Barely any funny conversations, animations are stiff as ♥♥♥♥, atmosphere is horrible. I get that this was Telltale's first game and this was a crucial stepping stone for them to later achieve greatness, but it's really not worth it even for less than a quid.

Unless you really have a thing for Janky Old PC Games, definitely skip this. Also, important note: if you want to play the game, you gotta go into the files and delete the file named "port". Do not enable full-screen either.

It's essentially a glorified poker tech demo featuring four generic characters who occasionally make some brief vaguely comedic banter with one another. This makes for a rather boring experience. I also found the game to be too easy, and that's coming from someone whose only experience with poker is from Telltale's own Poker Night series.

Definitely worth that - If I hadn't already paid for it I would pay another dollar; Fair poker, cheesy characters (Telltale charm). This is good texas hold'em with interesting characters that tire if you play too long... Although come back a year or two later and It's a fun ride. Recommended at $1.

The characters look like rejected Sims 2 NPCs, the jokes land about as often as a two seven off suit, and the AI cheats with the subtlety of a cartoon villain. You’ll spend more time listening to bad one liners than playing actual hands. Boris has a strong jawline though.

But if you kinda know what you’re doing, it then feels way too easy. It's easy to kill'em all. The bots’ logic is simple, got no learning system. It does what it says on the tin, I'd say it's definitely a good and cheap game if you just want to play some poker against bots. Not much else to add, other than it was TellTale's first title - made and released as a proof of concept for digital distribution of games (as early as 2005!).
