60 of 98 · most liked first*Just to add to it, this is ofcourse my personal view of the game, it's in no way an official statement, nor a fact, your experience with the game can still vary, take that in mind :-)* I was able to test this game before it even got released and I tested both singleplayer and multiplayer aspects of it. The multiplayer review can be seen on the video and it also covers visual and functional part of the game, it can be found at the bottom of this review :-) Now, I haven’t played the first…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The Game seemed decent at first and I was enjoying it, but I then hit a progression breaking bug and I was unable to get any feedback from the forums. There has not been any recent updates nor has the developer spoke on the forums for months. I would say buyer beware on this one as I am not sure if it will ever be updated again and the forums are pretty dead. I will say to be fair that up until I hit the bug it was an okay hack and slash ARPG. That said, I don't think even without the bug…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Glitchy, undercooked, overpriced mess. Pros: nice atmosphere & above average voice acting. Decent Art direction. Cons: Lame AI Pathfinding. Weak unresponsive controls. NPCs will regularly glitch out, stand totally still & make quests impossible to finish. Exiting & restarting the game doesn't always fix that problem. Bad level design. The Mini map is worthless. You'll wander around lost while an Infection clock ticks down. The Escort missions are a nightmare.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a trap! - Do not buy this game for Multiplayer/coop purpose! Unless you're no "retro single player"-lover this game makes false promises. The muliplayer mode is DOWN. For some reasons you cannot reach a single host, nor host by yourself. Devs doesn't respond to fix this issue, apparently because they abandoned this title inofficially but like to suck money from this half-broken remainings. We were eager to see a lively adventure and were deeply disappointed as we figured out, that for…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →TD:L is a fun little arpg/hack'n slash. If you like diablo, torchlight, van helsing, etc... you might like this game, as the gameplay is similar. Tons of loot, equipped armors and weapons changes your appearance, old school level progression (skill tree but also level up stats), multiple characters to play as, multiple difficulties, and, although nothing mind blowing, a cool story. I applaud the devs for including gamepad support in an iso arpg, which used to be rare for these games to have…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The Multiplayer didn't work correctly, don't waste your money with this game like me and my friend, we can't play multiplayer because the game has a big sync problem with host and client, and no one can solve this problem since 4 weeks that we reported...
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →loving it, good hack and slash rpg type of game. 7 hours straight to finish the game on normal love achievements even though its repetetive but thats achievement ♥♥♥♥♥♥ xD if you wanna kill some time i recommend
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Multiplayer doesn't work. If you want buy to play coop, give up.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Trapped Dead was a game that didn’t receive much acclaim from either gamers or critics. The gameplay was monotonous, the UI clunky, the enemy AI seemed to have trouble pathfinding toward the player, and bugs/crashes were rampant. While the RPG-style leveling, skills, and gear kept hardcore fans of the genre engaged, many people weren’t satisfied with the amount of entertainment offered. There are plenty of games that performed the same functions a lot better. When a second installment was…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A pretty nice hack and slash game :) And i enjoy me some good Zombie slaying! But its a faily relaxing zombie killing RPG game this one, so far atleast in single player, so if you enjoy a bit of zombie killing you should go ahead and get this game. And here is some gameplay from the start of the singleplayer https://youtu.be/8Z7U0dWwnWY
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's been pretty hard for me to decide how to grade Trapped Dead: Lockdown. By today's gaming standards, game would certainly be thumbs down title. But then again, screw the standards and let's see if I had some fun. Judging by that thumps pointing up, I guess I did. Maybe, just maybe you'll remember Trapped Dead, isometric tactical Commandos-went-George Romero game that was really interesting, but had a plaguing problems concerning bugs and bad camera positioning. I really wanted to play that…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The zombies will be back but I won't.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →First Impressions: A fairly typical action RPG that features five different classes, items with durability that need repaired via cash, quests, and etc. I'm all for zombie action RPGs, though the voice acting can be a bit much/out there at times. I also don't like the inventory system, requiring you to click on a slot and then choose from the available items (similar to Diablo III for the Xbox 360). I really haven't seen anything yet that revolutionizes the genre, but it's not bad for what…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good diablo clone zombie shooter, the best game in the crappy trapped dead series of games. Get it on sale or in a bundle.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Hack n' Slash game with zombies and badass characters (still trying to decide which one of them is more badass). Environment is great and everything plays really nicely from the start. Overall great game, has my recommendation.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pretty cool game. If you like Diablo games, you will like this one. Plays like a Hack n'Slash but in the middle of a zombie apocalypse with a storyline. The combat is quite cool, and there's plenty of weapons available, from axes to pistols or shotguns.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a bug infested turd just like their first game!No doubt they'll leave it like that too just like their first game!Lesson learned...i'll never purchase anything from them again!DO NOT BUY!!!

