positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you want to buy Ubisoft games please consider a sale and give them as little money as possible or non at all. Ubisoft has repeatedly demonstrated an anti-consumer attitude. The company permanently revoked access to The Crew, leaving paying customers unable to play a game they purchased after its servers were shut down. Ubisoft has defended its position in court against Stop Killing Games and argued that players are purchasing a service, not something that lasts indefinitely. Until Ubisoft…

There is a exe in the game files called (Run me) this updates the game to work on at least my system Ryzen 5 5600x AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT 16 Gig. Right click on the game in steam and go to manage then browse local files binaries and it should be in there hopefully that helps.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This series would be such a fantastic candidate for a remake. No need to add anything just update the graphics
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Christmas Eve and this game for Xbox 360 was just 100%
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Probably should update the info to reflect that it actually isnt multiplayer anymore. Ubisoft closed all of its servers in 2021. so no, it isnt coop, it isnt mulitplayer, you can only play the offline options for this game at this point.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →unfortunately there is no out of the box coop/multiplayer support because ubisoft won't support games that dont suck
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →good fun and NO ubisoft connect needed

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I played this a lot on the Xbox 360, back in the day. A bit clunky, but a lot of fun, and the multiplayer (when it was active) was great fun. It's from that great era of Ubisoft actually when they crafted entertaining games.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I wish they'd make shooters like this now of days. Where your not the second coming of Jesus Mowing down 500 guys as you run through a room. This one makes you more slowly approach and methodically take out enemies as you make your way through a really cool setting. Story is really non-existent, but the gameplay and setting carry it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →When I got this assignment I was hoping there would be more gambling.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Hey kiddo, Handsome Jack here... and I just played Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas, and apparently somebody decided that the best way to solve a terrorist crisis was to send a handful of heavily armed professionals into Las Vegas and let them ruin everyone's evening. Honestly? Excellent security policy. You're part of Rainbow, you're dropped into Vegas, and suddenly the city is crawling with terrorists. Your job is to clear rooms, rescue hostages, breach doors, give orders, and generally…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a classic game but this steam release may cause damage to your ears if you use a headset. There are some very sudden and loud audio distortions during combat and dialogue that left my ears ringing. This kept happening shortly after entering the casino, had to uninstall at that point.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I own this on CD but decided to re-buy it on Steam as the game is that good. I thought when I revisited this game after almost 20 years that the nostalgia would be strong and the game would feel super outdated and not be as good as I remember. False! This game is just so damn good, and above all, really really FUN. The campaign feels very long, lots of variety, awesome music, great locations, and memorable experiences. If there is any game that deserves a remake, this is it in my opinion. They…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →finished but hard
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a little clunky and mediocre, but at least you don't have to sign into Uplay to enjoy it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its old, has an audio issue that happens with radio chatter but seemed to run fine. Story is cheesy, but the setting makes up for it. I generally have preferred the first Rainbow Six Vegas over the 2nd one.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ubisoft should introduce offline character customization, since there aren't any servers anymore (only an online "LAN" weekend community.) RIP R6Vegas. I cleared all of the maps on Realistic T-hunt after the campaign, something I could never do on Xbox 360. So much nostalgia.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its short and is fun most of the times. Weapon animations look great, and the tactical gameplay is unique and is enjoyable. Sadly sometimes i get one-hitted and i have no idea why, although i'm playing on normal difficulty. This is just so weird. Playing a section for 5-10 minutes slowly only to get insta-hitted from an enemy who is silently waited behind a corner is frustrating. Also the german voice acting in this game is busted as hell. Whenever my squadmates get shot, they keep moaning…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Vegas represents a significant shift toward a more cinematic and accessible style of tactical shooting without completely abandoning the careful planning and teamwork that define the series. Developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft, the game places an elite counterterrorism unit in the middle of a devastating attack on Las Vegas. The colorful casinos, neon-covered streets, hotels, entertainment venues, and densely constructed interiors provide an unusual…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Although the sequel is better, this was a fun FPS challenge when Ubisoft was at its Prime
