positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Achievement Hunters beware Big fan of Point and Click and really loved the retro look. Game was easy enough to get 100% achievements at the time. Developer decided to add 2 more achievements over 8 months ago and they have yet to be obtainable. As an achievement hunter this type of thing I do not find acceptable. It is fine to add achievements after some time but, only if people are able to get them and not as a placeholder of sorts. Because I am an achievement hunter I do not recommend…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Two new achievements were added at the start of 2021 for the upcoming v2.0 release. 8 months later and still no patch has been released and No communication from devs to players I would not recommend this game or buy anything from this dev, because they seem to do not care at all about their games or customers.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game is interesting, however for some years the developer Digital Bounce House added two new achievements without releasing a new update in the game. The achievements are broken and cannot be unlocked, and even though they promised they would make a new release. after two years nothing. Don't trust developers like these, Digital Bounce House. Never in my life have i heard of a game adding new achievements without releasing a new update for the game, then lying to customer in the forums for…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A fun game if you like traditional point-n-click adventures. Haven't finished the game myself yet, but I will say it's well worth the small price it has. I haven't run into any ridiculously difficult puzzles yet, and I'm quite enjoying the humour in the game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is not complete nor is likely to ever be. Developer added two new achievements over two years ago and they are not active. Life happens however two years to enable achievements or remove them is beyond reasonable. Avoid this game and do not purchase it until they developer can provide the minimum accountability that we all should expect.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Relies on pixel hunting for many of the puzzles, which is never, ever anything but annoying and is an aspect of old school adventure gaming that should be long dead and buried by now. There's no hot spot indicator, and the cursor doesn't even change at all when you mouse over something that can be clicked on, but you need to click on a number of seemingly random bits of scenery (or just muddy bits of things that don't look like anything since the graphics aren't very clear) to get key plot…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A great little game, fairly priced. The backgrounds, character sprites and animations are all wonderful, although a couple of the animations are a little overused. There's no voice acting (except for the odd exhalation or vomiting sound), but the dialog is funny and concise. The music all fits nicely, too. The game feels like it's going to end really early, but actually it doesn't. I wasn't timing how long it took me to complete, but for the price it was a decent length. The puzzles are…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ignoring the Telltale style most modern point-and-clicks employ, Tick’s Tales is a linear and humorous venture through Tick’s world. Describing it as a comedic version of these games could put a bad taste into your mouth, though. This is more a Shaun of the Dead than a Scary Movie version of point-and-clicks. It’s redundant to say if you don’t like a genre you shouldn’t play it, but Tick’s Tales will not be converting anyone to becoming fans of point-and-clicks. The game is longer than you’d…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The overall gameplay is really nice but unfortently the developers have abaonded the game to work on mobile games instead in 2021 they gave us a HUGE cliff hanger claiming there will be a next version/update to be released soon and nothing ever since. It is really sad to see the developers have taken this path but it is what it is.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tick's Tales is a point & click adventure with cool pixel art and funny dialog. I just finished it and have to say that I really enjoyed it. The puzzles are neither too hard nor too easy, interesting story, good sound effects & soundtrack and really awesome pixel art. Some people find it short, it took me around 5 hours (without guide or walk-through) to finish it, but for me the length of the game is just about right. Maybe the only thing that this game is lacking is voice acting. If you are a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A cute little point-and-click adventure that is unlikely to please fans of the genre. Other than its cuteness and a few jokes, it has little going for it. It is quite short, there are only handful of scenes in which any action happens, and most of the puzzles are about “try to click every object with everything else until something happens” rather than using real logic. That said, there is potential there in some satisfying riddles. I am sure the developer could create a good game with more…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tick's Tales is an adventure game inspired by the golden years of the genre (King's Quest especially). Story: You play as Tick, he's the village troublemaker, but all he wants to be is the hero and win over the heart of his crush Georgia McGorgeous and you need to do this is complete the tests of a true hero and get the sword of blergh all while fighting a looming threat in Bloodclot. The story of Tick's Tale is comedic and honestly quite charming. It pokes fun at the adventure genre and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great little game. Not all the puzzles are logical, but they're surely enjoyable. Really loved the characters and the dialogues. The addition of voice acting would be great, but it doesn't really matter, since the game is great and quite cheap. Great job! Till next time, don't forget to point & click!