Price, although the cheap price tag and being bundled with Curve’s best game should have perhaps been a sign… - Cons: For me, the fun should be what you can do in the scenario, but instead, you spend the whole time trying to battle obtuse controls. It worked well for Surgeon Simulator or Octodad, it doesn’t for this. I was hoping for something fun like Job Simulator or I…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Friends! Usually Baby Dog and I have a Special Meal around Valentine’s Day but we can’t do that sort of thing at the moment because the Kittens steal all our food. Mum is trying hard to teach them Table Manners. So instead, we had a Game with our very own Pack of Cards. It was fun! ❤️

Like SS, you control your own hand to use, grab and release the objects and complete the objectives, while you are dealing with unpredictable game's physics. Some differences where the time is limited to complete the objectives and you are on a date; impress him/her/them with your 'handy' skills by pouring the wine, cooking the marshmallows, mixing the drinks, grabbing the sushi, etc. Impress…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Poured ketchup in my date's wine, set fire to the creme brulee and caused The Hand to glitch wildly out of control into a box of matches, flinging the expensive whiskey into the stratosphere along with my chances of a second date. 10/10 would Blundr again
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's like Tinder in real life, but you'll probably be more successful in Table Manners! Table Manners is a physics based game (with time management skills), much akin to 2013's Surgeon Simulator. But instead of performing open heart surgeries or brain transplants, you are taking out guys and gals on dates, pouring their wine, salting their steaks, lighting candles, the whole nine yards! The controls are difficult to get used to, now, that would normally be a bad thing in a game. However, with…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Now based on the video trailer and past experience, I was expecting a game similar to "Surgeon Simulator" or "Tea Party Simulator" where you'd have the satisfaction of all fingers and physics of the world. Didn't have that, but a simple raise and lower mechanic, with automatic grabbing.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I didn't really feel much of a challenge blasting through each of the levels, even with Liquid Courage enabled. I didn't fail a single date. This lack of difficulty made it so easy, I completed two playthroughs of this game in two sittings. I did enjoy this game; the art style, the gameplay, the physics kept me captivated the entire time, but left me wanting more. At the current price though ($14.39), I just cannot recommend this game. There is not enough content to get that much value out of…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Similar to games like Surgeon Simulator you're using wonky controls and physics to perform actions. Unfortunately a date isn't exactly enjoyable when the other person does nothing at all. The physics are about what you'd expect. Things get knocked over if hit with enough force, you have to pour drinks at the proper angle, things like that. There's a solid amount of bugs where objects get stuck into your hand so you're unable to grab anything else. Your date, while not suffering from…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Overview I must admit that this is my first physics-based game that takes a light-hearted approach instead of a more scientific one. I decided to take the plunge for what seemed both casual and comedic and I can now say that I’m not disappointed that I did. The variety and creative design of Table Manners: The Physics-Based Dating Game performed admirably at keeping me entertained for an hour or so at a time and I found it to be a blast when taking turns with a partner. BLUNDR: Your Gateway…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Dear readers of reviews, Do not buy this game. Although it looks hilarious and like it would be good advice for those who don't know how to date. BUT THAT IS WRONG! It's just a repetitive embarrassment to the simulator genre. Go on a date instead of buying this game is my advice. What could they do to improve the game? Maybe some conversations or something a bit more interesting than putting sauce on their dishes. EVERYTHING WAS ABOUT THEM AND THEIR NEEDS! no more. Do not buy.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a pretty fun and hilarious game that's great for short bursts of fun. Definitely don't take this one too seriously (but what did you expect when you clicked on 'Physics-based dating game'?)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I waited for a while to get the game and I don't actually regret to. The game has a few glitches such as objects flying away for no reason, glass glitching into my hand or the table but that's more funny than it is bothering me. I see that another person on here mentioned it and I'm gonna say it too. When the character asks for salt or pepper, it should say which one since it's hard to know at first glance. There is also one where it was showing some kind of bottle to use...I still haven't…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a bit like Surgeon Simulator, but you pour beer in glasses with your floppy hand instead of saving lives... To the surprise of no one I have more experience and success with the former than with the latter. 10/10 would set fire to the table again.

