60 of 182 · most liked firstLook it's a good game, I get the developer's effort in the player's models and moves etc, I get that it's improving and I do see the potential in this game, but they physics is just not right. I play tennis in real life and other tennis games, but there are things that are just off. If u play under the Legendary difficulty in the career mode, like slams, you will see what I mean. First of all, apparently ur opponent has much more stamina than you, even you are Alcaraz, Second of all, they…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I wanted to recommend this game until I found out that you can't play offline. From what I understood, consoles can play offline, only PC players got screwed. Avoid this garbage.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I own and played most of the tennis games like all the Top spin , all the Virtua tennis, Grand slam tennis, ao tennis, tennis world tour, tennis elbow, mario tennis... This is the first time in over 30 years playing tennis video games that we are blessed with such a big roster from both the atp and wta. So many tournaments to choose, the quality of the graphics and player faces and animations....All I can say, thank you Big ant studios. I have played all your tennis games and see that you have…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →First off I want to say if you are looking for an alternative to topspin, this is by far the best tennis game on the market. Career mode is really fleshed out with fatigue, managing your prize money from matches, planning out your year, and much much more. The graphics are top tier, and the roster is huge. Absolutely zero micro transactions in the game, and there is even an in game custom outfit creator that you can use to upload your own images to further customize your character in addition…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Before I played TIEBREAK: Official game of the ATP and WTA i had a small wee wee, no friends, no girlfriend, depression and absolutely no will to live. None of these things have changed, but the game is pretty good.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Please still updating this game, have so much potential! If this get abandoned like others of Big Ant Studios i will never buy a game from this enterprise again.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I want to like this game... I really do. It's insane that not a single good tennis game has been released since Top Spin 4 (Tennis Elbow aside) but here we are. I have played a year in the career mode - have not played online or exhibitions. Positives - Great roster - Ability to create and download players/venues outside the current roster (my favorite feature) Negatives Everything else, the gameplay is repetitive and unvaried, players are exactly the same as each other, Flat shots…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It pains me to give this game a weak thumbs-down. But I find myself not really wanting to play it, after only ab 7 hours. Before I get to the cons, let me do the pros. PROs 1. Nice solid roster of WTA and ATP players. Many of them are well modeled, and it is a new game so the roster is relatively current. 2. Graphics and sound design are good. The game is easy on the eyes and ears, for the most part. I don't think I've seen a visually better game on the market for tennis. 3. Solid…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The career mode in this game is absolutely disgusting. Training mechanics are know to be buggy, the game is over 2 years old and devs haven't fixed it. Lots of frustration. Do not Recommend if you want it for the career mode.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The training is incredibly awful in the career mode. Without a marker to know EXACTLY where I am hitting the ball, the precision drills are impossible. I don't want to spend 10 weeks in game just trying to complete 1 drill. It's a shame, because the actual gameplay is good, but this holds it back because it makes it so much harder to use the skill points to upgrade your character.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →No way this game is a finish product...The career Mode is broken can't level up your player despite winning tournaments they're stuck on level 43. So I refuse to play this game again until this problem gets resolved
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Keep up the good work! 1. Federer's faces have been mixed up for 07-08 and 09-12. You should fix it since it is very obvious. 2. As many have mentioned, players should have a white outfit to play Wimbledon. 3. Chinese translation is poor. For instance, in English, a deciding shot to win a point and a trophy winner are both called "winner". However, in Chinese this is not the case. When I won a tournament in career mode, I saw myself labeled as "制胜球“, which is a bit embarrassing. I saw…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Played a bit of this when there was a free weekend, definitely found it fun despite being clueless. Will probably buy one day when drunk and on sale.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Incomplete opinion : (I've only played 4 or 5 exhibition matches so far, on different surfaces, so I don't yet have an opinion on the other game modes, but what I can say is that there's a lot you can do). - The game is MUCH more generous than Top Spin 2K25 in terms of characters. What a joy to have 120+ players ! - Some faces are close to perfection and others are messed up, I hope they'll improve them over time. - A tutorial with 40-50 exercises to learn the basics and the more complex…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good job on the new updates. Thanks for adding Rybakina. I really hope that you can add players from South East Asia, such as Tjen and Eala on the next updates. Cheers!