The expectation that we'll trudge through hour after unnecessary hour just because that's the business model.

unlabelledView post →So, finished Presumed Innocent (the series). Mixed feelings. Absolutely stellar work by every member of the cast. But the storytelling is all over the place and the courtroom scenes are excruciating. Some great moments, but overall it made me appreciate what the original book and movie did so well.
unlabelledView post →#TVTime If you watched the Apple+ series of Presumed Innocent with Jake Gyllenhal, the original movie, based on the Scott Turow book, is streaming free on Tubi! Harrison Ford, Bonnie Bedelia, Raul Julia, Brian Dennehy… www.imdb.com/title/tt0100...
unlabelledView post →It reminds me of the judge in the original Presumed Innocent movie shutting down a line of questioning saying “I don’t think we need to go into all this” because the judge himself was about to implicated by the witnesses answers.

Pakula, based on the novel by Scott Turow Harrison Ford is excellent, but it's Raul Julia that steals every scene. h/t @evanbernick.bsky.social www.youtube.com/watch?v=U8j6...

unlabelledView post →I tried watching Presumed Innocent (2024-) and everyone is just so awful. The infighting among the DA crew was a laugh but they were all douchebags anyway. I remember not a lot of likable characters in the movie either (actually I only remember Raul Julia as Harrison Ford’s lawyer in that movie).
unlabelledView post →Finally getting around to Presumed Innocent the series. Big fan of the book and the Harrison Ford movie, a great unsung courtroom drama. One episode in and all’s I can say is I hope they don’t screw up the very good things they’ve got going. This could work! We’ll see.

unlabelledView post →Presumed Innocent. The movie and the novel bring back memories.
unlabelledView post →Gave a very strong, very memorable, yet somehow still forgotten, performance as the ethically compromised Judge Larren Lyttle in PRESUMED INNOCENT. A movie I really wouldn't mind checking out again.
unlabelledView post →Juror #2 was a great little movie. It was like Presumed Innocent except 90 mins long instead of 10 episodes.

unlabelledView post →Anyone with AppleTV, The Gorge is a great film, and Presumed Innocent is a brilliant limited series 👏.
unlabelledView post →We’ve started Presumed Innocent and so far I can confirm that it is a long drawn out version of a movie that already existed and was pretty great and yet still I will probably watch the whole thing
unlabelledView post →watched PRESUMED INNOCENT - the Harrison Ford movie, not the new Apple TV series - recently and man, up until the last five minutes when it took a hard turn into shitsville I was really enjoying it

unlabelledView post →Au contraire - Presumed Innocent is based on the novel by Scott Turow who is lawyer. The original film follows the novel closely.

unlabelledView post →I enjoyed them all except Smile 2. I used to have a very low bar for horror but I think my tolerance for the genre is reducing. I think the best film here is Throne of Blood. But the most entertaining for me was Midnight Run. Presumed Innocent was good but I wouldn't watch it again. #filmsky

unlabelledView post →The weirdest thing about Apple's "Presumed Innocent" is that they keep ineffectively name-checking its Chicago setting in a series that's BLATANTLY filmed 98% in Los Angeles/Pasadena, plus some drone shots. Anyway, ICYMI, my review:

unlabelledView post →Presumed Innocent. This film brings back memories. I remember when the book by Scott Turow came out. I also remember the film adaptation's theatrical release. I was not able to see the movie in the theaters. I saw it on cable some time later. I ended up loving the film.

unlabelledView post →exactly. what if a Pakula movie was dumb? which Pakula himself would later do extremely well in stuff like The Pelican Brief and Presumed Innocent

unlabelledView post →Presumed Innocent is a great film.
unlabelledView post →that second episode is rough as hell, and kind of my issue. like come on, if you're trying to get me to take this as seriously as a movie, be as good as a movie. at least with Presumed Innocent, which literally had been a movie, the show was really all about that sweet sweet David E Kelley banter.

unlabelledView post →And Presumed Innocent! (the Harrison Ford movie, not the Apple series.)
unlabelledView post →Presumed Innocent, because let's add a bunch of filler to a very good 1990 movie? Like Scott Turow doesn't have other works that could be adapted? Really f'ed up twist at the end (differs from the movie) but they don't bring Raul Julia back from the dead - so meh.
unlabelledView post →I enjoyed the lurid and intriguing Presumed Innocent on Apple TV until, halfway through, I spoiled the show by suddenly remembering the movie.
unlabelledView post →So many series that are just too damn long these days. Take Presumed Innocent, which was a good 2 hour movie that was then made into a 6 hour series. The additional 4 hours added nothing but boredom.
