positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So i'v seen some of the recent negative reviews with less than an hour of playtime and have to say i find some points to agree and disagree. But overall i say i would definitely recommend this game. CPS plays similar to "Deathstate" - you dont actively aim like in ETG but, and this differs to deathstate, you have to press the (autoaim) trigger of your gun. Caveat you will stand still for a brief moment. I understand that comming from many other top down indie games, like ETG or BOI it feels…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's okay but there are some weird decisions and bugs This is a slower top down shooter then other twin stick shooters out there. The main element that leads to this is the inability to move and shoot. This is fine as the gameplay revolves around finding a good rhythm to shooting, dodging and moving. Here is why I don't recommend it 1) You cannot change the controller binding. That's crazy since you can change the keyboard binding. Worst of all, it's A (X on PS controller) on the controller…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You can't move while shooting. Very frustrating. Nothing twin stick about it. Otherwise ok.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Once I got past the infatuation with the awesome theme and Happy Tree Friends characters I realized how flawed and boring the game is. - How many twin stick shooters force you to stand still while shooting? - Combine the stationary-to-move shooting style with the bullet hell gameplay (and environment hazards) it's just a clunky and frustrating experience - Happy Tree Friends are really just skins - The Slay the Spire level progression seems tacked on and not really beneficial/progressive.…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The mix of cute characters and extreme violence in The Crackpet Show creates an experience that’s hard to forget, I love the Happy Tree Friends vibe. The roguelike mechanics keep things exciting, with different weapons and power-ups making each playthrough feel fresh. The game runs smoothly on the Steam Deck, but the random upgrades can sometimes feel unfair, especially if you end up with weaker ones during a good run. The art style and soundtrack fit the gameplay perfectly. There's a co-op…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →My wife and I both grew up with Happy Tree Friends being a staple memory for us, so when she seen this as I browsed Fanatical, I had to buy it & the DLC. 10/10 we have great fun playing together on my PC (not sure if there is non-local MP) EDIT: After 15 more hours of playing this game together we finally beat it, to 100% minus skins and achievements, and it was a blast. But it was too short, we both (my wife and self) are saddened to not have more to do in this game, it brought us together…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Twinstick shooter + whacky + co-op = Rougelite and on crack. Shoot monsters, dodge bullets and gain upgrades. Collect likes/fame to unlock weapons and more. Takes some finesse to dodge while shooting. [url=https://store.steampowered.com/curator/35180752-3-point-play/] Follow our curator for similar games

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is bad. Im POSITIVE the reviews are manipulated. Right now its sitting at "mostly positive". But thats impossible. Its a bad bad game. Period. End of story. And its listed for $20.00!!! That is so messed up. Im not even joking when i say you shouldent even play this game if it was free. Its not worth it. Playing this game is a chore. This game is much slower than Revita. And Revita until this point was the slowest twin stick shooter I have ever played. Tediously slow. And just…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Genre - Roguelike Gunner. + Happy Tree Friends! do, de, do, de, do, de, do. + Progression is there and it's fun to play. + Enemies and power ups are varied. - Shame there isn't an online mode. - Voices are minimal and music is awful. +/- I haven't tried local co-op yet, but it's an option that looks fun if I had friends.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Y'know, I bought this game for the Happy Tree Friends crossover. I think a lot of people did. I even knew about the game before that, and I was intrigued but had skipped over it. But now that I've actually sat down and played it for a while, this is an all-around really fun and genuinely solid rogue-like shooter. Highly recommend it, HTF or otherwise.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Goat Force Gaming Review: 🍕 Is the game fun? Absolutely. 🍕 Does it offer a nice meta progression treadmill? YES! 🍕 Will I enjoy the game if I like other similar roguelites? I'm pretty sure you will. Here's some gameplay from my roguelite-focused channel in case helpful in your decision: https://youtu.be/G6FLqqAZDYE
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It’s unbelievable that a roguelike game doesn’t allow moving and shooting at the same time.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this game sucks, its like a crappy cell phone game
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'd love to make a good review for that one (I'm a furry and there's a pink bunny inside, you had me), but not allowing to manually aim, in a roguelite game wearing the skin of a twin-stick shooter, is daring. It doesn't mean good. They immediately shot themselves in the foot by making a one-stick shooter.. Daring, but ill-advised. If Enter the Gungeon, Binding of Isaac, Hades, Replikator, and certainly many others decided to allow for manual aim along with manual movement, it's for a good…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →these pets are on crack
