It’s no Silksong of course, but it’s a nice little puzzle platforming metroidvania-lite with lovely music and interesting ideas. It’s on sale for like $4 on the eShop right now.
unlabelledView post →My top Switch game of the year is embarrassing since it's mostly me failing to build metal gear for 56 hours in ToTK. So a honorable mention goes to Teslagrad 2 for 10 hours, not counted since it was this month for some reason. I'm still recommending Grapple Dog if you're a platformer fan. #blutoid

There is quite a few things that we have to get straight on, but once those are done, the plan is to officially announce the game we are working on :-D Until then, here is some cool concept art of Elenor, the secret Teslagrad 2 final boss.

Pick one more random game and you've got a seriously good deal

For those who want to play the connecting story between Teslagrad 1 and Teslagrad 2, and the start of Lumina's journey, this would be a great time to pick it up. store.steampowered.com/news/app/530... Oh, and that includes an update on our GOG version of the game.

unlabelledView post →I will be giving away a steamkey for Teslagrad 2 during my stream tomorrow. It was a mystery game in my bundle and I already own it! How do you win? Be present and interact. I will do a Number Guess. Closest guess wins! Key to be delivered immediately upon winning.
unlabelledView post →At one point in Teslagrad 2's development, we were playing around with introducing a 'dark path' with unique powers for the last act of the game, with the option to restart from the split point with a 'clean path'(which is the one that made it into the game). This is the 'dark path' endgame costume

unlabelledView post →Teslagrad 2 is near immediately an improvement in almost every way than the first game, chief among which is making the Red Polarity nonmandatory so a lot of the puzzles and stuff to solve feels much more natural and less overwhelming
unlabelledView post →Yeah i got Teslagrad 2 in a fanatical bundle and i was like “i might as well just buy the first game now” lol It looks like a fun game, and 5 hours is perfect … because i want something short after Persona 5

unlabelledView post →Teslagrad 2 is a high def 2d game, but due to having a bigger scope and a not that much bigger budget than the first game, we went pretty deep in replicating the visual feel of the digital cel animations of the first game using prerendered 3d, and it netted us an Annie nomination
unlabelledView post →About half of what we made in Teslagrad 2 is not on the straight path the player is led along to finish the game. We want players to be allowed to choose whether they want to explore the world further. There is a lot of clues in these areas to what happened in the past.
unlabelledView post →Teslagrad 2: I'd say this one was as fun as the first one, the momentum puzzles were still fun. And I'd say the bosses had less trial and error than the first game. Only Major complaint is that the unskippable cutscenes for the final boss got annoying quickly.
unlabelledView post →I'm debating if I wanna play more Teslagrad 2 tonight or take a break bc yeah snowstorm's looking like ti'll cause no issues but at the same time tis' cold as fuck and idk if I'm in the mood to game (TM)
unlabelledView post →Switch Backlog: TESLAGRAD 2 Adored the 1st game on Wii U but something with the 2nd game doesn't click with me. It's a platformer about magnetism, all about sticking to things or catapulting away from them. But it feels less tight to control, too floaty, which perfectly fits but I'm not enjoying it.
unlabelledView post →No intro, no tutorials, you're literally dropped in and you just need to start running. Teslagrad 2 seems to loooooooove pursuits. I'm less of a fan than the game is. I have no idea what my goal is other than 'forward' and 'don't die'. So right now it leaves me confused and beat up.
unlabelledView post →Quick review for Teslagrad 2: +Gives you more fun mechanics earlier than 1 +Great art direction & sound design -Unstable performance -Abrupt ending (aka I beat the final boss & didn't realize it was the final boss) Would've been nice to unlock icons of missing collectibles after beating the game.
unlabelledView post →Yeah, Teslagrad 2 has some area loading hitches and lower framerate or verticsl resolution areas on switch that we haven't been able to resolve easily due to the movement speed of the game and the sheer amount of 2d layering, which always frustrated me because i want to deliver a smooth experience
unlabelledView post →2 - Teslagrad 2 (PS5) This one bummed me out. Lovely visual, amazing music, but janky movement and downright awful combat spoils what should be a nice short metroidvania.
unlabelledView post →Fanatical has a bundle going on where you can get 3 Steam games for $3 (and $1 per game thereafter). I grabbed Teslagrad 2, Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX, and Time Loader. 🙌 www.fanatical.com/en/pick-and-...

unlabelledView post →I should probably write my review of #Teslagrad2 even though I haven't finished it because there's no chance I'll ever manage to beat the hidden boss anyway.
unlabelledView post →I rue the day I chose to let my completionist side win. The secret final² boss unlocked by getting all powerups in #Teslagrad2 is HARD.
unlabelledView post →@fluffypaws OK I'm not entirely sure, because it has been a while, but I think the last show I watched was #PsychoPass. And I've been playing the #Teslagrad series (completed Teslagrad and #WorldToTheWest, now playing #Teslagrad2). That's going to be interesting.
unlabelledView post →Possible new favorite horror game: Gylt. Really glad I discovered it. I beat it twice in a month, and I'm itching to play it a third time, but I need to finish my other stuff first, like WarioWare: Move It, and a handful of indies I bought. Or replay Teslagrad 2.
unlabelledView post →The difficulty on 2 of Teslagrad 2's bosses was tuned just a bit too high, which is a shame because it's otherwise a really charming game.
