The entire experience revolves around delivering goods to the correct stations by train—and that’s about it. Any sense of strategic depth or thoughtful planning that made TV2 enjoyable has been completely removed. It’s hard to understand why the developers would release a sequel that feels like such a step backward. I came in expecting a rewarding puzzle experience, but what I got was a lightweight,…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I dont think the Dev gets what made Train valley 2 great. It was the Transport of Goods (graphics were better then as well) You had to do math regarding capacity of train and good required. Level Design was also much better This is more or less a dumbed down version of train valley 2. So great as a puzzle game, sucks as a train valley 2 successor.

unlabelledView post →I've played the whole saga and this looks like a cheap copy of the others. I'ts very repetitive, all the scenarios look alike, even the music is a worst variation of the previous games.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I cannot recommend this game at this time. Firstly, the gameplay is greatly simplified compared to Train Valley 2. While it isn't necessarily bad (I do still enjoy sending the trains where they need to go), I would have preferred gameplay similar to TV2 where you are creating resources and combining them to make more complicated products. The simplified gameplay loop of just sending trains from A to B just means the game loses a lot of depth. Secondly, the track building was simplified to…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Gameplay is really cool. I am not a huge fan of trains in games but it was simple and intuitive for me. Love the music and atmosphere. Great job devs!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game sets itself up like a train-themed puzzler. Make some tracks, control the switches to make trains take one rail or the other, get them to their destination safely. Use the money you earn to expand your train network. I like it, even though I'm not a train guy. (* If you came in from Train Valley 2, see some notes at the end.) But folks, what this game actually is is Dark Souls, Train Edition. If you have ADD, that is. Ah, I am one of those people, as if you couldn't tell by…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Train Valley 2 is one of my favorite games. I have over 600 hours played. It is rich with puzzle content that scales as you learn, and challenges you to REALLY solve the puzzles to beat the levels and/or get high on the leaderboards. Unfortunately the newest installment in the series, Train Valley Origins fails to live up to the quality and depth of its predecessor. I beat the game in 10 hours with 100% achievements, and didn't feel challenged for more than maybe 10 minutes. Very simple, very…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game was a pleasant surprise! The levels progress smoothly — it starts off simple and relaxing, but then you really start to sweat, especially if you're aiming for all 5 stars. After the first biome, things get seriously challenging, and I love that. What else... The music is really nice — it doesn’t get annoying even after dozens of retries. And honestly, I never thought managing train traffic could be fun, but this game proves otherwise.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Caveat: I am a huge fan of Train Valley 2. If you were looking for more gameplay like Train Valley 2, this game does not provide it. It is a good game, BUT I don't like how it plays compared to Train Valley 2. Its gameplay is a downgrade. I bought it because I was a huge fan of TV2 so I felt let down by the gameplay. They leaned into forcing pressure onto the player (auto sheduled trains) which creates a very unfun situation where you have a train going INTO a station just as a train…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Train Valley Origins is like Train Valley 2 but without all the fun of the ressources management. It is just meaningless!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A great rage train game. The core gameplay is placing tracks full of track switches that you must manually switch to get the trains to the correct destinations. Space is severly limited and normally ends in crazy spaghetti to make all destinations reachable. The fun kicks in as you buy bonus deliveries creating a juggling act of too many trains going in too many different locations. Forgetting to trigger a switch causes absolute chaos and solving your own mess under time pressure makes you…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I bought it because comments said it is a chill and laidback game. Well... Turns out, it is absolutely false. You can't just build and manage things in your own pace, because you have to complete every level in a given time. The clock is ticking, literally. This is everything, but chill.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a great game, just the thing to relax after a day at work. I want to praise the developers, you've got a great product!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Everything that was great in each of the former Train Valley series games cherry-picked and now rolled into one true masterpiece with no drawbacks of any kind. What could there possibly be NOT to love about this game? A Train Valley puzzle is a fantastic and fun way to shake your brain awake while sipping your morning coffee. Beautiful and pleasant graphics and sounds, great gameplay, map sharing, zero crashes and not enough bugs to mention; this is how polished all games should be when…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Train Valley 1 classics gameplay returned in much better visuals. Much recommended! and Spasibo za podkast :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As a fan of Train Valley 1 and 2, it was a no-brainer to get this one, especially since we're playing it together with my son. Unfortunately, this one is so buggy I cannot recommend it in the current form. I can't fathom how something can be released in such a poor state - almost every play session we need to restart a level because something breaks. Just right now, we had 2 challenges fail because the game decided on one side that a bridge would be a bridge, and on the other side, it would…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Choo-choo, chaos! 