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is one of the few games I'm on the fence about...On the one hand, I don't believe it deserves a thumbs down, but on the other hand I don't quite know if I'd recommend the game. The game itself had no bugs. I love pixel graphics as well and the music/sound wasn't all that terrible. The story was a bit lacking in my honest opinion. It wasn't the worst I've seen in a game, given, but it also wasn't anything great (and I like weird stories in games too!) and seemed to have been kind of rushed…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tick's Tales is a retro style, pixel graphic, point & click adventure game. You play as tick a young boy with a crush whom he wishes to impress. In order to do that he's got to become a knight. The game tries to be funny but usually comes of as more cheesy but it plays off that and seems to be purposely cheesy... like naming the romantic interest "Georgia McGorgeous." It also breaks the fourth wall, acknowledging itself as a game in several places. It makes references to various games and…

A humorous adventure game hits all the standard beats of collecting items, combining them and using them in the right locations. Everything works well enough, except for the games decision to have a drunken camera that refuses to stand still making playing game nauseating at times as the viewport lopes lazily around at the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A fun pixel graphic point & click game about an aspiring knight. The story is well told, filled with humor and lots of modern cultural references. I definitely recommend if you like this genre.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tick's Tales is a very classic point-and-click adventure game. The story itself uses enough clichés to last a lifetime, although it never really became clear to me whether we were all having a meta laugh at the expense of the genre, or whether it's not that deep or self-aware. Same goes for the adventure: some of the solutions were very "think-outside-the-box", but it's unclear to me whether this was done on purpose to mock the genre or not. All in all, the game's good for some laughs but…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Update 23-06-13 - Achiement Hunters and completionists beware! I have to withdraw my recommendation, originally written on 18-09-11. I have given it some thought, and I have waited a while before deciding to do so. It would appear that ca. 2,5 years ago, 2 additional achievements were added to this game. Which in itself isn't a problem per se; though adding them some 5 or 6 years after releasing the game does seem an... odd choice. And not exactly nice for people who completed the game many…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pixel-art adventure game, that doesn't take itself too seriously. Not quite a "Monkey Island", but those are some pretty big footsteps to step into. Nonetheless, had some good laughs while playing. I've completed it in 2 hours, for 100% achievements I consulted a guide. Well-spent money for a well-spent time. Recommended, if you don't have issues with the art style in general.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Short and funny point and click adventure. Some puzzle require me to look walkthrough because i missed clicking some item. If you want an entry to point and click game, this could be one. It's short, not too hard, and funny.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tick's Tales is a light-hearted and fun point & click adventure game, in the vein of 90's King's Quest. It took under 3 hours to finish, however, I did glance at a walkthrough a couple of times. The graphics are pixelated, but still quite pretty. The plot is silly, but still compelling. It's a great little game!

Tick's Tales is basically a spoof of that, only shorter. Good entry point for people who have never tried a “Sierra style” adventure game. positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Short but amusing and entertaining. Worth a few bucks!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tick's Tales is a humourous adventure game in the vein of King's Quest, Monkey Island and Simon the Sorcerer, which successfully emulates the feeling of comedy immersion found in the aforementioned games. My only issues stem from the relative ease of some of the puzzles and the short length of the game, with my playthrough lasting just 100 minutes. Regardless, Tick's Tales is a joyful callback to the golden days of adventuring gaming. I sincerely hope the developers continue to make adventure…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I enjoyed this game. I loved the graphics and feel of the game took me back to the classic era of Adventure games. The puzzles were not that hard nor too easy. I recommend this game to anyone who wants to go back to that classic era. I hope more games are made and maybe longer play.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It’s to the game’s credit that the puzzles never feel overly obscure, and you’ll probably never find yourself ranclicking* in an attempt to progress. I found myself majorly stumped just once, because I failed to pick up a collectible item that I had strolled past dozens of times. The limited locations help you in this regard, because the puzzles are more contained. Adventure games with vaster worlds force you to hedge your bets on solutions, not being able to fully commit to trying to puzzle…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tick's Tales is a quirky point and click adventure game. Tone and humor is similar to Adventure Time, as you wander through the world encountering wacky characters and solving bizarre puzzles. The developer is clearly a fan of snarky references, bad puns, and dad jokes. Fairly priced, hilariously written, and well worth your time.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →2 broken cheevos :(
