60 of 153 · most liked firstI want to say out of the gate that a I think it is very unjustified and unfair to give this game negative reviews for not being a Trials Fusion clone, additionally, these complaints are coming from people with less that 30 minutes in game. Trials of the Blood Dragon like Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon was never intended to be a successor or continuation of the parent game. If you were expecting that you should look elsewhere because you will likely be disappointed. Aside from similar gameplay…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you were looking for a new Trials game this is not for you. This game puts the worst aspects of the game's physics engine on display through wonky platforming, shooting, grappling, and jetpacking levels to name a few. Theres very few actual trials levels in this game that do not have any of these awful levels shoehorned into them. Not to mention the game doesn't have even a quarter of the content that Trials Fusion had. There's no track central, no challenges, no skill games, no fmx, no…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pros Unashamedly outlandish theme. Fun gameplay (on bike). Pretty graphics. Cons Main characters are... meh. On-foot gameplay feels clunky. No multiplayer. Performance Running at a solid 60fps for me on max settings at 1080p. Specs: Windows 10, i5-6600, GTX 960 4gb, 8gb DDR4. Overall 7.5/10 If you like Hotline Miami, Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon or over the top 80s movie culture in general, buy it. If you are a Trials purist and you're only interested in the gameplay, put it on your…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not worth 15 dollars. It's only about an hour and a half long and it's easy as ♥♥♥♥.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you are looking for a Trials game, don't buy it. If you like Trials and Far Cry: Blood Dragon, you can buy it. If you like the Horse-Part in Trials Fusion Awesome Level Max you can buy it too. It feels like 90% of the time you are not driving a bike in this game. This should be a 5Bucks DLC, but not a own game... @Redlynx/Ubisoft its realy time to do a Trials game again. Fusion, Awesome Level Max and Blood Dragon were funny, but now make an awesome game again please .
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The trials bits are fun, the on-foot stuff is the worst.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've never played a trials game or blood dragon, however I am really enjoying this game. The theme and plot are compelling and gameplay is solid. The majority of my playing so far has been spent trying to get the highest rank possible which is really tricky. Only problems I have are sometimes the physics don't work as expected which is frustrating when almost beating your best time but then dieing because your minecart bugged out. I don't mind the platforming, at first it felt really…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Supports 21:9 Monitors Lots of graphics options So far you do sections like trials, then jump off your bike and have sections where your on foot and shooting. Then your back on your bike doing trials type levels while shooting too all with crazy over the top cut scenes just like the screenshots show. The graphics are 10/10, Great job on the amazing backgrounds It seems to be limited to 60 fps which I don't see as a problem. I recommend this game :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Doesn't feel like a trials game
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →enjoying the acid trip of a game. not a traditional trials but still loads of fun!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Trials of the Blood Dragon is a game I was surprised by; it was a wacky experience yet still felt like it belongs in the Trials family. Whilst the number of levels could be higher and the shooting mechanics could be better, it still provided me a few hours of entertainment and that is why I bought it. P.S. The grappling hook is so cool...

