negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Huge potential, lacking execution. The cleaning part is enjoyable, but the decorating part is terrible. Extremely limited decoration options make each station either feel samey, ugly or mismatched to the surroundings. The final map is by far the worst offender. There is also the issue of not being able to play again with all the tools you've earned. Either allow a replay with all the best tools, or let players earn the tools much faster. I played through the whole thing, but I can't…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The gameplay is good, however the lack of a fov higher than 70 is motion sickness inducing for me.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's like powerwash sim, but less polished, buggier, and clunkier. Oh and it's abandoned.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I didn't find this very fun. The mechanics are either clicking an object or holding the mouse button until the task is done. The UI is very barebones. The soundtrack is as generic, royalty-free feel as you can get. I'm sure the devs put a lot of time into the environments (going by the store page), but the world just isn't fun to interact with. If you're looking for a game with the barest of gameplay mechanics, then I'm sure there's plenty to explore here. But I'm not sticking around to find…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've played a lot of simulators like these, unfortunately I've come to the conclusion that this falls under the more boring of them. Its just bland, same repetition, and lacking any real style. Honestly it felt like most of the assets in the game were purchased from the Unreal store and slapped in, and a lot of the game play felt uninspired. I tried really hard to get to the end of this game as I try to be complete games I start - this one beat me. There were elements to it that I found had…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really wanted to like it as it scratched that itch of 'clean up and renovate a space.' I liked the option of either trashing or recycling to earn money, and the upgrade system is simple. A little more than halfway through completing all the stations, it just became repetitive and I got to a point where I just wanted to finish it because felt like I was invested to just complete the game. I wasn't having fun anymore. The variety of all the things never got better or increased, so that was sad.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've had a lot of fun playing this with my son. It's a good chill way for him to get used to a first person keyboard and mouse control scheme. It also helps that he loves trains. I think he would have liked to see more trains on the levels but overall there was enough interesting things to keep him and me occupied. Don't take this review as me saying this game is only for kids, I enjoy it a lot myself too. In a similar vein to House Flipper, thankfully the chores don't feel like too much of a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Controls suck. Wasn't able to play past the tutorial because the game won't let you change some keybinds, which was my problem. Besides, I tried to change and tested a lot of times, but EVERY TIME the game reseted my progress since i NEEDED to go to the main title to change the keybind config. In the end, I noticed there wasn't a option to change the keybind I needed to change and wasn't even able to pass the tutorial. Not ok and a lot of headache just to change the keybinds.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Train Station Renovation offers satisfying repetetive restoration gameplay with relaxing vibes. Rating: ★★★☆☆ (3/5)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is supposed to be Train Station Renovation, but in reality, this is Garbage Sorting and Removal Simulation. You can complete each map 100% between 20-40 minutes, and trust me, the majority of the time, you will be walking around carrying garbage. The hardest achievement is the one that requires you to sort 400 pieces of garbage in one play-through, and that defines the whole game. The renovation part of the game feels pointless. Although there are some objectives in each map…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's pretty limited in terms of renovating. The state of the levels after you complete them still end up looking pretty bad, especially the outside. Most times you'll come out unsatisfied with what you've done. It's a nice attempt, but I wouldn't recommend the renovation aspect to anyone.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's just not....fun. It's jank in the bad way. If I want to relax and clean, powerwash simulator has that nailed. If I want to be creative, I can play House Flipper. It's just really tedious to get items to be placed correctly, or to keep switching tools, or to throw anything any sort of distance, or to find that last cleanup.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I bought this because the reviews were generally positive and I liked games like PowerWash Simulator, Crime Scene Cleaner, and House Flipper. Unfortunately this game is very broken. The tools to use for each task don't make any logical sense, switching between them is slow and clunky. Items are sized differently when you replace them, so you can't actually restore a location while maintaining the original placement. The tutorial has known bugs that have never been addressed. There are…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Too many bugs. You add furnitures and decorations randomly just because. It randomly restarted my computer without even asking 2 times in 1 hour of play. Worthless game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I played this game for a while and I liked the basic mechanics of cleaning up and fixing the stations! But, there was barely any decorations or items to choose from... made it very repetitive since you couldn't really get creative at all. Also, there was an annoying bug I kept encountering where if you throw the trash or drop it near walls or by certain objects (like the trains), the trash would just get stuck there but it would still count as trash, so 100% completion became impossible.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Train Station renovation is a brain off cleaning simulation game. Pros: -Diverse levels/themes -Calming and relaxing to sort objects. -If you're into the design aspect its cool to play around with making different decor setups for different stations. Cons: -Often doesn't make full use of the diversity of tools. Majority of the gameplay cycle is just picking up trash and putting it in the designated bin. And then putting down the usual decorations/furniture. -Decoration options are somewhat…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →In deep need of bugfixing and basic features updates. Some trash may spawn into inaccessible areas. I was fixing a train cart's window from the outside, (that map where you fix that big clock and delivers it to a museum, but i guess this problem might occur in any level), and the green bag fell inside the train and under the floor, and I was unable to reach it. Map left on 99% finished. My suggestion is to have an option to respawn bags and trash, maybe respawn them into the air a couple of…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I fancied a change from House Flipper 1 and in comparison, this game is relaxing and has merits in its simplicity but it isn't a design game. You collect rubbish, clean, and install items from a limited list (benches, toilets, clocks). You must add certain items but can add more if you wish. I need to connect a mouse as the 'wheel' button opens the tool selector which is bit glitchy. My main bug bears are that you can't clean and repair everything (eg the grounds, surroundings, exteriors,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Contains defects of design or manufacturing that cause the game to terminate itself without saving data. The errors were reported at least two years ago and remain unaddressed.