You can only move one hand and need to lighten up candles, serve wine, order food, feed your date, etc. There are plenty of things your date will ask you to do. If you succeed, you will get hearts and advance to the next level. There are different locations, which makes the whole game for fun: simple restaurant, Chinese restaurant, boat, airplane. The graphics are good, and the music is chill.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is two kinds of unrealistic. The first being using a blow torch to defrost ice cream, and the second being me having a date.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game's fun for a few minutes then it starts to get pretty stale pretty quick. I feel like there's not enough content in it to keep me playing for long sessions. I can't say that I could recommend it to others. i don't know maybe I'm just not the intended player.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →1 review over 10 hours. Because the play time of this game is so genuinely short that it serves no purpose being a paid game. You do menial tasks while learning how to pat your head and rub your stomach at the same time. Woooo fun, I had a misconception and thought this game would be something akin to VR hilarity where you pick up and throw stuff that goes flying making huge messes and being weird for the slapstick element, but it's not, even being chaotic is slow. Hand Simulator, but not as…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Way too hard and frustrating. And also, the women look like men in wigs. There's really not a lot of choice either in terms of where to go, because it's so hard to begin with you never can progress further than the first restaurant. Maybe buy it if it has a big discount, but I can't recommend it I'm afraid.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If going out for a date is anything like this, I don't want to. I don't really like awkward to control sims etc but somehow with controller this was manageable. Sometimes the physics can get little too wild and for some reason the second world can bug out if you complete the level when the table change is happening. Overall I think it was pretty fun for what it is. 6/10.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is a more cartoon-ish version of hand simulator and a more obsolete version of surgeon simulator. I think the novelty of the game wears off in around 5 minutes and isnt much fun, with surgeon simulator theres a reason to play and consequences of mistakes and the novelty is actually funny but with this it isnt the same and i wouldnt waste my time or money playing this
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Set the table on fire and my date didn't like that
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This rather disappointed me which is such a shame because the idea is ace and this could of been a great game. Sadly all you do is the same thing over and over and it doesnt feel like a date its more like babysitting. (order the food, pour the drink, add salt to my chips) its just rather boring and repetitive.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Crippled girl and a handicapped man It's fun for an hour. After that, it's rather boring.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So far at the third restaurant (with the blowtorch) and while the controls are awkward, I'm having a lot of fun with the resulting chaos! I don't think this game is intended for you to do it perfectly (just look at the promo video) and the amount of shenanigans I can get up to is fresh and creative. I thought this game would be more focused on dating and actual table manners, but I was pleasantly pleased to know it is much more a physics and interaction focused game with a dating theme.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very fun, great art style, delightful game play! There are a few bugs with the physics, such as your hand flying across the screen and collision disappearing. But that doesn't take away the fun and charm, if you liked surgeon simulator and looking for a great laugh, this game is for you! Side note: There is a delay at times with the objectives on the plane. There was even a point where I had to abandon the date because the objectives just stopped all together.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I enjoyed this game a lot, I don't have a lot to say about it except if the concept of Surgeon Sim meets Tinder interests you - this game doesn't disappoint. The controls feel about how you'd expect and I had a lot of fun with it - I hope there's more content though. The levels are all distinct and offer varied challenges and it never feels unfair, just sometimes you have to be prepared and be okay with physics rng behaviour - which I personally love.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Table Manners is a dating sim, where you find someone to date with through an app and go on various locations and date nights to succeed, however you need to know your manner and use your hand properly. The base idea is all right, it's fun to use a hand with bit difficult controls to do seemingly easy tasks, but in the game is quite difficult of course, The mood of this one is all right, the music helps a lot and also there are other smaller activities next to dating, which you can do, like…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun game idea but the controls are unbearable. I'm sure that's the intention. Watch your favourite youtubers struggle with this but ITS NOT FUN TO PLAY IT YOURSELF IT SUCKS
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A Fun Gateway to Romance or a Frustrating Dating Disaster with all its Maddening Pitfalls? Table Manners: Physics-Based Dating Game may be a fun premise that pokes fun at modern dating conventions. To embark on a date you must first take out your mobile phone, boot up an app then swipe your gammon-finger across the face of a prospective suitor to your liking. Under all the beards, piercings and makeup, every date has the same base character model – and this standardization is jarring.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I don't even know what to say. I didn't really have high expectations, but I at least expected the controls to be good. I mean, I expected them to be good in a way. I know garbage controls are basically the bread and butter (no pun intended) of games like this, but my brain wasn't able to accept WASD does nothing but control the hand's elevation. The 'W' key increases the hand's elevation and 'S' decreases it. 'A' and 'D' do nothing at all, which is a strange sensation after years of expecting…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The art style and start of the game is okay but it falls hard when you notice your hand glitches into everything, you grab one thing with a 50% it shoots everything around it away making you fail the date, and some times the mission just doesnt work like "pour ketch up on the plate doesnt work" making you fail the date.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This was the most frustrating game I've ever played in my life. So many times I would get so close to completing even the simplest of tasks, only to be foiled last minute. This was like playing Jurassic Park: Trespasser on salvia. My palms started to sweat, my heart raced and I wanted to scream out at nobody and everybody in a fit of primal rage. Would recommend.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Chaotic and challenging physics fun! Recommended for anyone looking to sharpen their dating / food hurling skills. This is clumsy courting at its best, there's some truly absurd dating missions and beautiful locations. It's a great price for a super fun, highly amusing and visually striking game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →After playing this disability simulator, I gained an abstract concept about how difficult the life is for disabled people.