In your frustration, you buy a Summer Mystery Bundle from notorious sh1tbag peddler, Fanatical since it promises a chance at "winning" AAA games. Instead of getting Nioh 2 or even Internet Cafe…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →- The game has bug that can't progress further, really annoying. This game should be pulled out from Steam.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Trapped Dead: Lockdown is an homage to the horror movies of the ’80s with players controlling their characters in a 3rd person isometric view. Each character has a different storyline so picking a new character to play with will give you a new story and new objectives to completing their path. In addition, each character has their own individual strengths and abilities so you will have to use those particular attributes to their fullest in order to capitalize on what each character is best…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wow....this was pretty bad. Right from the start , you are pissed off and assaulted with poor UI/UX choices e.g. by way of being randomly buffeted with "Help dialogs" that halt the game and spawn in different areas of the screen, with no keyboard shortcut for closing them, requiring that you click on a small 'X' to do so. Pity, this game had some potential and would have been a nice diablo-esque in a modern setting. A work of amateurs no doubt. And uninspired developers maybe.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game has been abandoned and the dev has move on to a new project. The game's multiplayer is broken, which is the main reason I bought it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A buggy mess that's been abandonded by the devs. Avoid!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Blood curdling fear dripping work of rotting terror. A DIABLO, VAN HELSING style hack and slash action rpg in a modern setting with grim ambience of BLOOD and the first POSTAL where death is everywhere. You can choose between several characters who each are really well voice acted. You will be able to level up attributes and skills personalizing your character by putting level up points in these areas. Characters are varied with some being able to use guns while others like the Priest relying…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For a zombie theme lover like myself its quite fun! Bloody, twisted and ... oh wait... more blood :D Dialogs have that oldschool touch to it with nasty humour which makes the eery atmosphere less heavy. Highly recommend to people like me who love the trashy feels of a Horror B flick.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great zombie slasher game, even better than what I was expecting. The story is simple and direct, but I guess that's the point (class b horror movie vibe). Cars are awesome, period.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For people who grow up enjoing playing diablo, legacy of kain, baldurs gate, zombies at my neborhood, snatcher, resident evil and games a like this is a must have, awesome creepy atmosfear, great dialogs and voice acting. A well upgrade from the hard controlls chararters of the first one. give it a try for a great 90's horror feeling.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Multiplayer works just fine And I Baught A 4 pack. Loving The game with friends A must If you like RPG's ,Zombies, 4 player co op, leveling system, different classes, and theres sooo many weapons to find or buy at a dealer, and of course special abilities for every class. On sale The 4 pack was only $2.99 for the winter sale 2015. I couldn't asked for more.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →DO NOT BUY. Game is unfinished and unpolished. It CAN be completed, but this feels like a work in progress, nearing completion. Ok, I went through one playthrough. Supposedly, you want to finish the game with all characters to get their stories. Don't bother, the story is generic zombie/mad scientist combo. The assets are taken from existing character models (one of the bad guys is Nick Fury, the pre-Marvel films version). The story is the same for all characters I think, judging from the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Trapped Dead: Lockdown is yet another game that makes me wish there was a meh button. It has dated graphics, controls okay with an Xbox 360 controller, and a very cliche' story, not totally boring but close to it and the combat is slightly enjoyable. There are bugs in the game and I had to quit a few times and reload in order to my character unstuck. The acheivements are bugged as hell, half them don't work. There are 4 different characters to choose from, 4 difficulty levels and acheivements…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Trapped Dead: Lockdown is mediocre game but still good to try. Pros: - Good Story - alot characters to choise ( 5 ) each one have their final +/- same - good atmosphere about zombies - variable waepons to choise and skills - The dialogues with some Npcs are funny ( they used bad language +best ) Cons: - Need good Optimization - a Little Buggy sometimes when clicking with the mouse. I only recommend this game if you have a big discount.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I recommend it only if you get it on sale, and you like the graphic style, and you have a Xbox 360 controller that works on your PC. It was satisfying wandering around killing things and exploring, and I liked the game up until the driving levels. There's lots of unfair and unbalanced parts, but they give you a checkpoint right before so it's not that bad. The keyboard + mouse controls are really bad though, you use the number keys to drink health potions and do 1 of 2 special moves, and your…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cool hack-n-slash game in a zombie apocalyptic setting. Fun and very easy to get into. Love the playable characters.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Promised co-op doesn't work here
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Trapped Dead: Lockdown and first off is way ahead and much better than it's prequel. That said, decent RPG very straight forward, hack n' slash isometric Torchlight style but as it's ugly cousin.. Lacks more settings options, the inventory sys. is it's worst feature imo. plain simple almost calling us players all dumbs, short itens capacity, the weapons, itens and clothing gets damage real quick, boss's at the end of each chapter or phase whatever, seem all the same, the skill set are not…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A rather fun hack n slash zombie game all about tearing through hordes of the undead, completing quests and exploring until your reach your final objective. The combat is comparable to ARPG's like Path of Exile or Diablo just not as refined, the skill progression system isn't the most intuitive but it gets the job done. Overall its a decent game that I believe isn't quite worth the twenty dollar price tag, in my opinion if it were cut in half it'd be a more reasonable price for what you get.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →[Revised 11 June 2015] Trapped Dead: Lockdown is a rock-solid, kill-the-zombies game that doesn't take itself too seriously. The dialogue, scenery, and characters are all cartoonish without being cartoony. The combat is fun, franetic, and delightfully gory, yet requires some tactical considerations, not simple button mashing. I can't tell you if you'll like it, but I can tell you that the very first time I played it, i played it for 3 hours straight.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Had completed this game back in 2015 in my friend's house now i purchased to play again & support the dev its a cool game, i enjoyed it had fun, nostalgia for me :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →4/10 no co-op as advertised on the trailer and i think this game has been abandoned since like 2015