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The Rundown After the events of Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon (amazing game, check it out), Rex Power Colt has had two kids: Slayter and Roxanne, who have been tasked with dismantling the Empire of Vietnam, ending Vietnam War IV. You commandeer different vehicles depending on the course, and sometimes even complete missions on foot as either character. Just like Blood Dragon, it tries to pull off an OTT 80s style. The pros The soundtrack in this game is great (but this could be my synthwave…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Did you like Trials fusion? Did you like Farcry 3: Blood Dragon? Do you like nostalgic early 90's Vidja gaems? Its all 3 wrapped into one game. REX/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I must say I have very mixed feelings about this game after playing through the story. I bought it because I liked Fary Cry 3: Blood Dragon. The story in this game is entertaining and the soundtrack is great. The A E S T H E T I C S are on point but man the controls are just awful. I enjoyed the voice acting, and I think the game is very pretty, for what kind of game it is. However if you aren't usually a fan of the sidescrolling biker games, prepare to be frustrated. And ultimately.. While I…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's not a bad game, just not a trial game. The more I played the more I get frustrated by the blatant lack of actual trial gameplay, Most of them replaced by annoying platforming levels with terrible controls. It's quite a shame because you can tell they had a great time creating and designing this game and the 90s vibe is just what I like. Still If you expect a full motorbike game, don't buy this one :(
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →no track central.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you're expecting a Trials Fusion clone then don't buy this game. Whilst the bike riding aspect is the exact same, this game is completely different. It's a completely fresh Trials experience. Combines platforming at some points, then goes to riding a bike whilst shooting a gun. I personally think the price is a bit too high. Within my 3.3 hours current gametime I've completed the main story as well as the extra tracks from the ubisoft rewards points and the secret ones. (Which involves…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game can't be finished since the servers are down and times can't be uploaded to the leaderboard anymore. What a joke.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is not a typical Trials game. There are very few actual Trials levels. Instead, they shoehorned it terrible platforming levels that control miserably. The aesthetic is cool, but its a shame it wasn't actually put into a good Trials game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm going to start this off with a simple review, then gush. If you want to read a review, than the first part is for you. Trials of the Blood Dragon takes two Ubisoft Franchises and mixes them together well. I had never really tried a Trials game before, and by reading other reviews, I will say this isn't the best one? However, the nods to other products, the graphics, and the gameplay are all stellar. I'm not the best at this style of game, but even I am having a blast playing it. If you…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Lots of fun as a fan of Farcry Blood Dragon.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →NOT A TRIALS GAME. Just play till your eyes water at the sheer beauty and over-the-top-anti-commie-action.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Soo just doing like, 4 of the "stories" I can say that this game looks amazing is plays very well. I don't think people should be so butt hurt about it not being a Trials clone. And also, Uplay... oh well... quite ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about it and deal with it. Its a great game if you can just not be a ♥♥♥♥♥ about those simple things. Acid Trip/Memez
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →First off, I've played Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon and all of the Trials games. The story is just not believable, not even to a 10 year old kid. There are a few jokes here and there but none of them are very funny. If you're expecting a game like Trials Evolution or Trials Fusion, you'd most likely be disappointed. The game-play is just not what you would expect from a Trials game. Half of the time you'll be playing as one of the kids in a 2D 'run and shoot' game and other half, you'll be playing…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This isn't Trials... Nor is it Far Cry.. It's some sort of wierd cross between the two. And my god is that an awesome soundtrack, and the cutscenes are pretty cool as well. As far as the gameplay it seems to have a bunch of strangely composed levels tied together, and of course the bike ones are the best. The whole rotation of vehicles things is creative, but really the bike is the only one I've had no faults with. Right now Uplay is dead so I can't play much longer, so the only real negative…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I hate it. The mission in which you must carry a bomb with a jetpack and the "Intensive Military Training" levels are the worst things that ever happened to me. I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Take everything you loved about Trials and remove it from the game. Add in a crummy platformer with twin-stick shooter controls. Add in a heaping helping of Miami Vice, Rambo, and Alf...and this is what you get. The story, art style, and music is pretty cool. If you are a Trials fan and love the difficult motorcycle racing...this game is definitely not for you.