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you have exp points, say like 4, you have to wasted 1 hole week to use just 1 point or you can do a really hard test to use 2, you have to sacrifice a whole week to use XP point, u cant't use anymore that week, and to have that point used they make you do some test. what BS is that. you make me jump through hop to get what i all alreally earned, and 1 of the test is to hit the ball in a small square on the other side, and if you fail, you wasted a week, It's like working all week for a…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The best Tennis game currently available on the market. Certainly needs some fixes but it has been getting better and better.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →the upgrades to game mechanics this game has received since launch are AMAZING. and if you're looking for realism and immersion and player likeness, as well as a large variety of pro players to play as or against- this is the perfect game!! I was super disappointed in Topspin 2k25, and was unimpressed with Tiebreak when it first came out. But now this game feels AWESOME.. highly recommend
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Didn't know this game existed until yesterday and I play pretty much all tennis games that come out. This year's Topspin was a disappointment to me. What I like: the amount of known players in the game, overall gameplay (especially in the non-assisted mode), presentation, gear, and user created custom venues, logos and characters. I like that the rallies feel fair but challenging, I like the speed and that it tests your reactions. I don't know if the serves are too powerful just yet but it…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If there's one thing I appreciate about tennis video games, it's that the genre isn't dominated by a single company or title, unlike other sports games. There are a handful of options to choose from, and based on previews, I was hopeful that this game would be one of the better ones. Unfortunately, it fell short of expectations for me for quite a few reasons. To start with the positives, the graphics and presentation are fantastic. The game looks great, no doubt about that part. But that’s…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Insane improvement over AO2. Really enjoy how much better this feels in terms of overall realism. Shots feel much more rewarding and the shot selection feels better. Graphics are solid improvement over AO2 as well. Def a must buy if you enjoy tennis games.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So far the game is better then any tennis game i played in the last 5 years but it can still improve in some areas especially in career mode. career mode is really fun but leveling up your player and increasing the attributes could be a pain since the training sessions are usually buggy (Example: The ball gets to you before you can even get off a power shot then when you do, it doesn't count when you hit the corner for service, even though you did it). But other then that the game play and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It has so much potential... but needs so much more work. It's clunky, the AI only has A and not I. I'm someone who gets these types of games for the career modes because I don't enjoy online play. And so for me and anyone who likes a career mode, DO NOT BUY THIS YET UNTIL it's been hotfixed if it ever will be. Even on sale for a simple reason - --- CRASHES TO DESKTOP CONSTANTLY --- This seems to be a constant problem for a lot of people after having done a lot of research into it to…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The movement in this tennis game is awful. AO Tennis 2 has way better movement animations. What happened? The graphics, face scans, and roster are solid, and the animations are good, but the gameplay suffers because of the movement. Why release the game if it's not ready? If you think TopSpin 2k25 is frustrating, then this game will drive you even more crazier. No wonder the game is dead. Shame on you, BigAnt.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →good now they fixed the career mode
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →No way this game is a finish product...The career Mode is broken can't level up your player despite winning tournaments they're stuck on level 43. So I refuse to play this game again until this problem gets resolved
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →some upgrades compares to AO2. very good career mode although the training to spent skill point was frustrating sometimes. It still have plenty room for improvement : 1. Player should have the ability to retired due to age (maybe set the bar at 40, cause it's sad seeing Djokovic at 42 on career) 2. Please make the downloadable player from the community creator ineligible on our career mode. thing is i downloaded retired former ATP like Safin, Sampras, Becker and so on but i don't want them on…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →terrible performance with 4090/7800X3D/64Gb installed on NVME at ultrawide resolution despite graphics settings. Inexcusable