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →the anti-call of duty, this game will force u to think like an actual marine since its difficulty requires u to actually think on how to beat the enemy, basically splinter cell's brother, the game kills u in only a few hits even on normal diffculty but so also does all the enemies in the game. One of the best games ever made by ubisoft in their prime P.S. the enemies always see u first even on the tiniest hole, you can shoot and kill the enemy avoid moving when shooting, the bullet spread…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This one's quite good. R6 Vegas nails the suffocating tension of close-quarters tactical combat. Sound design is top notch, and those moments of silence between firefights help to ramp up things and create some pretty immersive shootouts. The campaign's good and all, but where the game truly shines is in the Terrorist Hunt missions imo. I think I might've tried every loadout combo and played through every scenario more than once, it's just that good. The enemy AI might not be the best,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →it good, shoot guys and not shoot guys, ak-47 + 6X scope is good, very hard, very good, i like
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its hard but if you push through the ugly first level. Its the best singleplayer shooter campaign i ever played in my whole entire life. Better than spec ops the line better than bf3 singleplayer better than any singleplayer call of duty campaign ive ever played. This is mature. The levels are actually open world hybrid believe it or not. MASSIVE. I am actually more impressed with rainbow six vegas1's map design. Than the ENTIRE mall of dead rising. WHich is insane to say.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A strong tactical shooter with great pacing and classic map design. Still holds up surprisingly well.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Still the best shooter in its class, simple, arcadey tactical fun. Ppl complaining are a bunch of zoomers who want to play as a character with purple hair.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Back when tactical shooters meant using a snake cam instead of wall hacking through your monitor. The Iconic casino setting, flashbanging a blackjack table and clearing a roulette room with a silenced MP5 and most importantly coop. Actually fun coop.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this is one of those games thats one leg firmly in console trash territory while dragging the decorated corpse of rainbow behind it. points for not being afraid to do stupid third person cover mechanics trying to be 2004 as hard as possible, seriously kudos. it sucked then and maybe its aged kind of ok because its an abandoned mechanic. honestly I mostly forgot to use it except to try and cheese to brutal difficulty. to which my next set of points go to. no compromise 1-2 shots and you are…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ubisoft servers shut down the New Vegas 1 & 2 so Co-Op is not functional. You might get past it with Hamachi. I use to play this game hourly with my friend, playing on realistic and challenging ourselves with challenges that seem stupid and ridiculous. If this was Co-Op still I be on with my friend, but were currently on Division 2. Wish this game kept the feature but overall the game is fun. 9/10.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Rainbow Six Vegas held up very well for me. I'm a bit of a sucker for more tactical gameplay and cover-shooters, so this surely clicked for me. Story is ... there, graphics are 20yo at this point still holding up well, but the gameplay is spot on. Planning ahead and coordinating team mates is necessary, especially on higher difficulties - and very rewarding. Sometimes the AI is a bit underwhelming and a handful of difficulty-spikes kicked my ass. But visiting Vegas is still well worth a visit,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Probably one of the most stressful game i've played. It was punishing if you messed up. The whole gameplay was good tho, i had fun in some parts. Its very tactical and need a resource management skill. Gunplay takes a lot of skill. And you always accompanied with 2 other teammate, and they're actually good, and not just become enemies dummy training. I really like the atmosphere in some places. The end game is where it gets me so stressed, and an unsatisified ending too just to add more damage.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Rainbow Six: Vegas is a single player only (multiplayer has been shutdown) game with a ~6 hour campaign in various locations in Vegas. You are able to customize your equipment loadout and have a team to give tactical orders to. The maps are varied which allow you to approach sections differently, but the game is very unforgiving (even on normal) and is quite frustrating at times when you have to constantly reload checkpoints.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I played this game all the way through only three years ago and I cannot remember a single thing about it
