The Zombie Slayers
Developer Rashad Ibrahimli
The Zombie Slayers is a wild top-down shooter where you battle zombies, make babies and show off your dance moves, while dressed in (sometimes) ridiculous costumes. Team up with friends, adopt pets, and survive waves of undead chaos. It's crazy, colorful, and just the right amount of hilarity! From the Steam store page

What people are saying
Mostly positive, with praise for fun chaos and criticism of bugs and controls.
Many players enjoy the chaotic, humorous zombie-blasting action and find it great fun with friends. One player calls it "amazing game, highly recomended" and another highlights the "farting baby monster" as a delightful touch. [3][7]
However, a significant number of players report bugs, glitches, and poor controls. One player says the game is so full of bugs, and glitchiness I couldn't even recommend this as a free game, while another complains about "horrible controls and screen movement." Issues like falling through the map and unresponsive menus on Steam Deck are also mentioned. [16][17][14][15]

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is really interesting and has a great atmosphere! The overall gameplay style is very engaging — you can feel that the developers put a lot of heart into it. I especially liked the character design and how smooth the controls feel — everything seems well thought out and comfortable to play. There are some minor issues, like a small delay when starting the game, but that’s nothing serious and can easily be fixed in future updates. Other than that, The Zombie Slayers is fun, dynamic, and…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The Zombie Slayers is a top-down action shooter developed by Rashad Ibrahimli and published by indie.io that approaches the zombie genre from a deliberately unserious and chaotic angle. Instead of focusing on grim survival horror or bleak post-apocalyptic storytelling, the game embraces exaggerated humor, fast arcade-style combat, and a constant stream of absurd ideas. From the moment you start mowing down the undead, it becomes clear that the game’s primary goal is to deliver energetic,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Zombie waves are kinda slow, and you level up pretty fast in the game. no ammo worries, so you don’t even check your bullet count. maybe a plus. play on hard mode and with your friends (otherwise, it might get boring). at low XP, all the weapons feel the same, and the game makes you work for different guns. unless you get lucky and find them somewhere on the map. so yeah, there’s weapon variety, but at the start most of them feel similar (just different sounds and speeds). customization is…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Highly Entertaining Chaos! 🧟♂️💥 Just wrapped up my first hour with The Zombie Slayers and I'm genuinely impressed! This game delivers exactly what it promises - pure, unadulterated zombie-blasting fun with a delightful twist of humor. What I Love: Instant Action: Jumped right into the chaos without a steep learning curve. The top-down shooter mechanics feel tight and responsive. Character Customization: The weapon selection system is surprisingly robust! So many guns to choose from, and I…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is great and has a different kind of chaos. More maps should be added in the future
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →At first we were had to wait a little for lobby to fill up but game is new its alright). I liked the feeling game gives, the best part was to watch zombies crowd to be blown up ;D
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is stupid fun with friends. Even better watching them fail at Not Balanced puzzle for 20 minutes lol.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Seems and looks ok, but has horrible controls and screen movement. Only my 2nd request for a refund
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So I like the game its basically a tower defense game with zombies. The problem is the bugs falling through the map and getting stuck in weird places and lag at higher levels or co-op. Me and the wife got another #1 highscores but i dont see us playing again unless a major update.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This feels like "babies first game" a lot of bugs and issues. The "finale" segment in the first missions goes on for waay too long and the second half of the second missions stopped spawning enemies so we just awkwardly completed the last two objectives and left. I also was able to shoot and kill myself in the tutorial by aiming my crosshair over my character and walking and shooting juuuust right, which if that is intentional is HORRIBLE game design but most likely a bug. The gameplay itself…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It doesn't work very well on the steamdeck. You can only navigate the menus by touch and even then some things like drop downs don't seem to work (can't change camera type). While playing the controls don't work well either. The player's direction per the second stick doesn't change until you actually shoot and then your speed changes. I found it frustrating to play.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So full of bugs, and glitchiness I couldn't even recommend this as a free game. Dev needs to put alot more effort into it before this would even be worth 4 dollars.
