I knew it would be terrible but watched anyway Red Sonja (2025) Conan the Barbarian (2011) Kull the Conqueror (1997) Conan the Adventurer (1997) Conan and the Young Warriors (1993) Conan the Adventurer (1992)

I recently wrote the horror video game Amanda the Adventurer; direct theater and film (just directed my first feature!); act; sing for a monster-and-cryptid-themed surf band, Beach Creeper; and host Shocktail Hour both live and on video!

unlabelledView post →For Charlie Chaplin’s birthday, figured I’d watch a few of my favorite short films of his: “The Immigrant”, “Easy Street” and “The Adventurer” from his time at Mutual Film Corporation.

unlabelledView post →Charlie Chaplin lived in Topanga Canyon and filmed part of his movie THE ADVENTURER there! Other classic actors who lived in Topanga include Carol Lombard, Shirley Temple, Perer Lorre, Johny Weissmuller (Tarzan), Humphrey Bogart, and Kirk Douglas! Learning Topanga history after a recent visit!

unlabelledView post →Here late, to watch what I can only assume is some REALLY bad Sam Neill. 😆 #MondayActionMovie #TheAdventurer
unlabelledView post →Clearly the same man 😉#SilentFlickerSunday #TheAdventurer
unlabelledView post →and now some fun and chaos from everyone’s favorite silent era Romani comedian: Charlie Chaplin! #SilentFlickerSunday #TheAdventurer

unlabelledView post →Wow, I've never seen Lena Headey vamp it up, and for a teenage boy.😆 I still have the odd nightmare of being feminized by her the hard way from #Dredd. 😖 (*Cough* The easy way is by Tetrazine, like the African Tree Frogs) #MondayActionMovie #TheAdventurer
unlabelledView post →For “Silent Movie Day”, I’m watching Charlie Chaplin’s 1917 classic “The Immigrant”. Probably my favorite of his short films (along with “Easy Street” and “The Adventurer”).
unlabelledView post →Currently watching The Adventurer: Curse of the Midas Box while i practice art. It has a completely generic name and a terrible poster, so i expected it to not be great, but I'm actually surprised how much fun I'm having with it. It's a neat chill little adventure movie. Not bad at all
unlabelledView post →The Adventurer: The Curse of the Midas Box. So it even SOUNDS like a Librarian movie.
unlabelledView post →AMANDA THE ADVENTURER IS GETTING A MOVIE

unlabelledView post →We had a fun Silent Movie Day film screening today at Beyond the Frame, starting with Charlie Chaplin's "The Adventurer" (1917) followed by Harold Lloyd's "The Kid Brother" (1927), both on 16mm prints from the Pratt film collection.
unlabelledView post →Matpat I love you but Amanda The Adventurer? Really? 😭 Like no offense but theres so many better options for indie horror game movie adaptations in my opinion... Subnautica, SOMA, Mouthwashing, FAITH, Signalis, Devotion, Fears To Fathom, IMSCARED... I don't know just ATA is silly to me.
unlabelledView post →it sounds like its gonna be a great year for horror films next year!!! ❤️👀 ALSO THEY MAKING AN AMANDA THE ADVENTURER MOVIE HOLY HELL!!
unlabelledView post →Wait so if Blumhouse is making this movie, does that mean that a Amanda The Adventurer and FNaF crossover is possible now?
unlabelledView post →Hey. Turn that frown upside down. Post FNaF movie with studios desperately scrounging around for semi-popular mascot horror games to turn into movies, we might get an Amanda the Adventurer movie./hj
unlabelledView post →@LK_877 @bunnyhero or possibly just a very silly novel. 😖 #MondayActionMovie #TheAdventurer

unlabelledView post →If you ever wondered what a movie would be like with a character like Balthier from FFXII, I suggest watching “The Adventurer: The Curse of the Midas Box”. Captain Will Charity carries the same spirit and attitude as Balthier. He even shares the earring and flare.
unlabelledView post →Guys, I need your help. What the hell is the TROPE called when the environment is all family friendly at first glance but turns out to be all brooding and scary like a horror movie? (ex. Five Nights At Freddy’s, Indigo Park, Amanda the Adventurer, etc.)
unlabelledView post →Super excited that I was able to play Amanda the Adventurer 3 demo at Pax East! I couldn’t film the game play but I sure did film my reactions. So here’s a reaction video (plus my theories) after playing the demo! 😍 @dreadxp.bsky.social 🔗⬇️⬇️
unlabelledView post →Remember the scene where Ranbir robs a bank and then plays hide & seek with Saurabh Shukla's cop character using a sliding door? Straight lifted from Charlie Chaplin's 1917 short film, "The Adventurer". #Barfi #BollywoodChapa
unlabelledView post →Dare I say this somehow manages to be a better mascot horror film than the actual FNAF movies?? Also I can feel the DHMIS inspiration poking through with this film. That upcoming Amanda The Adventurer film adaptation better be on the same level as Buddy is.
unlabelledView post →Praying the Amanda the Adventurer movie does not have Jakeneutron in it in any way shape or form 🙏 Anyway I’m very excited. #amandatheadventurer
unlabelledView post →As an indy horror game Amanda the Adventurer was kind of mid, but the plot I think would translate well to a movie, better than FNaF did, and the plot is quite fun.
unlabelledView post →I'm actually all in for this. MatPat studied theatre and has a degree in it so this just seems like an obvious career path. I'm probably not going to see this though as Amanda the Adventurer isn't my thing, holding out hope for Andre Øvredal's Bendy movie though.

unlabelledView post →I feel like MatPat is in the same camp as Markiplier of "YouTubers I actually believe could be trusted with making a movie based on what they've done in the past" but im not sure a Blumhouse Amanda the Adventurer movie is a project that has the potential to be anything other than "Buddy but worse"
unlabelledView post →I wished they’d make a whole movie just about the Adventurer cult
unlabelledView post →This feels like a trick question. Conan the Adventurer (the cartoon) felt like it was JUST a Conan In general adaptation, not specifically an adaptation of the movie. Conan the Adventurer the Live Action We're cashing in on Sorbo's TV Show, was specifically a sequel to the films nobody cares about
unlabelledView post →Oh no, the sequel is about evil parents, dastardly! #MondayActionMovie #TheAdventurer

unlabelledView post →Here's some other random poorly received and/or forgotten adaptations I have time for: Shaq's Steel movie (I genuinely adore it). Bumblebee. Conan the Adventurer (both, but especially the cartoon). The Phantom (1996). Sonic Underground. TMNT The Next Mutation. Loonatics Unleashed.

unlabelledView post →So I heard Amanda the Adventurer is getting a Movie and yeah basically like FNAF and it be directed by MadPat himself thats interesting especially for the Indie Horror Community to start with
