60 of 190 · most liked firstReview by [url=https://store.steampowered.com/curator/34633003-Gaming-Masterpieces/lists/] Gaming Masterpieces - The greatest games of all time on Steam. Is this game a masterpiece? No, but it is fine for what it is. A little remote controlled vehicle with a grabbing arm is put into a microwave-sized time-machine and transfered back in the year 1995. Your goal now is to destroy a toy, before an accident can happen. Of course, manipulating the past leads to other unexpected changes... So…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game behaves perfectly even on old PC. the graphics are at the highest level, very interesting game mechanics. Time in the game passes quickly! I am generally silent about the implementation of ideas, in one word "perfect"
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not much of a puzzle game since you're just looking for obvious blue highlighted squares to interact with everywhere. More of a physics based adventure game. Even as a platformer there was nothing remotely challenging. Would be nice if the puzzles were less obvious, but that wouldn't have really worked unless they allowed you to interact with everything. Animations/design/story are nice. If I could have travelled back in time, I would have told myself to save my money. Decent game overall,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A game of two halves. The first half is nice. The end of act 3 has awful controls which make it an absolute chore. I'd have liked to play through a few times to get different endings, but after that final bit of act 3, there is no ****ing way. I am pleased I got this in a fanatical bundle for a couple of quid and not for full price. Don't bother
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was under the impression that this was going to be a puzzle game akin to Braid, with interesting time travel shenanigans. Boy, was I wrong! Even though I got 29/29 achievements, it didn't take me more than a single playthrough plus a few changes in "story choices" in a handful of chapters. All in all, I finished the game in about 2,5 hours by taking my time to look around for secrets. The story is hilariously dark at times, painting a very bleak picture about the main character, even…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I picked this up at a low price of $1.19 or so, so why the negative? Because there are genuinely confusing design choices here that made me realize I wasn't enjoying this. I only saw it through to say I had finished it, and stopped myself from going for 100% after realizing that hard-stop, I didn't care. This is a physics-based platformer that outright struggles with making the physics necessary to gameplay. There's a couple of clever little puzzles here, but this does not a whole game make.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was so tempted to give this a positive rating. It was a great little game for the first two acts. Sadly, the third act introduces the harpoon mechanic, which is hot garbage, and also the entirety of the gameplay from that point on. It is so imprecise that there are constant misfires, leading to very repetitive gameplay that drags on. Especially towards the end, where each miss is death screen with the cat you just saved, followed by a reload. By the second cat chase, this went from a game I…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →My initial impressions of the game were neutral, leaning towards positive. The game wasn't nearly as interesting as the store description, but considering I paid less than $2 for it, I figured it was a harmless use of a few hours. "A serviceable palette cleanser in between better games," I would have said. But then I reached the final 30 seconds of gameplay, which: is a chase sequence. relies on the cooperation of the game's physics. is impossible to complete if using a gamepad. for me, had a…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →it's a nice game, a bit short, but what really was pissing me off is when you use the grapling hook trying to escape the cat, using a controller is really frustrating, there is no aid trajectory and somehow the range is shorter than when you use the grapling hook with the mouse. i think it's some kind of bug. it took me almost 40 minutes to just escape from the cat in the treehouse at the end of the game... until i used the mouse instead of the controller, and figured out it was much easier and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was on the fence about my review until I reached the last section of the game. Using a Steam controller I found the Harpoon way too difficult to control. In some videos I've seen it show a guideline of where it's facing, but I didn't have one and repeatedly missed jumps despite having it right near the target. I had my fingers crossed that the game wouldn't make you use it repeatedly on do-or-die jumps ... and then that's exactly what it does at the end. You have to make several jumps with it…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game, with great graphics and sound track. Interesting story. So why bad review? I enjoyed it up to "the cat qt event" for me its not possible to do. I tried it for almost 1h and I managed to get to the 2'nd platform (devs would know what I'm talking about). I can make to the platform like 1 out of 20 jumps. I wanted a game that is about solving puzzles with occasional platform elements, I was not expecting an unbeatable (at least for me) QT event. After 3h I managed to finally beat the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A good game ruined by abysmal throwing mechanics and physics.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →a physics heavy game with an AWFUL physics engine. things arent consistent at all and even events you have no control over sometimes dont work out properly because the physics is so inconsistent. cannot recommend this game unless you are EXTREMELY patient, otherwise its just a rage game
