Fight your way through wave after wave of neon coloured space enemies, leveling up your score multiplayer and shields as you go. The onslaught just keeps on building with new challenges the further you progress. Your vessel instantly follows the mouse and shoots in 8 directions. The abstract shape enemies behave quite differently (some just rebound off walls, others deliberately persue the player) and you are constanly emerged in a randomized bullet-hell area you can't escape, so you beat high scores while trying to survive the carnival. And it's F2P too, so there's little excuse not to try it if you're into a little 'Asteroids'-style highscore chasing. Responsive controls; pleasant art & sound design; and easy to pick up and play for 20 minutes at a time. Any more than that and the 'Tetris effect' starts to kick in a little. Great controls ( use joystick ), decent music. The challenge can be somewhat alleviated by staying in the corners.