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you like to kill zombies, get this! I did not expect much, but got a solid simple shooter with isometric view. You move with the mouse and shoot/attack with the mouse and don't move while shooting with "shift", just like Diablo and it's many clones. You chose a character which restricts the weapons you can use and seems to give you a unique skill tree. The weapons are fun to shoot as far as I saw in my 3 hours so far. Of course I started with melee, because melee is the best in zombie…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you've played the first Trapped Dead game, most likely you won't want to pay for a sequel. Despite what you may have heard, it wasn't the worst game ever made, but boy, oh boy, it was bad. So, the fact that sequel is actually better than the first game is not really a big surprise to me. I mean, come on. It was hard to make it worse. Sure, Trapped Dead was bad, but to make it even worse, you should have some sort of talent. That certain talent to make awful games. Or you should be a scammer.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →After so many hours I am really a hardcore fan of this game. Recommended! Update 2018.07.19.: After 3 years I returned to play this game, and its still good, not just in my memories. And I really enjoy it. Doing the assassin and the excorcist in hard mode now. Update 2018.07.29.: Solo hard level completed with the assassin (the last 4-5 levels was easy with the golden sniper rifle) and with the butcher. However with the excorcist I cant defend alone the helicopter pilot at the Fletcher…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I rarely leave a review but felt this game deserving of one. I collect games and usually just take them out for a quick test drive with the intention of getting back to them if one appears to have potential. Of the three games I bought today Trapped Dead: Lockdown was the one I held out the least amount of hope for. Much to my surprise this little game was a blast and I was blown away by it enough to go back in my libraray and break out the original Trapped Dead and start it up to. Trust me…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really fun game to play with some really cool character classes. Classes can be further customized in the skill tree to reflect how you play. AI is well done and there is a good range of types of enemies you will encounter.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →No custom controls fro driving car, unplayable.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →terrible game player gets stuck for no reason
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Poorly balanced, unimaginative game. Good if you just want something to waste some time in while you download a better game or to check off a list of zombie games to play, but not worth anything on its own merit.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →When a sale comes along, I'm always excited to see what I will find; Trapped Dead: Lockdown was no exception. So the positives first: 1.A good idea of changing the typical RPG setting for once. 2.The classes are easily identified from the zombies and eachother. 3.Classes have weapons they can and can't use, so playing in a group with many classes is encouraged through gameplay. 4.The opening segments, while not visually exceptional, are filled in with a level of small details similar to parts…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Extremely glitchy - no fixes found online - waste of time!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Can´t believe this is a game from 2015. Looks like Diablo 2 .. only worse. Plays worse. Better get D2 or Titan Quest if you want to play a budget Hack´n´Slay and forget about this
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The opportunity to play as an exorcist in the middle of the zombie apocalypse, armed with magical-energy-ball firing crucifixes and rosaries, or holy water and bibles, has all the makings of insane fun. So when I fired up Trapped Dead Lockdown, I thought I was in for a ball of a time. The first thing I noticed was the experience system. Instead of an empty bar, you start each level with a full one. The bar represents fear. For each zombie you kill, your fear reduces. When the bar’s empty, you…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →In a world full of hack and slash games and zombie games Trapped Dead Lockdown comes running in with the intentions of standing out but instead falls short of everything one would want. The story is just straight up B Horror film wannabe but while having a few laughs doesn’t hold interest and I expect most that play this won’t be doing so for the story. The graphics as well don’t really stand out and often times were muddy and not close to modern standards. Characters often enough talk for way…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →"Trapped Dead: Lockdown still has some issues to deal with like the unresponsive controls and buggy AI. The multiplayer feature would have been a saving factor if not for the hard to reach servers. Still is a good zombie game." negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →really not as bad as people like to make it out to be. It's a weird mix between slop and some portions being high quality. Animation quality and jank is certainly up there with the slop. but The story and voice acting, the interlocking of one sequence after another in semi-linear progression, it's well thought out. The best description I can give this game is Diablo or Hellgate:london with zombies. I haven't come across any game breaking bugs yet. Just be ready to tank a small horde or the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just Finished Playing: Trapped Dead: Lockdown From the backlog. This has mixed reviews, and complaints about game breaking bugs. Aside from a CTD if I try to ALT-TAB out, it is mostly bug free. And what bugs are there can be worked around and don't break the game...
unlabelledView post →this second trapped dead game is much better than the first try they did in every way. It looks a tad better, sounds the same and the game just plays a lot faster then the first trapped dead game. I have not experienced the gamebreaking bugs others are complaining about yet. I must say in the one and a half hours i have been playing this, that it has been worth every penny. It feels a bit like a budget game, and it ofcourse is just that. As things are right now i would say, try this game out.…