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its a bit like the other Trials games with added guns, jetpacks, swinging hooks and commies, you even get to shoot stuff while riding. There are on foot missions too where you get to shoot stuff and learn to hate lasers. While on foot the controllers feel clunky and will make you die a few extra times making it the least likeable part of the game. Overall a good short game with a lot to unlock.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →https://youtu.be/ckyDzY5Px8k Well.... Its different. I am torn I like the art and bike gameplay, the on foot parts are weird but playable. I am a fan of trials but with the lack of multiplayer and challanges I couldn't recommend this game at this time.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →"Hey, did you watch all of the Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon cutscenes like we told you to?" "Yes sir, Ubisoft." "Which one looked the most... interesting to you?" "The sex scene. Why?" "Funny you say that, because we want you to make an entire Trials game based on that cutscene." "...I'm not sure we follow." "Continue the Blood Dragon storyline where it left off after Rex defeats Sloan and the Omega Force. Rex gets married with Dr. Darling and they have two kids. One of them is named after a The…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I ignored the reviews hoping for an interesting crossover of Trials games and one of my favorite Far Cry games. The overall tone of the game is fun and I love the cheesiness of it BUT the gameplay leaves much to be desired. I knew there would be on-foot sections but after 4 missions in a row without using the bike once and fighting with the floaty unresponsive controls, the game becomes more of a slog through the rough sections. The bike sections are great, as few and far between as they…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →PROS: - A lot of variety in gameplay - Interesting level designs and changes - Story has its funny moments - Great Set Pieces CONS: - Short as all hell - Pretty easy compared to other Trails games - Voice acting is BAAAAAAD I was kind of surprised to see this pop up on steam, I honestly thought it was one of those ♥♥♥♥♥♥ rip-offs that slide in through greenlight. Turns out this is all legit and once you actually start playing the game that becomes pretty obvious. The production values for the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its good until the Jetpack mission comes up. Went from fun all the way to frustrating.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Amazing game, its like playing a retro cartoon mixed with hotline miami. You play two characters, Rox the Girl and Slayter the boy, both has a similar fight level. Rox is more stelth and Slay more rambo styl. With Rox you can walk and shoot and drive your moto, with Slay you drive your moto and shoot driving. You use the same masks as on hotline miami, at least the horse and tiger mask are the same. Pro: Nice tracks Good retro look Good story Nice gameplay (shoot, drive, eliminate enemies)…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Some of the worst platforming segments I've ever played - your vertical speed increases as you jump, which is unnatural and awkward and terrible.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Loving this game so far. Massive player of Trials Fusion gaining a bunch of hours loving that game when everyone was hating on it also, now also loving this game with only a few hours so far. Completed all the tracks been going for better times now.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of the only things that can be considered good is the soundtrack and bike sections (maybe) Everything else is either mediocre or bad. Other sections of the game like the on-foot and jetpack parts feel very janky and sometimes infuriating (not like in a fun way) If you are going to buy this game (hopefully not) just please buy it when it is on sale One more thing, You can't 100% the game as the servers are down and one achievement is forever locked from that.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not for trials fans. It's an okay platformer but I was expecting a retro themed trials game and that's not what this is. The bike physics have just gone downhill since Trials Evo. The story mode feels lazy and disjointed but it is kind of amusing if you're into 80s retro cliche.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Completely fails to run because Uplay refuses to accept the account it claims I have created. Would not recommend unless you're willing to jump through hoops with Uplay.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Trials of the Blood Dragon is a nice departure from the Trials series. If you are lookig for a normal Trials game, then this title is not for you. However, if you are open to changes, then I highly recommend this game. There are a few tedious sections here and there, but you will be able to get over it and enjoy the game for what it is. Like the normal series, the Trials sections get more and more difficult throughout the progression of the game. Sadly, I felt as though it was not super…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's ok but don't take it too seriously, it's got some nice trials tracks and then a few sections similar to (but not as good) Shadow Complex and Flashback. Graphics are nice if you are really into chromatic aberration. Whatever you do, don't take it seriously, it's just a bit of fun and I think it's price point reflects that.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game was good it looked played well and the music was awesome as a typical raceing game makeing its first atempt at some platforming it could have been worse apart from those jetpack sections because jesus ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ christ and the anti gravity levle out of nowhere this game was great and was well worth the money this game clocked in at 4 hours for £12.00 so good value I would like to see more from this idea as it was a good time.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →servers are offline, one achievement is unobtainable and retarded ass drm makes it so it cant be played on steam deck