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is such a headache to try and play honestly. When the game decides to function it is pretty fun to play. Sure the story is pretty cheesy, but its not too bad. However my issue with this game is that its save system/checkpoint system just decides to randomly break often. Had one bug where I couldnt ever get past the first checkpoint in the game, because I could be like 2 levels in and die, and just keep checkpoint reverting back to the very first checkpoint in the game. Then after…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →“Go, go, go.” Again, a generous score only because half the game is super fun running around casinos or Vegas streets fighting terrorists. Half baked plot though. And RIDICULOUSLY hard, my goodness. Still… would barely recommend. 🌕🌕🌗🌑🌑
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →lots of fun for an old game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I think I'm bouncing off of this one, something about the level design and the way you control your AI teammates doesn't feel very satisfying. If I lean into playing it like a tactical shooter the only real tactic is send my allies in first and shoot at whoever shoots them, and if I try to play it more like a traditional shooter there is always someone tucked behind the farthest corner waiting to punish that style of gameplay. I am playing on realistic so that is definitely a factor, but when I…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Classic Golden Age UbiSoft!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Amazing environments to shoot your way through in both the campaign and terrorist hunt (there are few really cool maps only in this mode), and fun squad mechanics. I will definitely play this one again someday. The deagle + riot shield load out actually lets you play like John Rambo
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Played this on Xbox 360 back in the day. This game pretty much got me into the R6 series. It is a tactical FPS game with third person while in cover. You get to command two other AI teammates throughout the levels. The weapons and loadouts are somewhat customizable too. Also, the soundtrack was good as well.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →very good game i like the team mechanics and theres a good weapon selection.very strategic based
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A classic in the tactical shooter genre was a nice trip down memory lane.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I absolutely LOVE this game on Xbox 360 and I still play it pretty regularly on there, but I can't honestly recommend the PC version unless you have some kind of nostalgic attachment to it and/or REALLY want to explore the (very sparse) selection of mods for the game. It runs like absolute crap on modern hardware. Have fun trying to run any other programs at the same time (I have 32 GB of RAM but trying to watch a youtube vid on my second screen brought my framerate below single digits).…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If youre looking for a simple shooter with squadmates à la Republic Commando, this game could be right up your alley. If you are looking for a tactical RB6 game like RavenShield or those before, this here isn't it. The main issues are that you go from one shooting gallery to the next with enemies spawning en masse behind weird corners, coming out of dead-end rooms and then swarming you while you play it like a cover shooter. The tactical options with your squad are very minimal and on top of…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game looks like ass, but man i enjoyed it very much. I liked combination of tactical and arcadey shooting a lot.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Any time i close the game and start it back up it delets my save file and i dont know how to fix it
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →reminds me SWAT 4, peak game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Better than siege.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →an absolute classic, one of the best games of its era, so worth a trip down memory lane.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is an old game. The graphics are a bit dated, but the gameplay is intense, and once the basics have been learned, it's a blast.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very good game when it works correctly Had glitches, bugs, which i had to restart the checkpoint. Enemies one shotting me, and bullets going through the wall The story is okay. The last mission i couldnt finish due to the turret wont even aim. This game is due for a remaster I wouldnt recommend this with this bug 5/10
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's fun and I enjoy it, it feels similar to those foot pedal arcade shooters I played in the arcade as a kid. My only complaint is that there are a lot of command buttons and they aren't designed very user friendly.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Rainbow Six: Vegas is a classic, tactical fps/tps hybrid which has you and your interestingly diverse squad defending Las Vegas, Nevada from a terrorist organization, using squad tactics and mechanics such as constantly utilizing cover, breaching doors, using snake cams, ordering your squad mates, and more. Pros: + Basically mandatory tactical gameplay/combat + Gunplay is solid and aged well + Good writing + Some humor sprinkled around + AI is decent and not completely scripted + Does not…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →im sorry about marcelo
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ugh... its like a shooter on rails only you can't look through your scope or run or stand up? I remember these games being better on xbox, but this is horrible. I can't play for more than a few minutes and then I hate it. Anything else is better. This has not aged well at all.