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is a bit like crack; I keep going back to it, but I always regret it. It's an alright run-around-shooting-things game, but it just doesn't live up to the premise of the game. Nothing really feels like a game-show. Opponents are more suited to a dungeon-crawler or post-apoc shooter. Playable characters are disposable and not in a way that reflects the theme. It looks tempting but JUST SAY NO.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i paid three bucks for this on a sale, not including dlc. its good, probably not sixteen bucks good
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →+ easy and fun + coop roguelike + sweet graphics - no multiplayer
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →addictive but so frustrating at times with how some perks are useless against certain bosses (stun perk for example). this just makes it everything but fun.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →you just shoot with friends, and it is fun
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →such a shame, while the idea is great it could be a good game if the combat wasnt that clunky, having to stand still to shoot, and the game overall being so slow and unchallenging, besides dodging bullets, is just horrible and unfun and boring.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For me, this game is one that starts out with a really interesting premise, but completely fails to stick the landing. A violent cartoon gameshow is a great setting for a roguelite, and the collaboration with HappyTreeFriends fits that setting like a glove. Gameplay-wise however, the Crackpet Show does nothing to set itself apart. The biggest problem is that you're not really making a meaningful build during your run, which I think is essential to making a roguelite engaging. There's a small…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You lose if the RNG at the start of each round for perk picking is bad. game really forces you to not get hit once. Only got the game because i remember seeing happy tree friends as a kid and it made me laugh, so this review is more of a biased one keep that in mind.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As a fan of twin stick shooters, I want to warn others that this is not a twin stick shooter. Twin stick shooters utilize both sticks! This does not. Instead you use one stick to move and the game auto aims for you. You have the option of switching targets with the shoulder buttons, which is just eh.... You also have a dodge roll assigned to a button which you'll be using with your thumb - which is also needed to press the fire button. To me it would make more sense to make the firing button…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →love this game! so much. but happy lil tree friends dlc should have been free.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The Crackpet Show is a damn good but extremely wacky roguelike, and the special cartoon visuals are both cute and disturbing. Personally, I had a lot of fun and was particularly excited about the endless mode, which can also be really addictive and at the same time offers the greatest challenge. But the campaign is also a lot of fun and brings with it some innovative ideas. It is particularly suitable for players who do not have very strong nerves, since progress is saved here, in contrast to…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i love happy three friends a lot, a roguelike game genre suits the show so much. However, the execution is just horrible. I don't think the devs knew how to make an enjoyable roguelike. The game feels horrible to play. I really don't recommend to buy it even with a huge discount.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love roguelikes and Happy tree friends so i bought this based off that. Bad idea. It's like enter the gungeon if it was made by ai. Not worth the time investment.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Crazy but fun and hard shooter game. Haven't completed it yet, but I've been enjoying a lot playing co-op.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →f you're looking for a wild, fast-paced, and downright entertaining game, The Crackpet Show delivers in spades. From the moment you jump into this colorful, chaotic world, you're in for a treat. The game's quirky characters and over-the-top action make for an addictive experience that keeps you coming back for more.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →2023: no online multiplayer!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Imho anyone considering buying Crackpet Show, DON'T because as it stands the game (it does have potential but it's been totally wasted) this game is total trash, nothing interesting or new. Give the dev's longer to iron out the kinks and get rid of the frankly asinine design choices. I thought this would be good as it's "very positive" I'm not sure why it's got such a high "score" the combat is slow, REALLY SLOW. Your movement speed is way too slow (unless you get the perk) For some…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I adore the Happy Tree Friends vibe, sadly the "multiplayer" aspect is Remote Play. Which Remote Play is super bad for this type of game. Especially since if someone dips or has connection issues, it crashes the whole game for everyone. Best to play in singleplayer~ Hopefully online multiplayer in future? Please????
