60 of 200 · most liked firstin 6 years John Cazale was in The Godfather 1 and 2, Dog Day Afternoon, The Conversation and The Deer Hunter. Then he died. In those 6 years he achieved more as a film actor than anyone in film history. He made ZERO bad movies in those 6 years. He was loved. He was amazing. What an absolute master

Why a Christopher Walken doll promoting the 1978 film The Deer Hunter is a thing that exists is another question entirely.

Great characters, acting, world-building, story-telling and villain. As Valentines Day in the movie falls on a Saturday, this is TECHNICALLY a "Friday the 13th" movie.

I was kind of a discipline problem at the time, and there was talk of “military school” for me to straighten me out. Then the first Iraq War happened. That was the end of that talk. That said, I'd adapt any of the movies John Cazale was in. The Deer Hunter would be *spectacular* as an animated film.