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Garbage. Ugly style, ugly plot, ugly gameplay. If you adore 'Far Cry 3 - Blood Dragon' like I do, just replay it. Don't buy this.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What a f***ing piece of turd of a game this is I really loved blood dragon from far cry 3, very nice game with sick art style and great atmosphere ... but this one has only the name in common, sure some of this retro wave/80s style presentation is still well done here but let me tell you, it plays like crap, mainy due to physics that are just plain bad, and the story and main characters are just stupid and annoying Most of the time they got the artstyle quite wrong too, some flashy lights…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Overall its a decent game. Had fun out of the few hours i got but besides just grinding A+ on all the tracks not much replay value there should really be multiplayer and track editor again
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Banger soundtrack, boring and janky gameplay mechanics and overall feel. Artstyle doesnt match the original Blood Dragon at all. Just buy the soundtrack.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →First of all, don't go into this expecting a pure Trials biking game since you only use the bike about a third of the time. The bike that you do get is pretty bottom tier as far as Trials bikes go, and the parts that don't involve the bike are a bit awkward and clumsy. However, the over the top nature of the game and the pure fun that can be had out of it makes up for most of these negatives since you can really see the experimentation in the track design and various abilities/modes of travel.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is the perfect example of experimentation over refinement. This review comes from a huge fan of Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, and someone who has dabbled in and played a few of the Trails games in the past. Seeing as I loved FC3BD, and had played some of the Trials franchise, I figured I'd give this one a try. This game was something I had wanted to play for a long time now, but the mixed reviews scared me off from it at first. Luckily, I caught it on sale and...well I'm glad I did. This…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Okay here's the deal. There are much better trials games and MUCH better platformer games. If you haven't already extensively played and enjoyed previous trials games, leave and come back to this review when you have. Okay now assuming you are a trials veteran, here is what to expect. This is coming from someone who has 150+ hours played. The story mode will be completed in about 2-3 hours. This consists of a collection of 26 levels, which are a mashup of some beginner tracks, a couple…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I broke my hand while playing this game, but i'm good now would rate it 11/10 ~Olof
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →In a word: Godawful.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Trials of the Blood Dragon has a lot in common with its infamous E3 presentation; a great, bold, different idea on paper that turned out terrible in execution. I came into this game expecting very polished level design as seen in the previous Trials games. Trials HD and Trials Evolution both had a great difficulty curve, tons of customization, and different bikes for you to choose from. This game offers none of that. You are set in a 27 mission single player experience. No different bikes. No…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Trials Of The Blood Dragon was not really a good game or anything but Power Glove knocked this soundtrack out if the fuckin park
unlabelledView post →Pretty good. I hope they release another Blood Dragon game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ninja cybercommandos, communist insectoid aliens, hotline miami references (there's a whole level pack), vietnam war, 80s entorauge - that's what you get Controls made by imbecile, so 6\10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is not a good trials game and also not a good platformer game. For most people, it would be a waste of time to play any minute of this game. Getting A or A+ grade is extremely hard while physics and control is extremely unbelievable that this game is 21th product. You can't even get uplay rewards because evolution of your pet, needs A+ from whole maps. Only 10% of whole pc player evolved their pet to final form. WOW If this game was about 5 bucks I would have really enjoyed this game…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you like Trials then you might like this game, but if you just liked the first Blood Dragon then avoid it. The game is totally different and seems like a cash in on the Blood Dragon name. It's the same price as the first one but has probably less than half the play time. And that includes going back to get better grades in the stages, which I have no idea why anyone would want to do. The whole point of the game is just to get from point A to point B, but do it with terrible controls and…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Blood Dragon infects another Ubisoft franchise. Story: Rex Power Colt has settled and now has two kids Roxanne and Slayter. Just like their father 12 years before, they are tasked with a crazy task, take down the Empire of Vietnam and stop their forces and end Vietnam War 4. For fans of the original Blood Dragon, the story is about the same absolutely over the top and crazy experience, just a lot more toned down for a more younger audience, but the same type of humor is still here. I've…
