They Call Me Trinity
The simple story has the pair coming to the rescue of peace-loving Mormons when land-hungry Major Harriman sends his bullies to harass them into giving up their fertile valley. Trinity and Bambino manage to save the Mormons and send the bad guys packing with slapstick humor instead of excessive violence, saving the day. From TMDB

If you like filthy cowboys—I’m talking about one plastered in a lasagna of sweat, grime, dust and crud—then this is the movie for you. Great comedy. Great beans. Great slaps. Now that’s my kind of trinity.

I was expecting to kind of slump over in my bed halfway through because I was so battered by the day to that point but I was enjoying the movie enough to finish it wide awake.

One of my favorite movies/westerns of all time…and Henry Fonda has a hard time not being upstaged in scenes with Terrence Hill. Then see other Terrence Hill movies starting with “They Call Me Trinity”. Not Leone, but madcap fun!

unlabelledView post →But I also think it'd be totally possible to recontextualise They Call Me Trinity so it *would* be art. It's not only in the eye of the beholder. I reject the idea that "being art" is some essential quality that a work has or hasn't, it's a scalar and it changes. (Also there's a LOT of shit art)
