positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I remember playing RSV2 well over 15 years ago back on PS3, and having a blast. It's one of those games that would frequently re-enter my memory as the years went by, as I recalled how good it was - especially when reminiscing about it with others. That said, it was one of the earliest somewhat "realistic" and remotely hardcore experiences I think I may have ever played. I'd loved the campaign, and even finished it on the hardest difficulty... but the widely-loved Terrorist Hunt game mode had…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Single greatest game ever made. If you dont agree message me and ill tell you where im going to store my foot.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Too old and unpopular for Ubisoft to comeback and ruin.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Hey kiddo, Handsome Jack here... and I just played Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas 2, and apparently somebody looked at the first game and thought, “This is good, but we could put even MORE terrorists in Las Vegas.” Excellent. You know what I like about Vegas 2? It understands that a good employee doesn't just run into a room screaming and hoping for the best. You actually have to think. Breach the door, check the room, give your team orders, pick your targets, use cover, and then turn the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →RIP my Holy beloved rainbow6 vegas 2 online mode
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Give us Vegas 3
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Despite its outdated graphics and controls, it's somehow significantly better than R6 Siege both in terms of fun and quality.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bring back online support! I have to use a crappy virtual LAN to play this with my buddy. Game is awesome, old as crap, so it has many bugs (infinite machine gun glitch) and the dudes shoot you through walls sometimes, but I have beaten the crap outta the coop terrorist hunts! -Rating: 7.5/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really wish there were more games like this, a sort of blend of the tactical and arcadey elements of shooters. Obviously this game leans more tactical but it's just so replayable (terrorist hunt specifically)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wild that Ubisoft has some new anti cheat for this game that will not work with Linux, considering the fact that they shut down their multiplayer services for siege. I cannot play a game I own and have played on this machine anymore because of this new anti cheat. Again, I want to specifiy, that this anti cheat is to prevent people from cheating in multiplayer, WHICH HAS BEEN DISABLED SO THEY CAN SPEND MONEY ON R6 Siege.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A masterpiece that I experienced late. I hope to see a remake of this title one day.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have become comfortable with not owning Ubisoft games.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Playable with friends via Radmin. Using Radmin will allow you to Host/Join via false LAN. To fix the infinite shooting bug, the HOST needs to change their monitor's refresh rate down to 59.95 hz or 60. Basically, it shouldn't go above 60 hz. This bug drove my friends crazy until I happened to randomly stumble upon that suggestion somewhere. I'm also not sure if it helps, but downloading a specific ReShade pack (you can find the exact one in the forums here) could also help? It lessened the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good game overall with challenging squad based combat. Servers are down so co-op does require a 3rd party product to LAN with a friend. No controller support is a bit of a bumber as well.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →They don't make games like these anymore, the essence of late 2000s - early 2010s shooters still has a place in my heart. Better than Siege, and always will be. The actual last good Rainbow Six game I ever know for real.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →BEST of the BEST - this game beats all shooters. The game is old so I had to setup my xbox one controller manually. Below are the instructions for setting up your Xbox One controller to use the game's native controller support on PC. This gives you the same controller feel as playing on the Xbox console. I have over 1,000 hours in the game, and this setup feels perfect! See below for the setup instructions. CONTROLLER SETUP - find this file and open it: C:\Program Files…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I loved this game when I originally played in on the Xbox 360. Unfortunately, there are too many bugs with this port on a modern rig. Crashing, audio issues, HUD issues, etc. It is a shame Ubisoft does not actually maintain their back catalog.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →the last time rainbow six was good
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →dress to impress for men with a badasss tactical gameplay
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Rainbow Six Vegas 2 – 8/10 – A Tactical Shooter That Still Holds Up Rainbow Six Vegas 2 is a game that evokes nostalgia for fans of tactical shooters, and for good reason. Released in 2008, this sequel to Rainbow Six Vegas delivers an experience that blends intense, strategic gunplay with memorable maps and gripping storylines. While the game has aged a bit in terms of visuals and technical features, it remains a standout in the tactical shooter genre and a title that fans still fondly…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Short, but a good time nonetheless. Personally find this game to be more enjoyable than Vegas 1.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Buy this game, you will not regret it. I've been coming back to this game for 18 years! Play Terrorist hunt, it loads quick, for a fast blast.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →my favorite FPS of all time!! replaying it in 2026.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →one of the best Tom Clancy games there is.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Runs great on Steam Deck with quick Proton change. This game is responsible for so many hours of co-op fun growing up. The terrorist hunt game mode and the progression system are the best parts of this game for me.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Needs a remastered
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is the Tom Clancy's I wish they would of continued refining instead of making siege.(I heard Patriots got canceled for hitting to close to home) One of the greatest team based tactical shooters. Ahead of its time and a good change of pace from cod everyone was obsessed with at the time. Smoke Out!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There will never be another Rainbow Six like this one.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →brings back memories. Playing this game again so many years later reminds me how ahead of the curve Tom Clancy Games were. This game is still awesome and works great on non gamer laptops with ease.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This was the very first video game I had ever played it brings back so many memories that I had playing this so long ago