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This strikes me as too much of a "kids" game. The puzzles are really easy and the story is basic and superficial. Not to mention, the game moves too slowly for my liking. In short, not for any serious puzzle game fans. (Well, at least there are some fun secrets to find)
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wasted Opportunity Choices don't matter. For a game with time travel story you'd expect some consequences. Different outcomes. Shocking endings. Sadly, this is not the case with Time Loader. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2707367203 3 in 1 You will play Time Loader three times. Each one is your travel back to the past/present with insignificant changes. First, you do A-actions, then B-actions, only to... undo those A-actions. So much for the effort. It's all about…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a puzzle-platformer that is slower paced platforming as a wheeled robot, which has its purpose in providing time to take in the environment and supporting the voice dialog of the robot, but this is not for everyone. What kept me going for at least an extra half an hour beyond that pacing realization is the game's relatively unique and somewhat intriguing story. Unfortunately, I discovered that most of the story before the final act can be summed up in less than 1 minute by watching the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was quite enjoying the, admittedly rather simple, puzzles and the physics platforming of this game and then it was over. It told me I had one ending at 60% and I could get different endings by replaying the (three) chapters to change some events, the problem is that you have to play the whole chapter again, from scratch, including the tutorial if you go for the first chapter. No thanks, I just did all that. If it allowed a more focused replay, say of the relevant parts of the chapters that…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The "puzzles" were already too easy and the game had a voice over telling you every single thing you had to do- the movement with the arm was very restricting, and the other reviews say the second half of the game sucks. No thanks.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You are an early model Terminator, sent back in time to assassinate a toy car.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Time Loader, developed by Flazm and published by META Publishing, offers a distinctive blend of puzzle-platforming and narrative-driven gameplay, wrapped in a nostalgic 1990s setting. At its core, the game tells the story of a small time-traveling robot who embarks on a mission to prevent a childhood accident by revisiting and altering moments in the past. This unique premise provides a compelling emotional anchor that drives the exploration and puzzle-solving mechanics throughout the game.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's cute, the visuals are really nice, but the gameplay is just barely okay. I've gotten stuck quite quickly (the starchy water). I know what I need to do, but after 10 tries I'm just annoyed. It's gotten quite boring as well
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Short but sweet. Gameplay is basic, but it's an enjoyable, interactive short story.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was really excited to play this but it turned out to be trash. Story wasn't good, physics weren't good and the controls were absolute garbage. There were very few sequences that actually felt fun, most of the time it ranged between being a boring slog at best to being a frustrating battle against the bad [level design / physics / bugs] at worst. As the game progressed I was introduced to more and more bugs (and a straight up crash one time), some bricked me from doing certain things which…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The first 80% of this game is great, it really is. The graphics are nice, the environmental puzzles are fun but not too hard, there's a compelling story. And then once the grappling hook is introduced, it gets awful. It shifts from a puzzle platformer to a precision platformer, except it's not precise. On gamepad you have to use the right control stick to aim the grappling hook, except you can't see where you're aiming. This makes it impossible to complete with a gamepad in the very last…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game was a unique experience that felt like the game version of the Brick Experiment Channel on YouTube. It made me feel things that I never thought I could feel from a game... I caused so much destruction that is irreparable and traumatizing. You should think about buying it only if it was on sale since it only took 2 hours to complete. Also the controls are a little janke which can be very annoying at best... Some viewers during the stream even said: "Ahh" "Bugsssss" and ""Put it in…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What a fantastic little game kept me interested which BTW is hard to do,and I loved the sounds of the wheels on the objects.