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I recommend Train Station Renovation for people who like games like House Flipper for it's clean up portion but NOT for people who are interested in the decorating portion. If games like Power Wash Simulator appeal to you, read on! THE GOOD STUFF: The stages are various train stations in states of disarray. You have to clean them up (remove graffiti, trash, replace windows, etc) and then add furniture and decorations to clear the stage. If you're looking for a relaxing, low stress "clean…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I bought this game after seeing all of the positive reviews, but I have no idea what they saw in this game. It feels very unfinished, and the levels take way too long to complete since you can't save and leave during them (as far as I can tell, I might be wrong). You can only carry one item at a time, so making dozens of trips to the dumpster gets old really fast. There is a scan option that tells you what around you needs to be done, which is nice, but the trash and/or broken stuff doesn't…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a fun cleaning game. Something about the combination of clean up trash, graffiti and destroying or repairing things really scratches that satisfaction itch for cleaning games. Didn't really like the actual decoration part but you can literally throw whatever items you want wherever you want as long as it meets the category restrictions so its easy to get through. The dlc is pretty girthy, adding around 8 ish levels. its just more game and thats just fine with me. The achievements…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A cozy game that I’ve finally completed after playing through it twice because I had missed an achievement. It’s a good way to pass the time, and you don’t have to be smart to play it. A game you can just switch your brain off to. Definitely recommend it!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I wanted to try this one after playing and enjoying WW2 rebuilder. This game however isn't as good at all. First, from the first couple minutes of the tutorial, you're greeted with a bug that seems common but was never fixed. So you'd think going straight to the first mission would be a good choice. Nope. The only good part is that you might be welcomed by some other glitches. At least there's some variety in that regard. I must admit that I saw this coming when I tried to re-bind some…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Overall enjoyable. I am disappointed in the lack of player placeable items. There's so many that we trash and have to recycle but you can't replace them with new or undamaged versions of itself such as mirrors. I beat the main game, and will eventually get the DLC (since achevo's are locked to it) but it is QUITE repetitive with only a few select levels introducing something new which is usually only for that level. Great potential, would love more ways to interact with the trains outside…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There now seem to be lots of renovating and cleaning games in market now. This one lets you clean up train stations. There are some trains too to clean up. But mostly just everything around train. Game simulates doing grindy work. So I suppose, it should be grind to play. It kept me cleaning in simulator for about 10 hours. So not maybe worth full price. Recommended, with reservation.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like how chill and relaxing it is. I love games like House Flipper so this really appeals to me. You clean and then place furniture all at your own pace, no rush. I almost returned the game during the tutorial because it glitched on me but I figured out it was a bug and made a new character and changed the order I did one of the tasks then it worked fine. I'm so glad I kept it because I'm really enjoying it!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →there are so many hours and days in your life, you can go to the park, ride a bike, anything! dont waste your time with this game, play like. crime scene cleaner or something
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Relaxing time-waster where you pretty much do what it says in the title- renovate train stations. The criteria for decorating is pretty lenient so you can be as creative or as boring as you like. And while the satisfaction from cleaning up the entire station is gratifying, the process to get there can be tedious when you don't have a skip nearby and end up walking halfway across an area to deposit some rubble. The game giveth and the game taketh away.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Played with my kid, at least he wants to clean up in the game. Different story in rl.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →"Playable on Steam Deck" my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ass it doesn't run in the absolute slightest. You have to use the touchscreen to create your company name/logo, and as soon as it pans out of the computer screen, nothing works. No buttons, no touchscreen. Tried alternative controller configs and that doesn't work either. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It looks like the movement is locked to 60fps, while the game is not. This makes walking jerky and could cause nausea (and capping everything to 60fps is still feels awful). Also there is a 5 years old bug repport about this issue with the devs working on it. Damn that bug must be a real deal, gotta wait a bit more i guess