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is so damn good because even though you know what to do the opponents continue to catch you out, love the way the opponent starts to read the serve placement during the match, I thought medium was a bit too difficult at first, it's not, it's actually just right and yeah just keep that as it is, but at the same time it still catches you out which really makes it a game, it also makes you come back for more and more, especially Djokovic is definitely the hardest to beat and quite…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →best game of tennis so far!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →From the outside I thought Top spin looked better but after playing them both pretty extensively this game is by far superior. Its like sim-lite, while Topspin is full on arcade. Just such a larger skill ceiling so you can get better and better. Also has way more players and for god's sake a career mode! That seems like a must have to me but for some reason topspin only has my player mode. So yeah, unless you want a arcade game, this is def the clear choice. I really hope Big Ant continue…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I see comments saying topspin game play is better but that only applies to online if you are an offline game this game will scratch that tennis itch deeper game play and a deeper career
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Lovely looking game. Superb menu system. Pretty perfect! But unplayable because of the lack of control of your tennis player. I can barely get through half of the tutorial. Its so frustrating, the controls are broken. Please do not buy, even with 90% discount. Its a mess.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As a straight up tennis game, the gameplay is not bad. However, the additional features this game provides are awful. The Career mode is essentially broken. The reputation management does not work, and the training modes are poorly designed and extremely difficult to execute effectively. It would be best if they just eliminated that and let you spend skill points directly on your character without having to spend them through the training. In short, this could have been great, but it's just a…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Excellent tennis game. I'm coming from Tennis Elbow 4. Using the non assisted tiebreak control scheme instead of the other assisted control types really brings this game to life. It's so much more fluid than tennis elbow 4. Animations are fantastic. You really need to have a good tennis IQ in the higher difficulties to be competitive. It's got sliders for everything you can think of, so if something isn't to your taste, like ball speed on a certain surface, or if opponents aren't making enough…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tiebreak is an impressive addition to the world of tennis video games, filling the void left by the Top Spin series. For tennis enthusiasts craving a simulation-heavy experience, this game delivers a rewarding challenge, making every point feel earned. With official ATP and WTA licenses, including venues, sponsors, and branding, the presentation is top-notch and enhances the authenticity of the experience. Coming from Top Spin, the controls in Tiebreak feel quite different, emphasising a more…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Thank God they gave us a chance to play this game for free over the weekend. Probably the worst Tennis game here on steam. The gameplay, animations and especially the movement are AWFUL. I wouldn't give 10 euros for this game, let alone 50. Way overpriced and every other tennis game out there is just better. Plain and simple.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A really good tennis game with a lot of content and official licenses although the problems I have with it are, no sit down scene between sets and a certain number of games, the customisation of the clothing especially the main clothes (i.e the shirt and shorts) isn't actuallly customisable like in AO and also not being to have glasses on your character (because some players in the past have had to wear glasses) again something that was taken out from AO. But other those bug bears, it's a good…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Coming from TS2K and I'm loving it so far!! The Career mode is so much better!! I miss how vibrant TS2K looks though haha.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tiebreak is the best tennis game I've played thus far. I've been playing tennis games for 30 years. The roster of players and the authenticity of gameplay is one of a kind.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →only game that has the real GOAT
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →positives : Roster has many players to choose from 80+ players just on mens side. they add players in updates frequently graphics are ok but the lighting shadows could be more realistic. career mode is good polished but bland could include press conferences and more customisation to the player. Game play is not topspin level but its close serve mechanics are good ball height determining what shots you play is good. ai can hit errors which is very well done! good step up from big ant studios.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For career mode, they need to add a re-try and ball placement shown like AO for training. Never seen a sports game that doesn't let you retry for training session.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Should be the greatest tennis game of all time but difficulty is broken. Amazing roster, amazing venues and presentation but the game is laughably easy on easy difficulty and impossible on medium. Devs added custom difficulty sliders without any kind of explanation as to how they work. Does lowering the value make it easier or harder? Some descriptions seem to suggest that a lower value would be easier for the player whilst others make it seem that a higher value would be more beneficial. The…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tried this during the Free Weekend, and I’m glad I didn’t spend a single penny on it. The gameplay is dull, the graphics feel outdated, and overall, it’s a poorly executed joke. Save your money and just play real tennis instead.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Most of the positive reviews here are based on the player roster. While that's great, the game itself is sub par. Mechanics are off, cpu hits winners that aren't get-table (i guess that's their winners system). Movement is janky the and power meter isn't accurate. Also when you're playing a match, its an eerie quiet and cold feeling. The crowd dynamics are sort of an afterthought