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Short adventure puzzle game with some replay ability. This is a good example of a game not overdoing things. There are three possible endings, with a secret ending, but you have a chapter selection. There are different mechanics and none are used too much or too little. Especially, the environments are made well to excuse the use of said mechanics. I never felt like I was playing some rube goldberg. The story is exact, no weird social commentary, purely contained withing the story the game…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Is it a cute little game? Yes. Will you miss anything worthwhile by skipping it entirely? Absolutely not.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I haven't enjoyed it as much as I thought from the trailers since it's more of a 'more developed than average walking sim' rather than a proper platformer or puzzle game. However, the level design is good and the game is really polished, so I don't feel like leaving a bad review and hurting the devs, I'd rather not take from them the chance to get to do another game. Devs, if you want a piece of advice, focus more on a mechanic or genre. You've got the talent to do a cool game by far, but…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wonderful game! + Excellent graphic. Each frame seems like wallpaper. + Ingenious stages. Friendly mechanism to amend previous decisions. - Short. Relatively price is not so encouraging (and I purchased it in a bundle). +- Handling. I got skilled after 5 to 6 hours, maybe too late considering the total duration of content. p.s. +++ Cat is CUTE!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Calling this a puzzle platformer is a bit of a stretch. The objectives are borderline obvious and you just need to execute the physics based jumps. Also the premise was kind of odd/offputting/depressing. Didn't bother finishing.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The controls are horrible. I used a gamepad. It works fine in the beginning, but with more upgrades the movement kit the player is required to perform becomes more complex. In the finale the encounter with the cat who is trying to destroy the robot. What you are supposed to do is not difficult to figure out but performing it is. several fruitless tries later the player is forced to realize it's impossible with the gamepad and switch to keyboard/mouse instead. Keyboard+mouse has a weird…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bit of a palate cleanser on the Timestream this week as I decide on the next extended game to play. So join me today as we look at Time Loader, a physics-engine puzzle platformer where we control a robot sent back to the 1990s to prevent a disaster! 4pm GMT || twitch.tv/chronomagistrate
unlabelledView post →Time Loader is not what it seems! Advertised as a story with puzzles and "cute aesthetics". It is actually very morbid and depressing and needs a warning label on the genres. The only hint is a "tragic accident" but if you pass through the intro trailer you would never guess. Three things i don't like, children in bad situations, cats portrayed as evil unironically, and unhealthy attachments to what a perfect life would look like placed on a pedestal. And I think the house burns down but I'm…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →10/10. This is one of the best games i did!! i really loved being the little robot and exploring and solving the puzzles for the areas. This one requires multiple playthroughs to get the different endings so if you are also going for the 100% achievements i recommend paying attention to that.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The main reason I really liked this game is cause E=p22m+U(x,t), where p is the momentum, m is the mass, and U is the potential energy of the particle. The wave equation that goes with it turns out to be a key equation in quantum mechanics. So while the tiny yellow crane toy goes back in time by (x)+V(x)Ψ=EΨ OR (ℏ)=2mℏ2m+2M-k where ℏ is the reduced Planck's constant, m is the particle mass, x represents distance measured in the direction of motion of the particle. The constant equation…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →(Played on Steam Deck OLED) A nice easy four hour game for the weekend. I'm a sucker for games that put me in familiar setting but as a small character. The puzzles are not too complicated and each area is pretty linear with zero to minimal exploring. The room design ranges from pleasing artstyle to sometimes what looks like untextured polygons.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →is you expected a fun interactive and innovated start to the game, well be disappointed. no physics/puzzle/adventure game should be that lack luster at the start of the game. grabbing things was extremely simple and just plain boring. no full control over the arm. aiming and throwing things was just the same old ♥♥♥♥ plus the trajectory line hasnt been accurately put in to be in line with the trajectory of the object being thrown. like theres so much they could of done with this game and you…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is one of those games that is just long enough and complex enough for a satisfying completion in a few hours. The story is engaging and thought provoking. My only critique is about the multiple endings. There are 4 different endings to the story, which itself is super cool, but the connection between your choices and the various endings is so tenuous that you probably won't understand why you got the ending you got. On top of that, while the gameplay is good enough for 3hrs, it definitely…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I don't have a lot to say about Time Loader