#TheBride is messy, but by design. There's a mad-scientist energy to it all that kept me engaged and, at times, in awe. Wild and provocative with an electric romance. Bale, as usual, is sublime, but Buckley is cinematic dynamite. She puts the exclamation point in THE BRIDE!

THE BRIDE! being abrasive and brash is not the problem. It has no real grasp on its many themes and ideas beyond what's on the surface. Looks great in IMAX, but also has some of the worst dialogue that almost ruins the performances. My full review... discussingfilm.net/2026/03/04/the…