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →At this point, the best part of this game is the idea behind it and the UI. The shooting mechanic choice is really bad, the character animations mediocre, does not feel exciting to play and it's expensive. Probably won't come back until full release.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The buttons on my controller randomly switch all around or totally stop working at times. Then the keyboard NEVER works. This hasn't ever happened to me in a game before. I'd say to avoid this game just because the bugs are so frustratingly annoying. Ain't at all worth the effort.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →CRAZY CHAOTIC CUTENESS This game will kill many hours of boredom!!! If you like a not too difficult grind, where you're always unlocking new weapons, items and things, On every run. This games for you! The DLC is cute, but it's not needed...its just unlocks some new characters...(All characters have the same abilities) Overall 8/10... Not really anything bad to say about the game, except that in some scenerios you will really find yourself RELYING on luck in hopes to win!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →good ok episode 2 happy tree friends
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's like Binding of Isaac except fun.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The Crackpet Show, developed by Vixa Games and published by Ravenage Games alongside Ripples Asia Venture, delivers a wildly entertaining and chaotic roguelite twin-stick shooter experience that combines fast-paced action with a quirky, darkly humorous narrative. Set against a bizarre, post-apocalyptic backdrop, the game plunges players into a twisted world where mutated animals are thrust into a violent reality TV competition. This unusual premise not only sets the tone for the game’s…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I loved playing as the htf characters. :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The Crackpet Show is a rogue-like, rpg (similar to Binding of Isaac), and stands out with the immense gore. Wacky characters (even more with the Happy Tree Friends pack), and even crazier enemies to face. Like other titles of the genre, your goal is surviving the run through a series of levels (which you are able to choose different paths, so each run is unique), and have randomly generated elements. As you complete more episodes, enemies gain strength, more random factors occur, and the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →hard stuck at third boss ♥♥♥♥ you happy tree friends
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Played for about 30 minutes before requesting a refund. It seems very basic, and idk, i didn't get hooked onto it. Music was looped same throughout the entire game, and it was relatively boring. the controls were kind of slow it seemed and... idk. it was not worth the price i paid for it. If you get it cheap on sale, sure. but US$15 aint it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →you sometimes think, but imagine is allowed and if a book can read, can it hear words
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I play this game in local coop with my friends and we have a lot of fun. Game has many weapons, perks and usable items. There is one thing i would like to see implemented in future updates. At the end of every stage (or upon death) scoreboard with damage delt, kills, damage taken, likes recived etc. so we can compete with eachother. Something similar to scoreboard in Towerfall.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really boring and cheap. Not worth the 20 bucks even for the Happy Tree Friends content
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →dude those crackpets are so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ funny they make me wanna merge without looking
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Some base game and HTF characters aren't visible in lobby or in game. Deleted and downloaded twice but same results.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I played this on a whim on the switch and fell in love with it. It’s chaotic and violent but just so fun and cute. If you add the HTF pack it’s gold! There is some challenge but simplicity in its design. Highly recommended
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i Can´t recommend this game i´ve played 18 of 18 levels and I don´t feel the sense of progression. You can´t start level with upgraded weapons, no perks so why i beat the level for? That´s what i felt when i play this game. 6/10
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What a shame that we can't use Lumpy!!!!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good & fun action roguelite. Not as demanding as some.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →*This is for both the game and the Happy Tree Friends Edition DLC.* Finally, an actually good Happy Tree Friends game, sort of. The Crackpet Show: Happy Tree Friends Edition is a fun indie roguelite shooter that's clearly inspired by classic twin-stick shooters like Smash TV. It's not amazing however, even to a HTF fan like me. We will get into that shortly. Pros: [ The Crackpet Show] - Fun, engaging gameplay - Unique enemies and variety - Crude, but charming art-style - Unique guns and items…