🚂💥 Train Valley Origins is like your childhood train set, but with way more crashes and way more satisfaction. It brings back the magic of Train Valley 1, only now the track-building is smoother, the trains are cuter, and the disasters are 100% your fault (and somehow still hilarious). The puzzles start off chill but ramp up fast - one minute you’re sipping tea, the next you’re screaming at two trains racing toward the same junction like it’s a spaghetti western. And I…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →After playing this game, one thing became crystal clear - my career as a railroad dispatcher is in serious jeopardy. On the bright side, I'd make an excellent railway saboteur! 😄 This game is magnificent in its simplicity: you lay down tracks, trains cheerfully zoom along... until BAM - they meet face-to-face and have that silent conversation: "What's up, bro?" 😅 Why? Because yours truly "forgot" to switch the points, of course! Turns out the real enemy of logistics isn't hackers - it's me…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A very addictive game, highly recommended for puzzle and train lovers, you will definitely have to use your brain, but you will like the result once you sort things out
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A fun puzzle game with plenty of explosions. I hadn’t played the earlier installments, so this one opened up the whole Little Trainy world for me.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like Train Valley games, both the original Train Valley formula of just directing trains from A to B, and the Train Valley 2 formula with resource management. Train Valley Origins goes back to the original Train Valley formula. It definitely had a lot of potential. Unfortunately this is a much worse experience than TV1 and TV1-like DLC of TV2. The game is full of bugs. About a quarter of levels I played, I had to restart due to a game-breaking bug. Some examples: - Deleted a track under a…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Buggy mess. At some point, trains will arrive in a station and just stay there, not disappearing, causing the next train to enter the station to explode. Switches on tracks will go red and you won't be able to move them, despite no train being on them, and when the next train arrives, it will explode (probably because it hits the invisible train that makes the track switches red). Also, after the welcome complexity of Train Valley 2, this game devolves backwards to what Train Valley 1 was, not…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really tried to like this game as I spent quite a while with Train Valley 2 and it was great fun at first. in the later missions (25+) both the difficulty steeply increases and a lot of bugs start appearing. This could be things like the wrong connection being chosen when connecting a station, thus trains not being able to depart without exploding or trains somehow splitting up and wagons disappearing while the engine itself with the remaining wagons is never counted as having arrived at its…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The tag relaxing is the opposite of what this game is 8/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Okay, as a dispatcher in my model railroad club, I've always loved TV1. When I looked at TV2, I realized it was a puzzle game, something I really wasn't interested in (to me, the entire thing becomes an effort to simply solve some very tricky puzzle, and not just moving trains as efficiently as you can). This is why I loved TV1 - that I could play the sandbox levels over and over. Then I discovered TVO, which is more TV1 than 2 or 3. And I as delighted. While I haven't gotten to the point…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a dumbed down version of Train Valley 2 - if you've already played that game then there is no point to trying this game. It's not engaging at all.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There are currently quite a few bugs in the game. For example, trying to lay track in some areas of the Yellowstone level will break the game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Train Valley Origins goes back to the roots of the Train Valley series. As I write this review, I'm about 1/3 of the way through the campaign and have really been enjoying it so far. It's a simplified take on Train Valley 2, reminiscent of the "Passenger Flow" DLC from that game - only instead of letters indicating passenger destinations, there are now "products" (but there seems to be no gameplay effect from moving different products around). Like previous entries in the series, it's a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm usually not reviewing products lol, prefer to spent time playing games, but Train Valley is another case. I can recommend Train Valley as a safe place to relax after super hero duties or surviving after another apocalypse. I like it's slow and relaxing pace and challenging tasks. Thanks Flazm team for the game and to Alex personally for the podcast!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A rather thoroughly developed game that combines elements of a puzzle and a management simulator. The game’s visual design features vibrant stylization, which greatly simplifies orientation within the game space. The developers have successfully found a balance between relaxing gameplay and sufficient complexity that encourages players to strive for perfect level completion. P.S. It’s worth noting separately that it is necessary to continue pilit' and teret'.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What can I say about Train Valley Origins. This is my first game of this franchise and I really amazed by vibes? Tone of this game? 'Cause I feel relaxed during game At hard moment of my life it's good pill for me I am also incredibly happy that I remember my childhood when I also had a toy locomotive and a road. In addition, warm days of train trips to the village to my great-grandmother Sofia Thanks a lot!