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →about 1½ hour to complete - not to complex. I enjoyed it, the music when he thinks about his love interest is a Leisure Suit Larry pastiche, which is funny. When you want to complete a game, but don't have a lot of time, i would recommend - the pricetag of 8eur is a little steep, i got it through a bundle, and i wouldn't pay 8eur for the game - it is too short.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Short but solid old-style point and click Pretty decent pnc game for the price, I paid 0.18 pence from Keysite and for that it's worth it. I have now completed this game and I quite enjoyed it. My Score - 6/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →boring short story
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I paid $2 for this game and that's about all it's worth. The pixel animation is fairly good and can be entertaining, but the close-ups of characters are straight up MSPaint and there's maybe an hour and a half of content.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Reminds me of King's Quest series. Good but short. I recommend it but at half the price.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →super cute game with lots of humor to go along with the point n click, puzzle-y fun.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Broken achievements, which isn't a huge deal. But not fixing it in over three years is.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →why the hell that broken update from 2021
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A bit sick, but gonna try to stream a silly point&click game called Tick's Tales
unlabelledView post →A cute, brief game which feels like a mix of "King's Quest" and "Willy Beamish." Old school vibes aplenty, worth every cent I paid.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just okay. Super short.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →With the loss of Spiderweb Software and buyout of Lucas Arts by the Rat, the early 2000s felt like the final death knell for classic adventure games in a long, slow descent caused by the travesty that was Myst. But there are still a few companies out there who have picked up the mantle and continue to bring us great adventure games. Tick is a young boy who's decided to fulfil an ancient prophecy and become a knight so that he can make the girl of his dreams, Georgia McGorgeous, fall in love…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tick's Tale is actually a surprisingly decent adventure game. Short, but decent. The beginning didn't leave such a good impression. The game seemed too lazy. Trudging onward though the puzzles are better than expected. There is more internal logic and consistency to them than most adventure games. The humour is also decent. Not great, but not cringy. The biggest gripe I have about the game is the name, Tick's Tale. I thought you would be playing as a tick or something along those lines. That…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →"Tick's Tales" somehow manages to be an adventure game crash course. Its 2 hour (yep) game time is a bunch of laughs, dream logic puzzles that mostly make sense, a couple of really obscure puzzles, unnecessary pixel hunting, too much inventory, and a pleasant afternoon. It's not a great adventure game like "Monkey Island" or "Technobabylon," but if you can get it for anything below $2, have a go.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very great click & point adventure game and easy to finish. Repetive, but nice nostalgic music I really like. Simple story, but that doesn't disturb. Very logical and not too difficult, as long as you got eyes for details. Great dialogues and it's also funny to choose 'wrong options' on purpose. It's always great to enjoy the reactions and emotions of your conversation partner. It's only too short if you pay full money for it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This was a pleasant point & click game with a catchy soundtrack (short tunes). The story was rather entertaining and the task at hand was not as easy as one would think. I would highly recommend this game, especially at the $1.99 price it is currently.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A fun, humorous classic Point & Click adventure.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is so short so dev decided to make It difficulty. With guide you can end It in 15 min without I think even 4-5 hours.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →10/10 I am honestly in love with this game. It's so fun and perfectly reminiscient of the older pixel graphic games, yet updated in ways such as humor and navigation. All of the little puzzles were extremely easy. It was more like a little adventure or quest game with some puzzle aspects. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for some fun and a little nostalgia. It's not a long game, but it's definitely a game you should play and it's worth the price. Because it doesn't have a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice little game with good humour. Sadly it's only about 2 hours long.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Short but punny. Worth checking out!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →“Tick’s Tales” is an adventure point-and-click game sporting retro-style graphics and a narrative that doesn’t cater to the usual. Our titular character, Tick, is everything a hero is not: weak, easily scared, mischievous, and selfish. He really just wants to win the heart of the town beauty, Georgia McGorgeous. Pulling out the Sword of Blergh wouldn’t hurt either. The game starts you up in a dream sequence where it holds no punches back in showing its humor. It also serves as a tutorial of…
