Legitimately an insane, fascist racist
unlabelledView post →In his shitty post about Thunberg he's referencing his movie THE GREEN INFERNO, which he blathered in interviews was about "slacktivism" and "hashtag activists," despite the heroine of the movie (like Thunberg) being a brave young idealist risking her life for an unambiguously just cause.
unlabelledView post →He also directed the movie "The Green Inferno", in which a bunch of activists go to the Amazon to protest against the colonization of an Indigenous tribe, only for the tribe to kidnap, kill, and cannibalize them as some sort of "See, they were savages who needed to be civilized!" message.
unlabelledView post →Works done, time for a horror movie! Tonights randomly selected movie from my list of unwatched horror movies is... I've heard this one is pretty gnarly 🤷♂️ The Green Inferno, 2013
unlabelledView post →The last thing I watched that had Eli Roth attached to it was The Green Inferno and I am *astonished* anyone gave him a dime to make another movie after that one. AI is obviously an abomination but in Roth's case it might actually be an improvement.
unlabelledView post →Literally every character in (the vastly overrated) Eli Roth's The Green Inferno. They were all so insufferable and unlikable that it made me give up on the movie barely 10 minutes in. The movie was that bad.
unlabelledView post →It's cause he made a film called The Green Inferno which was basically his fantasy of activists going to the Amazon and being eaten by cannibals. And of course, like most cannibal fare, it's extremely racist.
unlabelledView post →It’s not too late to catch up with last weeks excellent episode of sick flicks on Eli Roth’s The Green Inferno, from @horrorgeek.bsky.social you will be glad you did. youtube.com/watch?v=KC5o...
unlabelledView post →Cannibal Holocaust, while extremely problematic in so many ways, still shows the white people being the aggressors. Eli's tribute to that film, The Green Inferno, shows how much he missed the point by having "dumb white protestors" drop into the amazon and the natives being "inhuman evil monsters."

unlabelledView post →A horror movie a day keeps the doctor away! Today's film is 2014's The Green Inferno! One of our favs; Eli Roth took a very taboo subject & rocked the big screen! Great cast, cinematography & dialogue! Graphic. Twisted. Raw! #eliroth #horrormovies #psychostudios #psychostudios21

unlabelledView post →I do like his films for the most part. One of my bucket list items was catching a midnight screening of a cannibal movie at a grindhouse. The closest I'd get to fulfilling that was an 11:45 screening of THE GREEN INFERNO at the AMC. With the reclining seats. I think it counts. I know it doesn't.
unlabelledView post →There’s a lot of movies that I’d bet would be fun on drugs I remember a buddy explicitly tellin’ me a horror movie not to watch when high “Do NOT watch [The Green Inferno] when high”
unlabelledView post →The Green Inferno is a cannibal film, like Cannibal Holocaust or Cannibal Ferox
unlabelledView post →TBH, from what little I had heard about it, it kinda sounds like the same brand of film Eli Roth made with The Green Inferno (which was rightfully panned as a racist Z-grade knock-off of Cannibal Holocaust).
unlabelledView post →Oh I HATED The Green Inferno! Putrid, nihilistic, mean-spirited, racist garbage! I can handle gore and blood and the like. This film sickened me with its brazenly racist and insulting depictions of indigenous amazon peoples. It’s just horrible.
unlabelledView post →If I see another news story about Natalie Harp it better be because she thinks she has been cast in The Green Inferno 2 but there is no such movie she is just being dropped off in the jungle and left there.
unlabelledView post →Watched The Green Inferno for the first time tonight, it was fine I guess. But it's the only film I can remember having the (then) Twitter handles of the cast in the credits.
unlabelledView post →Director of such films as Cabin Fever, Hostel, The Green Inferno, The 2018 Death Wish Remake and the Borderlads movie, friends with a cameos a lot in Quentin tarantion movies (contributed the Thanksgiving trailer for grindhouse). Also a director I don't like. He's this guy in inglorious bastards⬇️
unlabelledView post →(Dude resurrected the most dipshit Italian subgenre when he made The Green Inferno, but somehow made the only uninteresting jungle cannibal movie in history. An accomplishment of sorts)
unlabelledView post →Mate, Jason X is the EXACT RIGHT film to watch with too much whiskey! Objectively a cheesy 00s cheap scifi, but personally, an absolute hoot of a time! The scene with the sleeping bags cannot be topped! I just finished the Green Inferno & for a modern day cannibal film, it did trick!

