Frontier on Letterboxd boxd.it/b4Nw1n You can't be a greedy thief
unlabelledView post →1).Triple Frontier is surprisingly good. 2). Da 5 Bloods is great. 3). The Gentleman (movie) is pretty fun if you're into Guy Ritchie's style. 4). The Harder they Fall 5). Rebel Ridge 6). The Killer 7). Godzilla Minus One If you're up for a TV show, The Night Agent is an easy watch.
unlabelledView post →Yeaaahh, Triple Frontier. I didn't know that movie was in theaters but it was pretty good.
unlabelledView post →Now, I know there is something deceptive about floatation being volume displaced and not weight or something? But I need a scientist on this one. Wouldn’t recommend the movie fyi Triple Frontier is the same concept done better imo
unlabelledView post →Triple Frontier is solid but alas part of late 2010s Netflix original film limbo

unlabelledView post →A dramatic and percussive action score, often tragic, for a terrific movie. We've watched this several times. One tangential note. No movie deals with the physical reality of huge amounts of cash better than Triple Frontier. (Ozark did well.) Other crime movies, which I will not mention, did not.

unlabelledView post →01. #TripleFrontier Superb movie 👌🏼 In most heist movies, heist is matter but this one focus aftermath of the heist. Climax is cool but predictable. Thanks @[email protected] bro for the suggestion.
unlabelledView post →Triple Frontier seems to want to say some important things about the way the US simultaneously uses its soldiers to enforce its will on other nations, yet also completely fails to take care of said soldiers, especially after they've retired. But that really seems like an afterthought in a pretty baseline classic heist formula. Nobody fails Triple Frontier particularly, it just gets lost trying to pick between a brodown and a message. Final rating:★★½ - Had a lot that appealed to me, didn’t…