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →My dad gave me this game for my birthday expecting me to troll my dates, but then i felt bad so i played the game normally.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Definitely fun and makes you have a ton of wtf moments. Worth the money even though it's frustrating. Streaming this game is likely to get you raided on Twitch. I got raided 3 times while playing. 10/10 would stream again.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Played through and "beat" the game in about 2 hours. Definitely a lot of fun, but short. Got on average about 2 out of 3 hearts per level on my first play. There is a "challenge" mode you unlock after beating it. Hoping for some more content in the future! My biggest complaint is the controls. While it is a simulator game and "awkward" controls are expected, the movement is mapped to mouse which results in lots of picking up and resetting your mouse. Being able to map the movement to…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I thought this game was great fun and made me laugh lots ! Congrats ECG on your first launch :D
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've never felt so accomplished successfully pouring a glass of wine. Fun, frustrating but oh so addictive.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Table Manners is a nice game based on physics. It's a little harc to control your hand but it's fun and you can choose to do anything you want so no limits!!! The graphics are good and the ambiant is great. I recommend it!!! ❤️❤️❤️
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Table Manners: Physics-Based Dating Game is a joke/meme game, essentially a ripoff of Surgeon Simulator from tinyBuild (I wonder if they will sue), but they swapped the surgery theme for a dating theme. The game itself is pretty much exactly the same, and quickly you'll find just how shallow it is. One positive thing (I suppose) is that this is fairly well polished and has somewhat high production value for a joke game, they bought the most expensive lipstick they could find for the pig.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's Meh at best. I would say the first two dates are interesting, and then you realize it's the same thing over and over again. The physics part of the game is OK, but the game is lacking entertainment.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →fat hands on a date seems like a fun idea but it's not. the novelty goes away fast as there's not as much interaction with your date that one would hope. most of what you do it poring things, moving items, or giving food to your date when asked. your date only gets mad if you take to long to do the things they ask you to and not when you throw stuff at them, pure things on them, or try to punch/grab them (you can not touch your date btw). i also ran into an issue with the the ketchup running…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really enjoy this concept, played something similar on Itchio a few years back, the mixture of bad but intentional controls mixed with a dating simulator through various places is so much fun. I've made it through 3 locations now and can't wait to see where it goes. I know this might not be for everyone but it's so much fun if you like the hard to control but hilarious games. Gameplay: https://youtu.be/eB8zgwzco6Y
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This one of the closer ways to play a "VR" game without actually using the headset. The controls are a little funky but its pretty good once you've got the hang of it. There's lots of great challenges but sometimes its not fully explained and you have to see the level first to understand how to play it. I've gotten 3 hearts on almost all of the levels. There's still quite a few glitches to work out, like when you want to drop an item, sometime it attaches to your hand. Its a kooky but fun…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Table Manners is a game where you play a disembodied hand on a date. There is left hand support (confusingly presented in a setting that just says "Left Hand" with a box you leave unchecked if you're a rightie), and the hand is customizable. Recreate your own hand, or unlock accessories to build the hand you WISH you had. In my limited experience with games that have deliberately obtuse controls, Table Manners is on the easy end of the scale. You don't have to get weird button combos down…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What a super thing for you and BabyDog to do. I do hope there was no cheating 🐱🐶 A pity that the Kittens couldn’t join in with the game. In view of their lack of Table Manners perhaps just as well! Goodness knows what would have happened 🙀😹🤣
unlabelledView post →The best way to play this game is with a room full of friends watching you make an idiot out of yourself. I did not enjoy it very much playing solo. But, there's just something wonderful about lovingly mocking your brother about how he can't even feed a girl on a date. It's like watching him on his real dates. Awkward and laughable. If you have friends that you want to laugh at, I recommend it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's one of those games where the whole gimmick is the difficult controls. There's lots of them. It was a nice idea but should've just been VR dating sim.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It saddens to say that this is a bad game published by Curve Digital. I have played one of the other games they have published, Human Fall Flat and that game was beautiful. This game is clunky, buggy and utilizes physics in the worst way possible. I wouldn't recommend it, so do not purchase or you will end up getting a refund or having to play a game you don't enjoy.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you yearn for a time in your life, when you were just getting used to hand-eye coordination, and you don't have a ball or paper and pencils handy... re-evaluate your life choices. If you are really dead set on feeling what it was like when grabbing hold of a cup was a challenge, perhaps, consider a stroke. If after that you still want to experience what it feels like to have trouble picking up any basic object, fine, then get this "game". I really do not think I am the intended audience…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Some of these bad reviews must have been from an older version of the game, because for me, it's everything I wanted out of it. The game is charming, challenging, hilarious, it runs smooth, and it's incredibly satisfying to succeed at. Table Manners is simple. Try to convince someone to go on a date with you through a fake dating app. If you can do that, you go on a date. If you go on a date, you try not to suck at it. You usually do suck by the way, and it's always funny, at least for me it…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Controls feel so awkward. You're always in a panic in the very small time window to complete your tasks. Sometimes the tools given to you just don't work on your command. Exactly like how a first date feels like. It feels so awkward but its the right version of awkward to make you feel like you're fumbling on your first date. This SCREAMS to be in VR though but it's a nice indie game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →10 outta 10. absolutely love this game. such a nice cool game with some incredible ideas and thought proccess into it too! if youre after a game that offers a nice challenge with not too much concentration. yanoe? like something you can chill too... then this is the game for you. such a nice in change in pace and its a funny and fun little dating sim!!