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ubisoft was still ok at the time of release :D
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The mechanics of this game are amazing the graphics are surprisingly good for its time i love the cover mechanics when you take cover you can blind fire the gameplay is perfect for its time my only one critique is the movement is blocky. wish they would remaster this and make the movement better and put the server back up
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm frustrated with the devs I never bought that crap game of theirs ( siege) . Vegas is easily 1,000 times better—I had over 15,000 hours in Vegas 2 back in the day. A remaster with improvements and additions is a guaranteed win!.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I played this a lot on the Xbox 360, back in the day. A bit clunky, but a lot of fun, and the multiplayer (when it was active) was great fun. It's from that great era of Ubisoft actually when they crafted entertaining games. I don't think it's as good as Vegas 1, but it did have a lot of good gameplay mechanics, I just think the story is not as tight as Vegas 1.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →using radmin VPN to play online in 2026
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is the greatest shooter of all time no kizzy
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Saw that this was on sale, and mostly played it as a kid back on my Xbox 360, so I got it just to get a feel for how this game was today as of back then, all these years later. Did some T-hunt runs mostly, but THEN i remembered just how hard this game was and how it encouraged alot of careful execution in Lone wolf mode after my first slap to the face with the NPC behaviors coming back into it. Overall, i wanted to try out some versus, and saw that the multiplayer wasn't working... Did some…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →terrorist hunt is the best. countless hilarious voice lines give it endless re-playability.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Would be a waste of money not to get this game, Still holds up as one of the best shooters today for me personally. AI companions can get in the way sometimes but that's so minor compared to the overall experience.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The online does not work anymore. it doesnt feel as good as it did on the PS3
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →OUUHHH!! *PLAP PLAP PLAPL* OUHHH!!!! IM TOM'ING MY CLANCY!!!! IM' GONNA RAINBOW SIX!!! ITS SO VEGAS !!! OUHHH *GLORP*
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this has been a great old time squad based singleplayer game, a game i would play as long as i can
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game has some good moments, but overall it's hampered by frustrating early 2000s gaming trends that really didn't age well. In a departure from the classic tactical game play that the series essentially created, Vegas 2 is more of a mashup of COD and Gears of War mechanics with a quick TTK: Regenerating health, waves of enemies that spawn in (sometimes just appearing right in front of you), forced 3rd person cover mechanics, follow the waypoint marker progression, and scripted action set…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Rainbow Six Vegas 2 was a great game for its time spent 100’s of hours playing on the Xbox360. But replaying it today the controls sure were in that middle period of gaming, with clucky controls (though better than the original RS:V) and a wonky cover system that works only half the time. Especially in hard difficulty or in multiplayer where the enemy’s just shoot though the cover making in pointless. The AI was also acceptable for the time as they don’t really flank or use cover very well but…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A great classic. Love T-hunt
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →“Stack up” A vast improvement from the first game. Better visuals. Better lighting. Sprint button. Customize your character. Story flows so much better between level designs. Teammate AI is better. Casual mode feels more casual. Voice acting seems the same. Music seems the same. Biggest problem is there isn’t enough casino maps to fulfill my need, but it is such a better game than the original. Steam deck is supported but broken. It’s still playable however. 🌕🌕🌕🌗🌑
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Okay to play on PC, but best to go back and play the xbox 360 version which still supports online.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I played this on the 360 and it is still as peak as it was.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A glimpse into what Siege PVE could have been had it continued on this trajectory.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An excellent rainbow six game experience for solo and probably coop has well(Never tried in coop but must be cool with a friend)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love this game, i used to play this with my brother on the xbox360 but its pretty rough without mods ofc... character models are very buggy.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Maybe I just have rose tinted glasses but I remember this game being better as a kid. The glitchy sound is probably a result of it trying to run on a modern system but the busted ai that always know exactly where you are, even if they never actually see you or even if you enter a new area is an issue. That combined with the cheap enemy spawns that can kill you simply because you never get a chance to get back into cover after reaching an objective or reach a certain part of the level make this…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The pc port of this game is nearly unplayable without mods. I also for the life of me CANNOT get the controller support to work, no matter how many fixes I try. The FOV is attrocious, and walking up stairs causes a weird speed boost. I cannot recommend this port, if you have the chance to play this on original console hardware please do.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i love this game but the difficulty is so hard even on casual bruh but overall a great sequel i really recommend playing this game with your friend
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 is a single player only (multiplayer has been shutdown) sequel with a ~4.5 hour campaign in various locations in Vegas and some other newer locations. The game is pretty much the same as the original with some upgrades/changes. If you enjoyed the first game then you will enjoy this one as well since it continues the story line from the first game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It has a couple of bugs but games aged like fine wine both 1 and 2. Needs a remaster. Story is 10/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Awful PC port, barely runs
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a good game, a cult classic. However I can't find any solution to why my game's performance gets so low randomly, it goes from 60FPS to even 12 and 8 during some areas.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Still the best tactical shooter ever made