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →EDIT: I still want legacy serving controls as an option, but the trick with this game's serving is to hold A or B until you'd actually hit the ball with the racket. I do appreciate the intuitiveness but for newcomers to this game, legacy serve controls would be appreciated. I now recommend this game! The roster is amazing. Roger, Rafa, Andy Murray, Tsonga, even Del Potro is in this game. And for whoever the game doesn't have (I.E. Serena Williams), you can download them in the Community tab…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Excellent Game of Tennis. Close to reality. Love the game. Wonderful.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a good tennis game. If you've played the others and want something fresh, go for it. The graphics are great and the player roster is awesome.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I am a big tennis fan and i watched all big finals when big three were playing.Whole Djokovic uprise in the Era of Federer and Nadal was amazing and honestly whole rivalry and matches they played will be cemented in history of tennis for a long time. This game is a tennis masterpiece from roster to gameplay and djokovic dlc is genious,i watched all those finals and matches and being able to replay them in the game was such a joy and fun.Since Top Spin 4 didnt have this much fun in tennis…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Muchisimo mas divertido que el Top Spin 2k25. Tiene potencial para ser el mejor videojuego de Tenis,
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Certainly not the best game, but it isn't bad either. They are constantly working on the game fixing bugs and adding new real characters. I mean come on, new games these days come with a lot of problems they could leave it as it is but they don't and I'm more then happy with that. Personally I like this more then topspin, is it better then AO2 think that depends upon who you ask. For me, I like this version more then AO2 but that's just my opinion. And sure it still needs work but if…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →please next update add players like tien fonseca jodar and etc
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Probably the best official tennis game on the market, and the best game in some years. Presentation, graphics, and gameplay are all stellar. You have a plethora of tennis stars, courts, and tournaments to pick from. I am really enjoying this so far, it's miles ahead of TopSpin.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is good and has plenty of content, but I feel it lacks realism in terms of gameplay—and especially in the simulation of other players' results. I almost never see Alcaraz or Sinner in ATP 1000 or Grand Slam finals; they rarely even make it past the early rounds, constantly getting knocked out by lesser-known players. Instead, the finalists end up being players with far less pedigree and lower odds of winning. Until this issue is fixed, the game is unplayable for me, and I wouldn't…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →TIEBREAK+: Official Game of the ATP and WTA is an ambitious attempt to deliver the most complete modern tennis simulation possible, and in many ways, Big Ant Studios succeeds in creating a game that finally captures the strategic rhythm and realism of professional tennis better than most recent entries in the genre. Published by Nacon, the game arrives with official ATP and WTA licensing, an enormous roster of professional athletes, detailed tournament structures, and a clear focus on…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It would be great to add a MOD version as well I like to select players for draws manually Career mod should allow us any players to select even they are from community Clothes should be more customizable and have tens of options
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is very good and probably has the biggest roster of official tennis players available, which is impressive. However, it really needs more updates in order to keep the player base active and stable over time. During the summer, when updates were released more frequently, the number of players increased noticeably. At the moment, there hasn’t been an update in over two months, so it really needs to return to the same update rhythm as during the summer. With consistent improvements, this…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Horrible experience from training in career mode, unplayable.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →WOW! I’ve tried and refunded nearly every tennis game out there, and this one was my last hope and it completely delivered! While I wish mouse and keyboard were an option, the controller setup works perfectly. The graphics are stunning, the sound design is immersive, and the gameplay feels incredibly smooth and realistic. The level of customisation is HUGE! by far the best I’ve seen in any sports game. Massive thanks to the developers for creating something that truly feels authentic. This is…