unlabelledView post →Pick a movie, keep one actor. The rest are Muppets The Green Inferno Lorenza Izzo #IYKYK
unlabelledView post →That's how all his movies feel. Felt like that with Hostel too. His most egregious movie was The Green Inferno. He just decided to redo Cannibal Holocaust, but strip out the film's redeeming feature: the political messaging about western imperialism. To instead make it some anti-woke drivel.
unlabelledView post →Intrigued to see this getting good feedback. Is it enought to forgive him for The Green Inferno, a film that I get angry just thinking about?
unlabelledView post →That's all he deserves after The Green Inferno. That film made me actively angry.

unlabelledView post →I don't hear about this movie being as racist as The Green Inferno yet it is. Messaging not withstanding it contends that brown people living in inhospitable areas are literally demons that a civilized human mind would almost demean itself by trying to interact with such is their perversity

unlabelledView post →Worst Overall - The Green Inferno. Thanksgiving is admittedly the only Eli Roth film I actually like, and TGI reminded me of why that is the case but in a like. Getting hit in the head with a fucking sledgehammer kind of way. There's a reason why exploitation as a genre kinda died.
unlabelledView post →This movie as a whole is just exhausting to watch for me personally. Only the likes of, "The Green Inferno", the "Saw" movies, and "Hostel", "Terrifier" or "The Human Centipede" match this film's energy. However... this movie is better at subtlety. www.youtube.com/watch?v=XrQT...

unlabelledView post →Inglorious Bastards is such a crazy film that you get to see Eli Roth (director of Cabin Fever, Hostel Pt 1&2, and The Green Inferno) beat the hell out of a Nazi with a baseball bat.
unlabelledView post →We unfortunately watched movie No.23… THE GREEN INFERNO. My god this was a shitty movie. Nothing witty to say about it. Super racist and misogynistic. Every single actor was horrible. Please don’t ever watch this movie. “What are you going to do? March through the jungle and starve yourself?”
unlabelledView post →Lorenza Izzo is 34 today. I've only seen her in one film, but it's one worth seeing. The Green Inferno (2013) got an undeservedly bad rap, because its ethics are less black and white, and very much grey. Which is something a lot of people have no ability to process or accept. But it's a decent film.
unlabelledView post →Didn't hate but didn't care for it. Acting was pretty bad save for a few scenes by Lorenza Izzo though these characters' naivety were absolutely annoying. As Eli Roth movies go, probably one of his better movies, and yet I'm only giving it a 3/5.
neutral · AI labelView post →Their worst fear came from outside of their protest. I have enjoyed the Eli Roth's films, even though in some cases I've rated them lower than average rating it had received. But this is not what I was looking for. This is a terror-horror, not actual horror with supernatural or sci-fi viruses. I've learnt the storyline before the watch, but the film was too violent. Even for most of the grown ups. Usually I won't feel a thing for film tortures, because 'fake' is the word always pops up in my…
negative · AI labelView post →I wanted to see this since it began to crop up on the internet as an upcoming movie, taken me long enough to locate it and now I don’t really know how I feel. Maybe a bit visually raped. This has such a fucking weak beginning, like what is the relevance to the blonde bimbo being around and literally has no point to the rest of the movie whatsoever. Apart from being one of those cunts who says “Hey, wait a second” as you’re about to leave then instead of giving the burning words, says “never…
