I was really just trying to get the last achievement "have more than 5 children". Nonetheless giving it a positive review as there is nothing wrong with the game. I love the game of life but this is bad. game totally freezes every time you play statues and the only way to get passed this is to close the game down and reload it which is annoying especially when you seem to have to play it every 3 turns. game also froze at the end when calculating wealth, Unless this is fixed, dont bother.

My friends and I had fun, but we were done with the game after the first 3 games. Even without exploring everything, it just felt repetitive. It has replayability, but it's just not fun. If you’re still interested, I recommend the second game, Game of Life 2. It’s just better on the eyes. It builds off the first game, with improved graphics and hopefully more content. Played "The Game of Life (Hasbro interactive 1998)" growing up and I will admit this is game is very bland compared to it. I was expecting a nostalgic fix but now I miss all the dialogue, quirkiness, and music from the 1998 version. I even found myself yelling "PAY DAY BABY" every time it was payday. Today, it was updated and didn't look like the game that we have been playing for a long time. Neither one of us liked the new version of the game. Is their anyway to go back to the other game. We played it over 40 hours. My rating is for the "new" updated format. The old format would of gotten two thumbs up. Please note: We switched over to our Game of Life 2 and it was not updated. The boardgame is much better and if you want some more in depth gameplay THE GAME OF LIFE 2 might be more your speed. The game is fun, Though the Ai is pretty weak, They ALWAYS choose you for the events, Both good and bad. Plus they never seem to buy houses or want to get some babies. Plus the game sometimes freezes when I want to restart the game to try and get a 100% Completion. But Overall it's a good game, though if you dislike it then I wouldn't argue you.

I honestly can't believe that a game could even have a bug like this, I have no idea how it could happen.