other than it's such a pleasant puzzle game. There is a lot more heart and story here than I was expecting, which was a nice surprise. I think my only complaint is that the coolest mechanic is introduced way too late in the game (spoiler: it's a grappling hook), I would have loved to see more puzzles around it. It might be worth mentioning that I played this exclusively on the Steam Deck, which was a perfect fit. If you're looking for a short…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So while most of the game is fun, near the end you get a "harpoon gun", which I would call a grappling gun, and it seems to be completely unusable when using a controller. It gives you no aiming guide unlike when using the mouse and seems to launch you nowhere near as far for some reason. Either way, the last section is very inconsistent, unlike the entire rest of the game, due to a switch from carefully designed puzzles to relying heavily on momentum and the slightly janky physics engine…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →TLDR: an OK platforming/exploration adventure. Controls could be improved. Great sound. 6 hours to complete. Details: for a platforming game, the main focus is the interaction with the environment. To achieve this, you will feel you are actually controlling a toy: not too precise, as physics become a little hectic specially in the few sections when you need momentum and timing. The story is good. I won't spoil anything. I used headphones and loved how the sound was accurate for every surface…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is too simple. There's almost nothing to figure out. You get new tools, but the game tells you exactly where to use them. Light traversal challenges, no creativity needed from the player, just find the spot where you're prompted to hit “E”. I was bored.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Short but very lovingly designed puzzle platformer with a well-told story. The short duration of the game is not particularly bad, as it is worth playing through the game several times to reach the different endings. The puzzles are clever and playful, but will hardly overwhelm anyone. Some jumps need a bit of timing, but there are hardly any frustrating parts. The controls and the extensions that are gradually being added work flawlessly. Only the grappling hook is a little inaccurate.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →short, simple with pretty decent story. 3.5/5
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really good story and satisfying game play. Nothing too hard regarding the puzzles, just an enjoyable 3-4 hours.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really interesting game. Something I didn't see anywhere though, you can play with a controller right up until the end (you'll know where). Once you start getting frustrated, switch over to mouse and keyboard. There's a targeting feature that the mouse gets that controller doesn't that changes the end from maybe-impossible to pretty easy.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Well it is a somewhat neat game, the concept is good but not executed to it's fullest potential. POSITIVES: > Cartoon looking graphics, pleasing to the eyes > Voice acting is good > Sound effect are good as well > Kid friendly > A semi-puzzle ( figure the path ) > Replayability NEGATIVES >Gameplay is VERY short >Replayablity for alter endings that turned out a bit unsatisfying >Music was kinda off >Puzzles were pretty straight forward >Aiming is wonky at best >Bugs, nothing…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fascinating game! Excellent story, interesting puzzles and lots of fun :D I suggest to play it on keyboard because with controller it will be hard later on (not the best experience). But in overall I love this game! 10/10

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A neat lil platformer with good production values and a compelling story. Very easy gameplay though, and relatively short, unless you're trying to get the good ending, which might require a few replays.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not the game for me. The character moves painfully slow and it is not an engaging game: I wasn't solving puzzles, I was just doing the only thing I could do in front of me.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Innovative gameplay, beautifully rendered, good puzzles An innovative physics puzzle game. Puzzles are not trivial but also not frustrating. The story is well suited to the gameplay and helps with immersion. An adorable piece of gaming for one sitting or two. Definitely recommended.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very nice 2d sidescroller puzzle game. The robot controls perfectly and the graphics are very well done. Took me 3.5 hours to complete. Totally worth the price paid for.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Excellent small game with fantastic graphics and a neat and, at times sad, story. Ran great and I only had 2 hiccups which were completely worth it. I found a couple of the puzzles a little too difficult but I am horrendous at puzzle games.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The cat is cute but it's constantly trying to kill you.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A nice game! If you want to see a good story with time-traveling and simple relaxing puzzles, I can only recommend trying it. I admire the level design, the art style, and references to such masterpieces as "Steins;Gate" and "Back to the Future". The sound design is noticeable too. P.S. Передаю привет Кефирчику :-).
