Although this game brings the same competitive vibe in a beautifully made new look (not to mention copied 1 to 1 animations from 90s game), still it feels like where is so much to improve. Maybe a manual receiving mode or a button to receive manually would be great since sometimes the player just doesn't receive the ball. A combination key for diving forward or backward would be awesome. AI sometimes missed to hit the ball on serve, sometimes it serve in a way it's impossible to receive. I can recommend to anyone who loves volleyball, game is perfect for casula 5-10 mins sessions and easy to learn and hard to master! Would be great to get extended training mode to catch all the fancy techniques. Definitely must to have on Deck!

Currently it's paper thin on game modes and content, but has great core of stylish visual presentation and addictive gameplay mechanics. It feels simple at first, but Thunder Spikes is surprisingly deep game, especially if you consider 2D perspective and simplistic controls scheme. What I hope devs add later: 1. Online multiplayer. 2.