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I tried to like this game. But it is just bad. Not horribly world shatteringly bad, but just __not good__. It lacks the polish that similar titles have. The mechanic with ordering containers for recycling and trash is nice. They even thought out the color coding of the bags. But overall it is a walking simulator. While in House Flipper there is something to do at every step in a house, here it feels empty. Also, there are too many tools and it is confusing which one to use on a particular…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not to shabby for a 5 year old simulator game! If your looking to purchase this one, wait for the SALE, and you will not be dissappointed. The game runs well with minor bugs(trash related), and it is on point with all other sims. Clean, Repair, Upgrade, and Repeat! positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Scratches that itch if you're in the mood for a reno sim, unfortunately its not well optimized and I put up with the stuttering and lack of graphics settings as long as I could. Wait for a sale if you must, but don't be surprised if you run into similar issues.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game was fun, only experienced a few minor bugs that didn't interrupt gameplay at all. This is definitely due to personal preference, but I found myself liking the cleaning part way more the building part. If these devs made a game that was just a waste cleaner, I'd also play that.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There aren't enough settings to be able to decrease nausea symptoms. It should be called nausea simulator because of that alone. I love simulators and play a lot of them but some can trigger motion sickness for me and view bobbing, motion blur, etc are necessary to help reduce it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →DO NOT BUY THIS GAME! Crashes are so frequent I have learned to manual save every 5-10 minutes, because there are no autosaves between starting and finishing a level (which can take up to 2 hours). The gameplay is painfully boring, beginning with all tools unlocked, and picking up the same bottles, breaking the same palettes, delivering the same barrels, and walking trash bags across the map for the entire game. Money is meaningless unless you're spamming hundreds of items per level, as you…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pretty good game, took me almost completing the map before i realized you can upgrade your tools. The game had a great tutorial and the controls are pretty good. Plus I love train facts so
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is great to play casually, if you aren't worried about 100%ing a game and just something relaxing to take some stress away this is perfect. From a standpoint of a completionist this game is not that enjoyable, with the amount of bugs I came across while I had 100%ed this game. It almost felt more like a dreadful 9-5 at the hate corporation more than fun, one of the big bugs I came across was the game deciding to never fully load in if I dare ever tab out and put on music or open…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really fun! Atleast 15 hours guaranteed. A really good game when you are bored. im looking forward to buy the germany dlc. the price is slightly too high, so wait for an sale. Recommended!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Terrible "game" with just about the worst UI I've seen in years. The performance is also atrocious, despite looking like a PS2 game, stuttering and frame rate all over the place with a 4080. It took a trip to google to find out how to start the game after the tutorial. That's how intuitive it is. If I hadn't got this from Humble monthly, I would have 100% refunded this.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A mostly enjoyable game, excepting some bugs. Warning, achievement hunters: make sure your 100% is on the same save file.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →To be clear I did join in the dunking because the two games I played today are Subnautica - a game about surviving following a crash on an alien planet and curing and inferctious disease - and Train Station Renovation - a game about restoring trainstation that are run down. Truly violent fantasies.
unlabelledView post →Full of bugs, controls won’t work. What a shame because I’ve played the game on other platforms and it’s really fun
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I wanted a game I can play in the background whilst watching shows/movies and still enjoy both. It didn't fail me, I was impressed with how easy it was to pick up and it's quite enjoyable with tool upgrades and table upgrades. Can recommend, especially for five dollars!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Train Station Renovation If you're like me and enjoy spending hours cleaning up settlements in Fallout 4, then this is the game for you.
unlabelledView post →Train Station Renovation seems like a pretty good game. So much cleaning involved. I'm rating this game a 10/10 I highly recommend this game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Another 'busy work' / Dad game. If you have played Viscera Cleanup Detail or similar games then you know what to expect here and how you are going to get your dopamine kicks. The graphics are not the best but this is a game that is not going to occupy 100% of your attention anyway, its best played with a video playing on the second monitor or whilst listening to a podcast. Whilst the base game is enjoyable and can be picked up cheap, be aware that the DLC is fairly expensive and rarely goes…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →In a lot of ways it's House Flipper but with Train Stations. Repair Stuff, Buy Benches, Clocks and what have you then place them around the station to furnish it so it looks nice. Or get bored and spam 12 benches in one tiny area of the platform like I did - the result's the same either way as far as level completion goes. Is it 100% completable ? Yes, but you'll also have to buy the Buggy Germany DLC to do that, which is quite annoying. If you have a Hercule Poirot "Order and…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →game crashed, progress not saved, unacceptable
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Train stations are nice...I guess
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this game is pretty fun. i enjoy the cleaning aspect. not so much the building aspect. there aren't many building options. it's similar to house flipper but if your tablet could only source decor from your local Goodwill. but that's okay because i mainly like to just clean. pick up trash? you got it. clean the weird graffiti off the walls? i'm your guy. bust up some old pallets with an axe? count me in. definitely would only recommend to people who enjoy cleaning. like me. i like to clean.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game was gifted to me by a friend who very kindly understood that I have a fondness for train related games. He meant well, however, this can barely be called a game. It is of the "simulation" ilk but manages to miss the mark on almost every single point that makes that genre appealing. I will give this game one positive point. The model railway in the hub area is a nice touch and if I had even the slightest desire to continue after the weird tutorial then I probably would dedicate quite a…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Train Station Renovation is a first-person restoration simulator built around the simple pleasure of turning neglected railway properties into clean, functional, and attractive locations. Developed by Live Motion Games and published by Live Motion Games, Frozen Way, PlayWay S.A., and Frozen District, it avoids the complicated logistics normally associated with railway games. Instead of controlling trains or building transportation networks, you spend your time cleaning abandoned stations,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very repetitive after the first couple of stations. An Average game of find the items with zero story. Short Soundtrack means you hear the same songs a few times in the same map. I gave up after upgrading all the tools which has little effect other than increase speed.