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Train Valley Origins is a game about crashing trains and manic hustle. Got through all 40 levels and made an attempt at getting all stars unsuccessfully in 15.4 hours using a keyboard and mouse. Train Valley 1 is a work of art where you have to plan where to place tracks depending on when trains are set to leave their stations. There's a level of appreciative grind and planning involved, and the tracks come together like clockwork. Train Valley 2 is more of a resource management game…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Train Valley Origins is a callback to the original formula of the Train Valley series with a cute exterior and refined game play. Ultimately I would describe it as an easy to pickup train-based puzzle game about time management and strategy. I really must emphasise that compared to the likes of Train Valley 2 and Train Valley World, the scale is much smaller, but this change also makes it way less confusing and something that is more relaxing. I'm not a fan of the pseudo loot box mechanic…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game has potential. I have played it a lot cause the concept if fun, but it's just SOOOO buggy. We will see if that changes but for now its just not worth it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a fun game. I've sunk hundreds of hours into TV2 and this has much of the same charm, just with a bit of a different mood. I want to recommend it, but I can't just yet. In its current state this game is extremely buggy and shouldn't have been released yet. The track building in particular is atrocious. Track can cost different amounts depending on which direction you build it from. Sometimes you can't even build a certain route except from one direction. Bridges glitch, tunnels…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It was fun until it froze every single time you try to build a track without enough money. This should not even be allowed on the Steam store as it is completely broken, and I will be reporting it as such.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice game, my favourite feature are the diamond mines!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →almost 40 hours during playtest, demo and release and I want more. DLC is my choice!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pretty neat puzzle game to chill and relax... until your trains explode hehe :]
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The levels are clever, and the visual style is charming. Unlocking new trains is a fun bonus, and the upcoming level editor sounds incredible! If you love trains, managing traffic, avoiding collisions, and optimizing your railway networks, you'll love this. Highly recommended!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Train Valley Origins is - like the title says - back to the roots. Finally an instalment that plays like the original Train Valley. I very much enjoyed it and after 15.7 hours and playing it through twice I got all achievements. Clear recommendation for everyone who enjoyed the first Train Valley game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Trains blow up for no reason
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a soothing little train delivery game, vaguely related to the other titles in this series, but also quite different. On the one hand, it is a very casual game, basically sending your trains to stations that match the little colored icons, and paying attention to various extra goals to be completed for each level. On the other hand, some things can definitely go wrong, in which case there are very exciting explosions to reward you, and you try again! i think my favorite parts about…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Another solid entry in the Train Valley franchise. Kind of a reboot if youre familiar with the series. Probably even worth buying not on sale if youre a fan..
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is actually very good! Chill but tight and then fulfilling! Missions are exactly right time - to open it up and finish couple of missions while preparing pasta. Runs pretty well on steam deck. Saw-saw, rub-rub, too-too!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A lovely little puzzle game! Charming visuals, relaxing music, and clever level design make Train Valley Origins a joy to play. Perfect for quick sessions or longer chill evenings. Loved it! and thank you for пилим трем
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →At first glance, it may appear to be a children's game, but once you start playing, it becomes surprisingly addicting. I'm nearly 20 years old and typically playing racist games, yet I genuinely enjoy spending time in this game. It's incredibly addictive—much like a drug: try it once, and you're hooked in that shiii
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A cool, meditative game. Though sometimes you're short on time.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Chill puzzle with trains
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game for relaxation! I like it!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A fun puzzle game with trains where you need to build the right routes and control the trains.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Their first game was the best, in 2015. Now, they just keep missing the mark, over and over again. I think I'm done with this dev.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not like a Train Valley at all. It is different, mostly chill experience.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I thought this would be more like SM Railroads, it was not. There is no automatic routing of trains no auto stopping. The purpose of the game seems to be manually routing trains and manually stopping them while doing delivers against the clock.. The game will force schedule trains if you take to long as well. I can see why some people would enjoy this, but thats not the game I was personally looking for.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The in-game cursor does not actually switch the points that the cursor is pointing to.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A nice, relaxing return to basics.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun puzzle game with trains!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →gostei muito do jogo porem comparado ao 2 este esta muito simplificado, mas como sou viciado na franquia eu relevo
